"My aunt is currently at Senior Paradise ALF. The community is beautiful, well-kept, and very clean. It's in immaculate condition. The staff are excellent. They're both very caring and very nurturing. They take them shopping and if they need to go anywhere. The dining area is very small, it's like a private house. So, it's a very homey atmosphere that you get. The dining area is very clean and family-oriented. My aunt is a vegetarian, so they make her special food."

"A friend and neighbor at our condo had her grandmother there. The people were very nice and friendly. We were very pleased with what we saw. They had card games there but that's probably not what my step mother would participate in because she's nearly blind and she can't really take part in those kinds of things. They have very nice rooms and apartments. "

"My husband moved in. It's a beautiful place and the people there are attentive. If you have any problems they get on it right away and then make sure that solves anything that goes on. It's a separate unit. It's memory care, a really big unit, and it has a lot of nice things in there. The girls there are nice. Everybody that works there is great. The food is wonderful. They do get people up in the morning, then they do projects with them or they do projects with the painting. They have a beautiful courtyard out there that they can go out and walk around. They have movies for them, people come in and sing with them, and they have an activities director who leads them. My husband has a whole room for himself with a bathroom attached. Then that's it. We have to supply everything else. They don't supply anything. It's just like you moved into a loft. They don't supply stuff. You have to bring whatever you need for your husband or your patient."

"It is very homey. It’s nicely furnished, the people are terrific, and the meals are good. It’s in a nice location, and it has a pool."

"I like the idea that Castlewood Assisted Living Residence is really sunny and bright with lots of light. I can be outside, and I'll be able to use my walker there. They serve three meals a day plus a snack. Somebody will help me do anything I need them to do, and I get to do my crochet. The staff that I saw over there seems to be really good. People are really friendly. They're real nice. They stopped and talked to me, and introduced themselves even before they knew I was going to be there. The room is big and there's lots of space. They told me I could bring anything I wanted as long as it was small. I don't know if they have anybody else with diabetes. I did ask if my diet would be considered and they said absolutely, they would make sure that I get what I need. The dining area is very spacious. It's got places where there are tables for four, and then there's another smaller dining area that has a bigger table where more people can sit, and they have some places where you can sit by yourself. There's a hair salon and a nail salon. I'm excited about the hair salon. I can have somebody wash my hair for me because I can't do it. The facility appears to be very clean. They were going from room to room to make the beds and stuff when we were there. It smelled clean, but it didn't have that bleach smell. I can't do the Clorox. I get a headache. I have asthma and bleach sets me off."

"I toured. The place is quite small, with a bedroom, living space, and kitchenette. Angela was amazing. We had such a nice conversation about her outlook on life, and she's very pleasant. She overshadows everything. The facility is clean."

"Brookdale Stuart was great. It was lovely. The management was great people. They gave me all the answers that I requested answers for. They were very courteous people. They called me with concern if I had made choices to pick another place. The apartments were beautiful and spacious. If I had the finances, I would have chosen them. It seems they have a great menu. I've seen the people that were there seem to be quite content."

"Symphony at Stuart has been fabulous. The staff is amazing. It's a small facility. My parents don't have to walk for miles to get to the dining room and all those kinds of things. The activities are all central, but they're not far. Both my parents have trouble walking too far, so it's a good fit for them. They have a two-bedroom, which is lovely. They've been able to make it their own with pictures and furniture and whatnot. Everything that's there is great. I can't say enough about the people. They are amazing. We had several meals while we were moving my parents in. The dining hall is lovely. The staff is wonderful. The food is amazing. You get a nice selection, so it's not boring. It's very good tasting. They have a chef. They can provide almost anything, and they're very keen on what people like. I could see them helping people that have been there a while, knowing them by name, knowing what they like and don't like. The facility is so clean and beautiful. You get two entree selections every night. There's also a menu that you can choose from at any time, like hamburgers and sandwiches and things. If you don't like what's on the menu, you can choose those. My dad loves the soup at lunchtime. It's his favorite thing. They love the breakfast. We had an amazing French toast. We did have breakfast, lunch, and dinner there, so we experienced each setting. It's also nice that they can go any time between 7:00 and 7:00. They don't have any set time that they have to be there for a meal, which my dad likes. They played bingo a few times a week. They have some art classes. They have a teacher that comes in and helps them with their artwork. I saw some of it sitting out and that was the memory care folks that did it. They have a library, a post office, and a meeting room. From where my dad's room is, to where the dining hall is, they pass by the facility where he can do physical therapy. Then there's the gym and then they go into the hall and in the hall is where they have the pub, the dining hall, the bingo, and they have a piano there. One of the residents plays almost daily. They also have live entertainment. When my husband and I were there on a Friday afternoon, we could hear the music playing, and the residents were all gathered around. The assisted living residents could order drinks if they wanted to, but they also brought the memory care patients out so they could enjoy the music, which I thought was pretty awesome. We met the sales staff and the move-in coordinator, and they were just amazing. We've already kind of built relationships with some of them. Just from them seeing us, they learned our names pretty quickly. They knew us by face when we came in there. When my parents first arrived, there was a big sign that said "Welcome" and they bought a welcome basket and they had things that both my parents liked. My stepmother likes creme brulee and the move-in coordinator was able to find pudding that was creme brulee flavored. She remembered that little detail from just one meeting, so it's pretty impressive."

"The Promenade is a great facility. My mom raves about the food and the staff is Beth kind. I visited her during the 4th of July and there was a huge party outside. The nurses are caring and she loves the jewelry making class. Thank you Promenade. "

"My mother has been in Academy Assisted Living Facility for four months now. It's clean, it's small, it's more family oriented. It is also more hands-on. There are plenty of activities here. They have bingo, an art class, movie time, and they also have a gentleman come in to sing for them. It's very, very active. She's got her own room and it's affordable. We didn't have to depend on the state, it was something that she is financially able to do on her own. "

"The Lynmoore at Lawnwood is nice; my sister moved in there. She plays bingo, does exercises, and learns how to crochet among other things. The staff is very pleasant and nice. The place is nice, big, and open, and has lots of amenities inside, like beauty parlors. They also take the residents to doctors in one of their buses."

"Staff was very friendly and treated the residents with respect. They provided meals all the time and they were very delicious. The business was a family owned business and the staff took pride in performing their duties. Facilities were very clean and rooms were maintained. I would recommend this place to anyone as the staff was beyond exceptional. "

"I visited this facility to look for a place for my aunt and fell in love with it for myself when I am of age. This Space is really polished, Clean and smells refreshing from the moment I walked in. You can tell the staff were passionate about the care of their residents and treated everyone that walked through the doors like family. We were also able to taste some of the food that was certainly cooked with love, it was very tasty! There was a nice size enclosed patio and activities such as miniature golf and a walking trail. I'm still touring others, but it's on the top of my list, even for myself."
