My father is a patient at Solaris and whenever I visit the facility to see him, he is well cared for, the facility is very clean with zero urine smell, and the staff is very friendly and takes good care of him. It is a hard job these medical service people have and I am grateful for such a nice and caring facility for my father.

My parent has been in the memory care unit of Solaris for over two years, and her care has been consistently subpar. The patients, many of whom suffer from dementia and other memory-related conditions, are left to wander the hallways unsupervised. They frequently enter and exit each other’s rooms at will, resulting in personal belongings going missing, sometimes on the very day they are brought in. Basic hygiene is neglected, as patients are not taken to the restroom after meals regularly and are often left sitting in their own waste. The food provided is of poor quality, with fresh, nutritious meals rarely served. Instead, they are given unhealthy snacks, such as cookies and cheese balls. Drinks are only offered during meal times, or snack time leaving patients without access to hydration throughout the day. The staffing situation is deeply concerning. Many of the CNAs seem indifferent to the well-being of the patients and are often seen on their phones instead of attending to their duties. When I visit, I frequently find my loved one in another room or bed, requiring me to search for her. I dread to think what the care is like during the night. There have also been outbreaks of scabies, which raises serious concerns about the hygiene and cleanliness of the facility. On multiple occasions, I have witnessed patients left unsupervised in the dining area for hours, during which time physical and emotional altercations between residents occurred without staff intervention. I genuinely question how this facility remains operational given the glaring issues in care and oversight.

My father is at Solaris HealthCare Parkway. It is a short-term facility for him to gain strength before he goes back to being alone in his apartment whether it be in assisted living or in this apartment that he was renting. They have physical therapy and occupational therapy available to him daily. They provide three meals. They have nursing care. They administer medicine to him. They look after him as well for whatever he is doing, whether they be down the hallway, walking the hallway, or in the rehab facility. They are keeping an eye on him. In the physical therapy room, they make sure he is participating in exercises, and he is moving around, so they keep an eye on him in that respect. Any time I need an answer, they are on point regarding my father. It is a decent facility. I think they're very good value.

My mother was at Solaris HealthCare Parkway. I liked that the staff was friendly, caring, and very helpful. They answered any questions we had. The facilities were pretty clean. It was all good. They had everything you needed. They have a salon, a TV room, a little library type area, and an outside garden.

I would not recommend this facility to anyone! My father was admitted for rehabilitation in early September and was healthy, mentally sharp and ended up dying 18 days later due to the lack of skilled nursing care, the mishandling of my fathers medications , the inability to read my fathers medical chart which indicated he was a diabetic and yet they served him food not for diabetics. He was transferred to the hospital as he needed medical attention, developed pneumonia and sepsis while under their care and died the following morning, had my mother and I known of his lack of attention during his stay, we never would have taken him to this facility and more than likely be alive today. All his family members lived into their late nineties.

My mother is in Solaris HealthCare Parkway. It's been good, I don't have any complaints. The staff is good, attentive, and they answer questions. You never feel anybody takes care of your parents or relatives as well as you can, but you know that they're the professionals, so you do what you have to do. The room is small, for short term it's OK, but if they're gonna be there long term, I don't think the rooms are big enough to give comfort to the residents/to be able to feel comfortable. It's just like a hospital room, two beds, just a little bit smaller than a hospital room. They do have a gameroom where they do bingo and activities like that.

Mom was here for nearly two years & I was proud to observe the caring nature of staff w/ The compassionate care was second to none. Btw I moved her from two previous nursing homes as I observed substandard care there. Thiscwss six years ago when it was Parkway.

My mother was at this facility for a little over a year, I had numerous issues with her care. They are understaffed and most of the employees are oblivious to healthcare issues. I was constantly having to go to the nurses to get my mother treated for wounds, leg swelling and other concerns. Last week my mother almost died there because she was left alone while choking, I came for a visit and within five minutes she had lost consciousness. Thank God she is now doing well but I have moved her to a different facility. As a nurse, I am appalled at the lack of care at this facility. I hope for the safety of their patients they have better training in place for the future.

My mom is currently in The Place. It's a nursing home and she's been there for about a month now. We personally chose this nursing home for her. The staff is very friendly and warm. They are very good with regards to taking care of mom. Very much dedicated. The Place is really beautiful and pleasant. I will definitely recommend this facility to others.
