"I toured several AL homes for my grandmother and I must say this home is by far the best. The house is very spacious and clean. The residents are in shared rooms, however they have their own space to walk around they even have their own chair in the rooms. They are also provided with their own dressers to store their personal belongings. The owner is very Knowledgeable and caring for the residents. Its shows on the residents faces. When I did my tour the resident was at the table playing a game of bingo. This is more than an AL, the owner created a comfortable home for the residents."

"This facility is exceptionall! The staff works VERY close with us to ensure mom's care needs are handled. She wasn't very active, and veryy reluctant to transition into a facility. Now she's become a social butterfly! The place is beautiful, bright and ALWAYS CLEAN! Activities are always coordinated for Mom. The Nurses and therapist are very sweet. After 2 years, I'm happy to say we've made the right choice! "

"I went to Angel Core Home of Care. The common area was nice-sized and nicely furnished. The dining area was of pretty good size. The kitchen doesn't make much difference because she wouldn't be cooking. It had nice new flooring and the bedrooms were of good size for somebody who needs that and doesn't need all the dressers and bureaus. So, they were nice-sized and nicely furnished. It was a short tour just because it was a single house with a few bedrooms, but she was very forthcoming and very pleasant to work with and I sat there afterward and talked to her for 10 or 15 minutes about what I was looking for and what we needed. And, she said if I had any kind of problems or questions, to call her and she could give me some input on the three other places in the area."

"I toured the Heritage at Augsburg. I like the inside of the community. I met four staff members, and all of them were very courteous, kind, and professional. They walked me around, and they answered my questions. I was very happy with them. We looked at the cafeteria through the door, but we did not go in. They didn't offer any food, but they said they had a food plan. I think it's $350 a month for you to eat and use the cafeteria. Outside, the grass was well cut, and everything was clean. It was easy to park, and it was easy to find, too. The rooms were very clean. I used their restrooms twice, and they were very clean. The waiting room was quiet and neat. If you didn't have a mask for COVID, they had a whole box for you. The receptionist was very courteous. The tour guide was very friendly and helpful. They have a weight room, an auditorium, and a theater. The rooms looked nice. They're a good size. I was not able to look at a two-bedroom apartment, but they have a one-bedroom apartment."

"As a resident here for the last 4 months ,I have experienced nothing but kindness from the staff and residence here. I receive a written schedule every morning during breakfast with the daily activities that are planned for the day (which include but aren't limited to bingo arts and crafts and even movies that we all watch together). The meal menu is provided and prepared by an actual chef that keeps the meals flavorful and entertaining (there also substitutions made for dietary needs or if you just don't like what's on the menu that night). The nursing staff are knowledgeable and well-versed on conditions that I may need or require due to my medical needs and circumstances. The management staff are very quick to respond to any issues that may arise throughout the day and answer any questions that may come up."

"I'm on a waiting list for the Waterfalls of Catonsville. They're redoing a wing of the building. They were very welcoming and I like that it's more of a home feel of an environment. That's what a place where my mom used to live was like. It's a smaller facility and they only have a limited number of residents, so they can get more care. There were always people with the residents. Even if they were in their bedroom or if they were in the common areas, there was always someone with them. The facility was nice and clean and all the people were clean. The staff was very nice and very welcoming. The room was more like a small bedroom with a bed and a dresser. The room wasn't as large, but the common spaces were large. They were doing art when I was there. They had a courtyard and they do activities in the dining room when it's not dining time. It's more like a multipurpose room. It used to be an old mansion that they've turned into housing. There are no long walks. They back up to parks, so they can walk in the park. They back up to a wooded area. They had their own chef."

"This place is by far the best in Anna Arundel County. Around the clock care, a knowledgeable owner, and great meals. My aunts did respite care here and we ended up keeping her here. The owner and his staff went above and beyond to care for her until she passed. My family and I will be forever grateful for the care my aunt received. My aunt was bed bound ; the team frequently made sure she was turned and had creams applied. Her label drastically improved and she did well up until her passing, which she did at-home hospice care there. Thank you so much Utopia and Mr. Williams"

"I toured two Arden Courts facilities and looked at their memory care, and things look a little newer and a little more polished at Arden Courts of Pikesville. They also take their seniors on field trips. They don't really do field trips in the other facility because they bring people in instead. It has mixed levels of care, but they have completely separate buildings on the campus. In every other place I've toured, the managed memory care and assisted living were in the same building, typically, just on different floors. For this facility, they had completely separate buildings with completely separate staff, kitchens, and some separation of the grounds so folks could leave the building but still be within the boundary of safety."

"I went to look at The Hamlet at Queenstown. The facility was well-run. The staff was very courteous, friendly, and accommodating. The amenities and the facilities were very nice. If my mom only needed assisted living, it's a nice place. The kitchen was very clean. Nobody was expecting me to come, but the facility was extremely clean."

"I toured Regency Crest. The community seems to be very nice and well-secured. It's quiet. The lady who assisted me was very polite and very knowledgeable. The facility was in very good and excellent condition. The rooms were a little bit tighter than I had wanted because I knew some of my friends would not be able to get in there."

"My dad moved into Evergreens at Columbia Town Center. The facility is very well kept up. There are some younger, older people. Everyone's very friendly. There are lots of good common spaces and activities. There's a pool, a hot tub, and grounds outside for you to sit and hang out. There's also a grill, so there are things to do when people come to visit. The staff is fantastic so far. They are very responsive. There is no dining area. The community organized bingo nights. They have music, movies, and water aerobics. It was very reasonably priced. The other thing that's worth noting is that it's right in Columbia Town Center, so there's a lot of good stuff nearby and attractions."

"I went to see the assisted living facility of Sunrise of Severna Park. It has a very homey type of atmosphere. It's older, and the way that it's set up, even the furnishings are a little more contemporary. They're nice and traditional. It's very nice, especially for seniors who are just looking for a little comfortable environment. They also have a lot of activities, and a very nice staff. It's very clean, and the rooms are immaculate. They offer a lot of services, like laundry service. Of course, they have the dining area, and the menus seem to be very good and very healthy. They have a variety of types of menus that the residents can select from. They can select their own dinner choices, lunch choices, and everything. They have a lot to offer, and they do a lot more than some of the others, as far as getting the seniors involved."

"I will move into The Meadows of Reisterstown l & II. They had balconies, and I loved it. It was beautiful. They're a little bigger than the usual senior apartments, so it just seemed perfect. The kitchen was lovely. They supplied all the appliances. They did have some with bathtubs or showers. The one I saw had a bathtub, and that's fine with me. There's a little trail around the grounds of the apartment buildings, and just outside, there is a shopping center and supermarket. It seemed like the perfect little spot, and I loved the area. It's up there in Reisterstown, Maryland, but it's still perfect. It's quiet."

"This facility is a very caring facility. Soma, who is the nurse, cook, etc who takes care of my Dad, does an excellent job and Tim, the owner/director and Charilyn makes sure all residents stay healthy which I have been so thankful for."
