"I don't think there was anything we didn't like about Oakmont of Montecito. We were very impressed with the facilities and very impressed with the staff. We have a friend who lives there, and we happened to look at it and see her at lunchtime. She was telling us that she enjoyed living there and that it was a great place. Mikayla was the senior marketing director who gave us the tour. She did a wonderful job. I love listening to her talk. The staff was very nice. Everybody was engaged, including the waiters in the dining room and the reception area. Then Mikayla showed us around. It's a very wonderful facility. The food was great. Everybody had already gone away because it was like 1:30, but they prepared a nice lunch for us in very generous portions. They tasted very good. My husband had a cheeseburger and I had some avocado tacos and iced tea. They offered us dessert, and we said no, thank you, but it was very well prepared, just the way we liked it. Everything was immaculate. We know they offer different exercise classes and they have a lot of game rooms. They play bingo, poker, bridge, and all kinds of different activities for the residents. We saw a poker game as we were walking by the room where they were playing."

"I toured Ivy Park at Walnut Creek, and it's clean. The staff was friendly, and I liked the programs that engaged the residents. I can't find anything negative about the place. When I signed up for a tour and went at the appointed time, I saw my name in front of the entrance. I was impressed, and it's very welcoming."

"Atria Walnut Creek is right across the parking lot from the nursing home where my husband is. I'm independent and I'm staying in a respite suite. My living space is very nice and very spacious. And because it's a respite apartment, it's very nicely furnished with everything you need. The food is good. I'm not doing the activities here because I'm spending a lot of time at the nursing home with my husband. But the building is very clean, and things are well cared for. The staff is very friendly. They make you feel welcome. I don't have anything to compare it to, but where I'm staying, it's actually cheaper than if I were in a hotel."

"I toured Atria Park of Lafayette. It's a very attractive and well-maintained facility. It looked very colorful and was not as tightly laid out as other facilities. It was spread out and easy to tour. It's a very warm environment. They have a beauty salon, haircutting facilities, and a small exercise facility. It was not a very large area, but sometimes, they brought in assistance to help people work out in the facility if they wished. The staff was very nice, and they took their time and told me how everything was handled, including whether you could do your laundry yourself or have it done for you and how often the housekeeping came, so that was all explained to me. It was a clean place, and there was a nice dining area as well. They also have a small dining area you could bring your family to if you want to invite them."

"My mom moved into TreVista at Antioch. It's beautiful. She has a studio apartment. I've been working with Teresa for nearly a year, going through all the paperwork. She was amazing. Then, after moving in and meeting Alberto, the executive director, and the entire staff, I can't tell how impressed I was. They're very warm and caring, including the residents. I mean, they welcomed my mom. She's so happy. They have several programs. They have all kinds of work, chair exercises, and an hourly list of things they do there, up to evening movies. The food was very good, and the wait staff, when they're seated at the table, is really sweet. I had a sister come and help me move her in, and she was also very impressed."

They have a staff that is very pleasant to work with and treats their clientele very nicely. I'm satisfied with it as my mom has been receiving very good service. The staff have been brilliant. She seems to be enjoying the food there, too, so it's probably good. The facility itself also seems very nice and very clean."

"Brookdale San Ramon is a very beautiful environment. You are surrounded by nature. It's like you're on your vacation. I like the environment, and I think their garden is beautiful. I think it will be very pleasant if you go outside to sit in the garden. The interior is also very beautiful, very wide, and very high. I saw old ladies coming out, and they were neat and very clean to me. That's my overall impression. It is so peaceful and quiet, and I would love to live there in my old age. I love the staff who helped me. They're nice and pleasant. Their calendars mentioned a lot of activities, but I didn't see a lot of people outside, except for two to five old ladies hanging out. It seems that everybody is staying in their room, so that's an impression on me. The common areas are very good and very beautiful. It's very clean."

We toured and we had been there before because I live nearby, but it was like five or six, seven years ago, and now it's been re-purchased or they've remodeled some of the rooms. The tour was great. And. It's a very nice facility. The rooms are spacious and they have beautiful views either of the bay or of trees. It's very calming. The rooms are modern. They're nice. And I think my mom would have liked it if it offered better weather."

"I want to recognize the exceptional service at Cogir Vallejo Hills under Susan's leadership. After a measurement mistake with my storage shelving, Denice from management immediately assured me, "Misako, don't worry. We will take care of it." She coordinated with Albert from maintenance to re-measure, return incorrect shelves, and install proper ones. Having moved to Cogir Vallejo Hills five months ago, this experience confirmed I made the right choice. In any organization, mistakes happen—we're all human. What truly matters is how those issues are handled. Susan's team demonstrated exceptional care, compassion, and efficiency throughout this situation. I'm grateful to Susan, Denice, Albert, and the entire team for their dedication to resident satisfaction. This attentive service creates a community where residents feel valued and heard. m.m."

They have all the meals, medicine, take care of medicine, and all the nursing. Everybody is really nice. They do housekeeping, laundry, everything. They have restaurant-style dining with different options every day. We haven't done any of them, but they have a big list of activities, quite a bit of activities every day, and they change often. They do movies, games, and trips to like a casino and to a museum, and things like that. They also take you to your doctors' appointments."

"I toured Emerald Valley. It's $10000 for the two-bedroom. It's a decorated and luxurious environment. I like it, but I can't afford it. It's a very convenient area, which is a huge difference from the one in San Ramon. It's very easy to go to all kinds of outside environments, and traffic-wise, it is a more convenient location. The lady who introduced me is very good. She did her job very well. The place is like a five-star hotel. It's very bright and very new. The room is very beautiful and better than the other places. "I toured the Oakmont of Mariner Point. It's beautiful and in a beautiful neighborhood, overlooking the water. I'm not choosing it because they don't have enough level of care. Janet and Charles are great. They gave a gift bag like a box of cookies but no sampling of meals. They didn't even show me rooms. I only talked to them and the dining room, they didn't show me. Maybe there wasn't a room that was clean at that moment. I don't know. I don't care, I didn't need to see the room because I knew it wasn't appropriate."
