"I moved into Sky Active University Pines. They've got big rooms and plenty of closet space. I love my balcony. The staff is friendly and the food is excellent. They've all been friendly and introduced themselves. I went to a weight class this morning, she was nice. They had a 3:00 social hour. They had exercise classes every day. They've got a book club which I want to check out. Once a week they put out the van to go to different restaurants to check it out, but right now the air conditioning is out, and the van hasn't gone anywhere. I've got one criticism, they only have one elevator and I'm on the third floor, come mealtime, everybody is in their walkers, and it fills up fast."

"I toured The Arbors of Gulf Breeze, and that place is perfect. If ever I need anything, that is the place I would choose. The setup is perfect: the facility, the room, cleaning, hygiene, and gardening. The staff was very nice. The food is good."

"Seagrass Village of Gulf Shore was very nice and very upscale with a lot of amenities. They were very accommodating and gave us a tour of all the different units and styles that they had available. The accommodations were very nice. They were as I expected for something fairly new. Fixtures and bedding and access were all very well done. There were studio and one-bedrooms that we looked at. They had organized activities, various planned events, trips, shopping, parks, cards, and pool activities. Physical therapy and occupational therapy services on site were very good."

"Lucas Creek Apartments is close to some nice shopping and is in an area that appears to be a safe neighborhood. They cater to seniors with activities. They offer washers and dryers for the units. It's fairly new. It's probably less than three years old at this point. The lobby area was really nice. It had a very nice decor and was very clean. They had a vegetable garden, a gazebo, and a pet park. It's really pretty. They offer bingo and the traditional activities with some extra things, too (like indoor Frisbee and some type of painting). I met Tabitha, the manager. I also met Vanessa, the assistant manager. They both have been extremely helpful with this process (from the application, to just some of the other logistics because my mom's moving from out of town). They've been accommodating and flexible. I've asked a lot of questions and am constantly emailing. They get back to me."

"The apartments are roomy and bright.Maintenance is available upon request. Security is provided and the facility is safe. I thoroughly enjoy living here because the staff is both friendly and helpful. The service coordinator is very friendly and happily helps answer questions. She listens to problems and often provides a needed shoulder. Overall, it’s a great place to live."

"I went to Wesley Haven Villa. It was a very nice facility. It's probably about 20 years old. It's well-maintained. The food was really good, and the staff was friendly and helpful. They had activities and shopping days out for the people with a van. They had a couple of vans. The apartments were bright and clean."
