"I like Asher Point Independent Living of Mobile. It was fantastic. I like everything about it. It was nice and clean. The food there would have been great because they had a chef. All the personnel that I've talked with were nice and personable. They didn't treat you like an idiot. They have a card room and a domino room. The people who helped me there were good. Their dining area was great. It was nice and clean. You could order what you wanted. They had a chef."

"Somerby of Mobile was wonderful. My mother made the decision to move in right there during the tour. Tara was very accommodating and absolutely wonderful -- from the tour, the information, and the time that she spent with us answering our questions, asking us questions of her needs, and all. I have nothing but good things to say about them. The apartments were very, very nice. They had models for us to look at, and it was just very warm and welcoming. It was clean and it just looked great. Tara gave me all her info -- even her cell number -- so I can get in touch with her and ask any questions at any time. She was very helpful. They have plenty of amenities too. From what they said, they'll have transportation for her to go to the store on different days or to her doctor's appointments. We also went through the food and their menu, and we even got introduced to the chef and their nurses. They had plenty of activities -- like they had people playing instruments, playing cards, and stuff like that. Since COVID restrictions have been lifted now, some of the residents are able to pursue their recreational activities."

"Gordon Oaks Senior Living Community is a very nice place. They get a lot of good care there. The facility is clean. The people who work there are doing a really good job taking care of the people who are there. The staff was pleasant. She showed me the different-sized rooms and their prices. They have a courtyard, a beauty salon, a nice area to eat, and their own private rooms. The dining area was clean. They're doing some renovations now."

"Brookside Senior Living Community was very nice. The person during the tour was excellent, very friendly, and very knowledgeable. The dining area looked very nice. From what I've heard from the other guests, the food was good. I saw some of the results of the crafts that they've done. They have a beauty shop and a little library. The apartment looked very nice and very modern. It's all one-story and it's very small. There are only 16 people in the assisted living, so it's a little homier."

"I toured Westminster Village - Spanish Fort. The residents looked very involved and very happy. They have lots of programs going out and lots of things for the people to do. It's very clean and very pretty. And all the employees are super nice. Everyone knows your name. The main reason that I like it is that as you get older and need more care, you can advance up to the assisted living and then to the nursing level. It is all contained. I haven't lived there yet, but from what I saw, read, and looked into, I'm very impressed with it, and I've looked at several places in this area. I have tried their food, and it's delicious. I feel like it's a better deal than any place else I've looked at. I feel like it offers a lot, too. It has a gym, a swimming pool, and a woodworking shop. They have gardening, dancing, and sewing classes. There are lots of groups as well."
