I like the location of The Waterford at Carpenters Creek. It is central in town. I like the price they quoted me for one month of respite care. The facility itself is very clean. They have a nice staff. Everybody I met before I left my wife there seemed to be nice people. My wife likes the room they have for her and where it is located in the building. They did some physical therapy with her, but they haven't done much. I was hoping they would give her some more. I had eaten there a couple of times before and the food wasn't anything to rave about. It was kind of plain. I found my wife has eaten more cheeseburgers in the last couple of weeks than anything else because she doesn't like the rest of it. There is something that she likes there that she hasn't used much because of the weather. It is right down the hall from her room, a large veranda porch off the back of the building that's kind of in the woods. There's birds and squirrels and stuff. The water creek is right down below so it's very scenic. It's a nice and clean place, and things seem to be well-run. I didn't meet a lot of staff, but they all seemed to be fairly good at what they did. The physical therapist guy was really good and I like the management. They are pretty good. It's a good value for what they charge me, which is a regular monthly rate. So, that was good and that was one of the deciding things, the cost.

I toured The Waterford at Carpenter's Creek. It's affordable and it's clean. The staff seemed to be active and genuinely concerned. The rooms were good. The space was good. They offer three meals and snacks. They have aerobics classes, like seated aerobics.

We toured The facility to see if it was a good fit for future needs and it is absolutely what we been looking for. The layout is perfect and very spacious online other places that are small and cramped. The staff are friendly and treated us as if they were family and not staff. The food looked as if it was made with love and not just a square meal. This is one of the best facilities we have toured this far and may be a future home for our loved one.

I toured The Waterford at Carpenter's Creek. It was a good place. It seemed clean. The room that they showed us, I don't know if it was a model room or an actual room that was vacant at the time, but it seemed comfortable and well-maintained. It seemed like a quiet place where my mom would have the attention that she needed. And the other thing about that place was she could have her dog with her, which is extremely important to her.

I have a family member that has lived at Carpenter’s Creek for the last year. We’re always so impressed by the staff and their dedication to the residents. I toured multiple assisted living facilities before finding this one in Pensacola, and I am so glad we went with them. We have had a great experience, and I would absolutely recommend them.

I was looking for a place for my grandmother to live and I toured this facility and I gotta say it was a breath of fresh compared to the other facilities we’d toured. Cory the executive director was beyond professional and welcoming. The care staff were very friendly and polite and the maintenance crew has done an outstanding job with the upkeep of the building! I would highly recommend anyone I could to trust this amazing community with their loved ones!

I went looking for a place for my dad who lives in Pensacola Beach. I liked how open everything and everyone was- lots of folks living there stopped and asked questions about him. I saw lots of nurses and aides around which was nice…that isn’t always the case. We had lunch and it was very good, there were options if you didn’t like what was on the menu. Overall very very impressed.

My mother lives at The Waterford at Carpenter's Creek. She's been here about 18 months. I think that all the residents, whenever I come to visit my mom, always seem very happy. They're always in a good mood and friendly. They make the new residents feel welcome. I've also noticed that all of the departments pitch in to help each other out, and I think that's great. They have a wonderful activities department. They have an in-house therapy that's great. They have all sorts of activities going on throughout the week, and then they have special parties and things. They have a couple outdoor patios that are real nice and overlook the creek. My mom likes to sit out there. She really likes the fact that she can go to the meals whenever. There's open seating, so she doesn't have to pick a time. I've never personally eaten there, but I've never heard any complaints. It's decorated really cute right now for fall. Value for money is real good. The lady that does the marketing here was fantastic. She gave us a tour and talked us all about what to expect in an assisted living. It was great. There's a therapy company that has a gym in the facility, and they're fantastic.

