I am putting my dad at Fam Care Homes in January. It looked like a nice place. We chose this because of its small capacity, only up to six, and it is centrally located for all of us. The person who came out to evaluate dad seemed like a nice person. They have laundry service, they offer three meals and two snacks, they say they do massages, grooming and dressing, and helping with bathing and toileting. They also do medication management, housekeeping, transportation to medical and dental appointments, monitoring physical and cognitive activities, walking exercise, programs for socialization, recreational activities and games, special diets and dialysis, and residents companionship to do shopping and field trips. We were talking to the administrator, and the staff was attending to the residents and helping with the breakfast orders. It was very clean. We visited early in the morning, and they were just sitting there having breakfast. I did not see any amenities because the administrator just came in with paperworks. I liked the way it looked.
