"Upon first visiting the manor, I was in awe. It is beautiful, both inside and outside. Outside, there are lush gardens and fountains. The interior design was classical antique style. The front desk workers were extremely friendly and helpful. I told them I was there for a local community college class I was taking, and they gladly gave me a tour of the facility. The Manor seemed like a massive home. It definitely did not have the cold hospital feel to it. All of the amenities were well taken care of and the facilities were top notch. The outside gardens contain pavilions and benches for people to relax at. Inside the Manor the living room had several televisions, board games, and comfortable couches. The dining facility was beautiful and the food smelled delicious. It looked nothing like a cafeteria, in fact, it looked like a fine dining restaurant. The Manor also has a full functioning salon/barber shop. The rooms look like hotel rooms and the hallways are decorated in green carpet. "

"My husband is at Silvercrest Health And Rehabilitation Center. I certainly would recommend that place to anybody. It's a rehab and nursing facility. He has been there going on three weeks now. I like that it is very clean and extremely well staffed. They're just so nice with the patients. The staff is absolutely great. I'm there every day because he can't eat by himself. They feed him breakfast and lunch, and I'm usually there to give him supper. He has to have puréed food. He can't have regular food, but it's very tasty and very good. I usually taste it before I give it to him -- I'm just curious as to what it tastes like -- and it really tastes very good. As far as I know, they have games like bingo, and they have a minister come in once a week to talk to the people. I don't know much about their activities because my husband can't participate in any of them. It's expensive, and I have to pay the whole thing out of pocket. They have been very helpful, however, because at first my husband would have episodes where he got very angry and really very violent, but they solved that problem with medication, so he's going to stay there."