I'm staying at The Waterford at Carpenter's Creek. One of my favorite people here is CJ. For the last year, I've been being taken care of. I live in the assisted living here. I've been here almost a year now. I had a fall and I broke my leg and they were trying to fix it, and CJ has just been really good to me. I like everybody here. They're all nice, and he's one of my favorites. I've got a one-bedroom apartment and I love it. It's great. I'm hoping someday to get well enough to go home, but right now I'm where I need to be and everybody has treated me good. The main thing I need is people that are nice to me. I don't want anybody to be mean to me, and they're not. The food is not very good. Sometimes, they'll bring me a piece of porkchop or a piece of meat, and I can't even bite it. It's so tough. They're just some of the stuff I don't care for, but that's normal. I'm kind of a picky eater, but I can't chew the meat when it's like that. Their activities are real good, but I'm mostly a stay in my room person. I don't like to play bingo and play games and all that. I just like to be home. They make spaghetti and meatballs and meatloaf, which are pretty good, but I don't like most of the stuff they make. The facility is great. I can't go down to church because of physical reasons. Other than that, I like everything about it being here. They're all kind of high priced, but value for money here is good. I like it. I looked at a few of the places and they're all higher than this one. I'm pretty happy here. They got a few things they need to do, but they're doing them. I need my floor fixed and they're going to do that.

After reviewing five locations in February 2020, Waterford at Carpenters’ Creek was the best location to fit the needs for care of our elderly mother and even seemed as more of a home away from home. We moved our mom in to the facility in May of 2020 at the onset of the Covid isolations. The staff at Waterford did an outstanding job of caring for her during that time and as the isolations relaxed the staff continued with outstanding care providing activities, physical and occupational therapy, and even an on-site salon for the residents. It is now 2022 and although we’ve seen a decline in our mother’s mental and physical condition from age the care and attentiveness of the staff has continued to be outstanding and has met her increased needs over time. The management staff has done a wonderful job in overseeing the needs of facility to ensure that the care is available at the level needed. Additionally, the nursing staff is quick to call if there is a medical concern that should be addressed or just to inform for situational awareness. The nursing staff, med techs, the general staff, and even the dining room and kitchen staff have become almost a part of the family when it comes to caring for our loved one. Waterford at Carpenters’ Creek is still the best choice and continues to be our recommendation for care of our mom.

Everything at The Waterford at Carpenter's Creek was very nice. The lady who gave us the tour was very helpful and just gave us a great tour. The place was laid out well. This looks like a good place. It's 30 years old, but it's well painted and well cared for. It had a nice view. Everything just seemed good about it. All the open doors we passed, people seemed happy. We looked at the dining area and they showed us the menus and the place, and it looked very clean.

My wife is at The Waterford at Carpenter's Creek. We chose them because they called me back. Everybody's been helpful. It's a decent place. The people there are very nice. She's pretty much confined to her bed. They have a dining area and a courtyard. They are pretty expensive, but all of them are. It looked pretty clean to me.

The Waterford at Carpenter's Creek was excellent. This was a place where residents could come and go from the front door because the door was not locked, unlike the other assisted living facility we visited. They probably locked it at a certain hour, but the front door was mostly unlocked and they could come and go as they please. It's one of the older properties and I can remember even going there touring the place when my father was still alive, and that goes back to the late 90s. They've kept it up and kept it clean, and I think it's a facility that I would move in also.

We went to see The Waterford at Carpenter's Creek, and my wife didn't like the bathrooms. They were very small. She couldn't fit her wheelchair into them. Having access to a bathroom is very important to my wife because she spends a lot of her time on the commode. The layout was nice and the room was nice, except the bathroom. The closet was also small. For activities, people can watch TV or play games.

I checked out The Waterford at Carpenter's Creek. It seemed dark, and it didn't seem clean to me so I checked them off pretty quick. I met one girl, she was very nice, and explained things to me, and I've no complaints about her. She did good, talked about what they did, and about their food situation and I like her. The apartment is small and dark. They had a patio where the people could go out. It was probably well maintained it's just the rugs were really used, it was dark, and I just didn't feel comfortable there.

The Waterford at Carpenter's Creek seemed nice, but they're going through some reconstruction and the floors were not leveled. That was the only thing I saw negative about it because my mother falls a lot. The staff was good, showed me everything, and took me around the different rooms, the dining room, the outside areas, courtyard, and recreation rooms. Some rooms had kitchenettes, and the cheaper room was just plain.

