"I am working on getting my aunt out of there right now! This place is nasty: gnats flying, CNA's throwing clean linens over dirty ones on the patients, soiled briefs sitting outside the rooms. No dignity for the patient. Does not contact family of any changes in condition, incidents as in bruises, refusal of therapy. Not a pleasant or happy environment. Cannot get the nurses to explain health situations in person. "

"I have already done short-term rehab here in Laurel Pointe before, and they got me the farthest towards my goals. The rehab here is second to none. The facility is OK. It is a nursing home that has been converted from an old National Guard building. It is not fancy. The staff is great. They take care of my needs, they are very protective, they get me my meds on time, and they are very proactive. They used to have a two-star rating, but they had greatly, greatly improved. The care is excellent. "

"My father was an Alzheimer's patient at this facility recently and overall, I feel the experience was relatively good. My father could not speak or walk so he was totally dependent on the staff, including myself and my mother when we would visit several times a week. The facility appeared to be clean and the staff was pleasant. They would have scheduled daily activities for the patients if they chose to participate, and family lunches on special occasions, which I thought was nice. However, there were a few issues that were concerning such as the staff not seeming to care so much about the patient's daily food consumption and some of my father's clothing went missing even though his name was written in all of his clothes. In addition, there were days where my dad would have quite a few bruises on his legs from them moving him in and out of bed. All in all, I feel the facility did a pretty decent job of caring for their patients. "

"The staff of Palm Garden, like the directors and all that, are very attentive. Obviously because of COVID you can't go into the facility or see the facility. As for trying to get in touch with my mother, that was very difficult. The phone number that they said rang into her room didn't work. They said that they fixed it but they didn't. Not being able to reach her on a daily basis or talk to her was difficult. My mother felt like we just kind of dropped her off somewhere and left her there. I would say the care was very good. As for updates, I did not get them unless I called. So I had to call them to ask how things are going, what was happening and all that kind of stuff. Do they have time to call every single resident family member? I'm gonna go with no, but if they do say they have that plan, then they meet once a week to go over everybody's scheduled plan then email us. We have so much modern technology that it doesn't always require a cellphone to do that. I think that they could have updated a lot better than they did, but for care, it was good. She came home and she's able to do things on her own. I do have to compliment the dietician that does work there though because he took the time to email me the menu and to help pick out my mother's meals for her. From what I can see, the facility is clean. The front lobby has everything like the tables for COVID precautions. They did that very well. This place was covered by my mom's insurance so it was great."

"Tiffany Hall was pretty good. My wife has a lot of loss of memory, and they didn’t really have facilities to take good care of that problem. It was OK. There were a lot of people there. It would be good, but not for me. I wasn’t happy with what they had to offer for memory loss. "

"My friend is at Ardie R. Copas State Veteran's Nursing Home. I visit him every Sunday. It's only for veterans. It's very good. He is in a shared room. The rooms are huge, though. They might as well be private. They are separated by a partition. They have a movie room. Every Monday and Friday, they go out on field trips if they want to. He went to a baseball game this past week."

"My mother's experience at Grace Rehabilitation is very good. They have a lot of staff. They have a couple of dozen of people working there, and they are excellent. Her room is good. She has a room with somebody, and that is all she needs. The environment is very good. The residents look happy. "

"My husband has been T Waters Edge for the past 18 months- During this time we have dealt with medical issues that were quickly taken care of by the nursing staff, issues addressed by physical therapy and staff. Due to my husbands respiratory issues, they are addressed by the respiratory therapist- I’m so grateful she is there - we had been here 5 years ago and discharged home- this time it’s taken a bit longer to go home- still working on it! "I can't say enough good things about the care center, the staff, and the comprehensive programs they provide. My mom's first visit was for physical therapy after a hip replacement. She loved the staff and was released after a few weeks of therapy feeling like new. She is back in the center now in the early stages of dementia. And I'm delighted she's there. The staff is like family and genuinely cares about the patients. Mom has a spacious room, loves the food, and participates in a number of the social activities available to patients. The care center is completely cleaned every day. No offensive odors, etc . I've learned it is usual for patients fro other "fancier" local care centers to switch to this one due to the quality of care. I have great peace of mind knowing mom is good, loving hands at the facility."

"Although through unfortunate circumstances, I have had the blessing in the past 6 months of having the care of Atlantic Health Care for each of my parents. In November, each of my elderly parents had falls separately that landed them in rehab with overlapping dates. Not only was the staff at Atlantic healthcare genuinely concerned for them they showed compassion for the family for the fact that suddenly both parents were in that situation, one after the other. They both had wonderful care and were home in time for us to enjoy them at home for Christmas. Unfortunately, my father had another fall and further decline earlier this year. He has now been at Atlantic Healthcare for about 4 weeks. The staff there is so good to him and is much appreciated. My father has many detailed and specific needs and requires extra attention and time on the part of much of the staff. We, as a family, give kudos to the nurses that care for him with patience daily, the wound care nurse for assuring improvement on crucial concerns, the CNAs that meet his many specific needs with compassion and empathy and the dietician/dietary staff that work to meet his individual requirements and best they can. My father can not speak highly enough about his therapy experience and has improved from someone with whom we were unsure of spending many more days to a man who will likely return home and enjoy more life experiences with his bride of 65 years, which is a blessing to all of us children. We appreciate all that their care has offered for our parents. "

"My mother is in Solaris HealthCare Parkway. It's been good, I don't have any complaints. The staff is good, attentive, and they answer questions. You never feel anybody takes care of your parents or relatives as well as you can, but you know that they're the professionals, so you do what you have to do. The room is small, for short term it's OK, but if they're gonna be there long term, I don't think the rooms are big enough to give comfort to the residents/to be able to feel comfortable. It's just like a hospital room, two beds, just a little bit smaller than a hospital room. They do have a gameroom where they do bingo and activities like that."

"We sent my mother here for rehab after the hospital stay, she has Parkinsons and this facility specializes in a program, something called LSVT, that is specific rehab/recovery for folks with Parkinsons, strokes, nuerological issues, etc. They did a fantastic job getting my mother "back on her feet", the facility was beautiful, the staff were all friendly and the food was also very good.
