The Seagrass Village of Daphne was beautiful. They have three sections. They have the villas, which are completely independent. They have apartments, which are independent, but they can get meals. In the villas, you have to cook your own food, but you're welcome to go to the dining room. I'm sure it's for a small price, though. The third section is for assisted living. I only looked at the villas for independent living, and they were very impressive and pretty big. They are in the back of the facility, and they have 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom ones. I looked at the 3-bedroom villas first, and I didn't think they were that much bigger than the 2-bedroom ones. Also, because they have 3 bedrooms, the rooms aren't as spacious. They took me to see the 2-bedroom villas, and I was impressed. They have full kitchens with appliances and everything. Their bathroom is also a good size. They're very nice. I got to meet a number of people from the staff. For anybody who's looking for independent living, I highly recommend the villas. Most of the stuff is located in the apartment area because that's the first thing you see. They have a pool and all the amenities there that you're welcome to use as a resident. The community looks very nice, and they definitely have land to build more villages. The staff members were all very kind and considerate, and they answered all my questions. At the end of the open house, one of them took me to a two-bedroom, because the open house was in a three-bedroom villa. They were very helpful. The facility looks like it's brand new, or at least the villas do. The ones we went in were spotless and fresh. They were still putting together the 2-bedroom one. They hadn't put it in the microwave over the stove, so I'm thinking they are building as they go.