I like The Waterford at Carpenter's Creek. They've got a great bunch of people living here. I've got a studio, which is one room with a large closet and a shower. I have a small refrigerator and a small kitchen. It's nice for one person. They take us to our doctors' appointments on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and on Thursdays and Tuesdays, they go to different shopping centers. They have a laundry room there as well. The price is very high, but they're the cheapest and the best I found.

I toured the Waterford at Carpenter's Creek, and it was nice. The rooms were standard, smaller than I thought, but wheelchair accessible. They have a calendar board that they change every month. They have exercises, bingo, Wii bowling, a chapel, and ice cream socials. My mother moved there. I've met some really nice people there, but some were not so professional.

The Waterford At Carpenter's Creek was one of our favorite places among those we visited. The place was very friendly, and the rooms were smaller but still OK. We were very impressed with the staff, who were very professional. One disadvantage about the place was that they needed more parking spaces. They didn't have a pool but they had everything else like a library, a place to work out, great eating areas, a good walking trail, and a washer and dryer available for the residents.

I visited The Waterford. It had newer furniture in the dining room. The room was not furnished, but it had a refrigerator. It was a newer looking facility. I liked that how it was close to everything like the groceries and shopping. It was not very far from a hospital. You had to go to the dining room to get food. If you request to eat in your room, there is an extra charge.

Waterford at Carpenter’s Creek was a nice place. My impression initially was that it was clean, neat, and had a lot of nice, helpful people. They had their own rooms, and there was a small group to an area, so they could get the attention that was needed, too. Everybody together had the same dementia problem. The person who gave us the tour was very helpful and answered all of our questions very well. I was impressed.

The Waterford at Carpenter's Creek was a nice facility. The staff seemed very informative. We met the head of maintenance who showed us around and a couple of nurses. They all were very friendly and very helpful and the gentleman was very knowledgeable. It seemed very clean. They had a ton of activities. They have something going on every day like playing cards, bingo, and a trip to the mall. They serve all three meals.

The Waterford at Carpenter's Creek neglected to catch my mother's UTI which nearly killed her because she had renal failure and almost went septic. When my mom was there, she was independent, but mentally she started to slide, so I paid them an extra $500 a month for a personal caregiver to come and help her get dressed in the morning, help her with two showers a week, and help her get ready for bed at night because she has balance problems. They would forget to come and change her, so I have been fighting with the nursing director. I had 2 official meetings with her, and she promised that it's going to get fixed, but it never did. She would say "Let me know when they won't show up," and I did, but it never changed, and they're not doing what they're supposed to be doing. Point being, if the caregivers are getting her ready for bed, when they change my mom's diaper, they would have noticed the difference in smell. They didn't do their job, and I nearly lost my mom because of it. She had 3 UTIs while she was there, and this was the 4th one. She never had a UTI her entire life until she moved in there, so I would not recommend it to anybody. It was built like a hotel -- with 2 stories, long hallways, and only one elevator. My mother had to go at least 300 ft from her room just to get to the activity room where the elevator is. People sit in the dining room, and they call for help, but nobody comes. I have watched some of these people go down to the dining room to eat and then wait 45 minutes for a caregiver to come to take them back to their rooms because they're understaffed. It's ridiculous, and I'm just stunned that that place is still in business. The food there is very salty. I don't know where they get their dietary guidance from.

I was very pleased with The Waterford at Carpenter's Creek. The staff was very friendly. I looked at the one-bedroom and two-bedroom units, and I was very impressed. The dining area was beautiful. Everything was beautiful there because they were remodelling the place. They had a library and an exercise room. The living room was beautiful. What I really loved about it was that they have family night activities. They had beautiful places outside where you could just sit. They have exercise activities even for those who are not able to stand up.

I visited The Waterford and spoke to the director. It was very nice, but it was more than what we could afford to pay. I found the accommodations to be nice. I knew they said they had a workout place, but I was not able to check it out. I believe they had a barbershop, but that’s about it. I walked through the dining area, which was very nice. I do not have any issues with the facility and the staff. It was just too pricey.
