"Walnut Creek Care Home seemed nice. The staff was nice, too. My sister will have her own room with a wall and a sliding door to the outside. It's small, but it's a nice room and they allow cats. They only have six beds, so they don't have a lot of activities. Cleanliness seemed OK."

"My mother lives here. She has been there for two years. From my interactions when I visited there, the staff all seem competent and friendly. They are good. There are different floor plans depending upon the need. My mom has a two-bedroom place, and it is more than adequate from a space perspective. When I have eaten there, the dining was fine. I was there one New Year's Eve, and there was a nice New Year's Eve celebration. It was good, and I think it was enjoyed by the residents, so there are special activities and trips to the local casinos, and I know a number of residents participated in them. "

"Oakmont of Concord was very nice and very clean. The person during the tour was nice, answered all our questions, and was very helpful. The rooms were nice, but they weren't furnished. You had to supply your own bed and dresser. I did not eat there, but they showed the dining room to us and it looked very clean."

"Welcome Home Senior Residence - Concord II is a locked facility with bells on the doors and a secure backyard. It only has six beds, and there are two people on duty at all times. They prepare three meals a day and do all the laundry. They charge extra for Comcast and other fees, like if you need extra care. My sister's room has a bed, a nightstand, and a nice little closet. It also has a dresser, her own bathroom with a shower, and a big, sliding door that goes out to the backyard, which I find to be very nice. I had lunch there and ate a sandwich, salad, cookies, and a glass of milk. There aren't a lot of activities, but there is a large TV in the living room and nice, reclining furniture. There is also a TV in her room. The caregivers are very interactive and very nice. "

"I chose Welcome Home in Walnut Creek for mother, but she hasn't been there long. She said she liked the food. They had people come in to play music, maybe a guitar, and I believe I saw some people playing Bingo and puzzles. Her room was fully furnished and small, but nice. "

"I've only visited one and have pretty much chosen Westmont of Brentwood. Their apartments seemed really nice and larger than I expected. The few people that I talked to seemed to be very happy. Their services were pretty much like everybody else's, so it will be fine. I'll only be 10 minutes away from my son and daughter-in-law, which was one of the main reasons I picked it. "

"The staff at Chateau III was very nice. It was a very positive experience. The people we interacted with were extremely helpful, friendly, and seemed to genuinely care about the residents. We really liked very much the feel and atmosphere of the memory care community. There were a lot of activities scheduled. There was a lot of energy going on when we visited. The rooms were sufficient, clean, and well kept. The residents seemed very happy and engaged. We saw their dining area and some of the residents were eating while we were there. The food looked appetizing. What really impressed us was the level of activities that they had available every day and just the positive energy. It felt lively, and we really liked that. "
