"My mother is a resident at Westwood. After her recent stay in the hospital I stayed onsite in a guest apt. The entire staff was helpful and accommodating as my mother adjusted to her apt. The food is great with a surprisingly nice selection on the menu and with backups always available. Additionally the support staff was extremely helpful in arranging transportation to all her follow up doctors visits. I feel relieved that Mom is in a nice place with caring competent people."

"I toured American House Bluewater Bay. I like it very much, but the only thing I have against them is it's so tiny. The one-bedrooms are so tiny that I'd probably need two bedrooms just to get my computer in and things like that. The rooms were small. The staff looked like they were very helpful to the residents there. I would recommend it if they didn't mind the space. They have a pool, movies, and a lot of activities going on. The rooms are beautiful and nice, but they're very small. The staff who gave me the tour was very helpful and very knowledgeable."

"I was extremely impressed with Crystal Bay. They were very kind and assisted me for the tour. It appeared to be extremely well-kept, maintained and well-staffed. It would be a delightful place to live but unfortunately I could not afford it. "

"I lived at Bob Hope Village for a while, but I was not really happy with it. Every time you turn around, things were getting more expensive. You have to pay for everything. It was an old apartment, and you can hear the noise of the neighbors. It was horrible. The food was very good -- just a little expensive. The security was great because they had police officers that walk around all the time. You cannot have pets. They had a lot of recreational things to do. The staff was nice. I never heard anybody yell at anybody else, and they take care of the residents’ needs as soon as they can. They had little computers where you can schedule your work thing. You cannot get anything done unless you have a work order which was understandable. Everything had to be known. They have an exercise room and a pool. They also had classes for swimming. I just did not like it because the walls were thin, but the size of the apartment was great. I had plenty of room for everything. Everything was pretty good, but there could have been a lot of improvements. "
