"I have already done short-term rehab here in Laurel Pointe before, and they got me the farthest towards my goals. The rehab here is second to none. The facility is OK. It is a nursing home that has been converted from an old National Guard building. It is not fancy. The staff is great. They take care of my needs, they are very protective, they get me my meds on time, and they are very proactive. They used to have a two-star rating, but they had greatly, greatly improved. The care is excellent. "

"I am working on getting my aunt out of there right now! This place is nasty: gnats flying, CNA's throwing clean linens over dirty ones on the patients, soiled briefs sitting outside the rooms. No dignity for the patient. Does not contact family of any changes in condition, incidents as in bruises, refusal of therapy. Not a pleasant or happy environment. Cannot get the nurses to explain health situations in person. "

"My mother had been in Port Saint Lucie Nursing last year. It was clean, and they had nice facilities for groups to meet, if you had a family came in. They were pretty attentive to my mother. She was in a basic two beds in a room with one bathroom and two or three chairs. The food was acceptable. They carried on activities for people who wanted to participate or get involved, and they were within the building. They kept people who wanted to be active, active. "

"PT works me hard to get me back home. Nurse Aly is great. Always there when I need her. Adrian the CNA and Kelly, my Guardian angel are amazing. They’re trying to work on the food. "

"I have the upmost respect for the staff at Palm Garden. They treat your loved ones like a member of their family. The place is clean, well-maintained, and the employees are kind, compassionate, helpful, and respectful to their patients, and guests. The Physical Therapy staff works diligently to improve one's mobility, and all challenges encountered by others with various physical rehab issues. Everyone at Palm Garden is working toward a common goal to provide the best care to their patients, and to do it with kindness, and compassion. Residents enjoy diverse stimulating activities whether they be outside trips, sing-a-longs, playing diverse games, or just relaxing and eating popcorn together, or enjoying the dining room experience. The grounds are lovely, and close to a nature park so there is a feeling of calm and peace when you take a stroll outside for a change of pace. It has been a wonderful experience to associate with people who really care--and that place is Palm Garden."

"Tiffany was more like a nursing home where they had to share a room with someone, and were in hospital beds. My girlfriend had her mother there for several years, but I just didn’t like the fact that my mother would have to be in a hospital bed. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful facility, and the people were very nice. My girlfriend absolutely loved it for her mother, but she did have a plan to go in everyday to get the laundry whereas they did the laundry where mother was. "

"The staff at Life care were open and caring. The meals are not like home but the kitchen staff goes out of the way for requests. The rehab team works everyday to keep the patient on track with their goals to go home. "

"My friend is at Ardie R. Copas State Veteran's Nursing Home. I visit him every Sunday. It's only for veterans. It's very good. He is in a shared room. The rooms are huge, though. They might as well be private. They are separated by a partition. They have a movie room. Every Monday and Friday, they go out on field trips if they want to. He went to a baseball game this past week."

"We put mom at Life Care Center down Florida for two weeks. I like everything about this facility. The care was great, the place was beautiful, and the nursing staff was wonderful. "

"I have been staying at Anchor Care and Rehab for years. You get decent care and they're trying to make the food as good as possible with what they got. Now, they got shipping problems, and the stores are empty, but they do the best they can. They're going to do some remodeling, the patio out front needs to be redone. I think they can improve on the internet because I have Netflix on my TV but like right now, I couldn't connect. A lot of times they have workers coming in from another company if they're short, but they don't work as well as the normal staff. We do bingo, and we go out to some restaurants, but the transportation is an issue. We used to use Space Coast buses, but we can't now because of COVID. They found a new company that just opened for transportation, and they said they'll do a five-mile radius because of the gas prices. We also watch movies, we have a guy coming in to play guitar on Saturday, and we have two ladies that come in for Bible study. Another gentleman might start giving guitar lessons, there's a Wii machine so we did bowling on that and we have Family Feud. So overall, they keep us busy. The rooms are too small. They have a courtyard out back and they have a patio out front."

In addition to my mother, I witnessed Glenda give the same excellent attention and kind consideration to all of the ladies in her care. Glenda is a wonderful caregiver, and very special lady!!!! "
