My dad was in rehab at Wilora Lake Healthcare Center. I will not give them a very good review at all. During his stay, he fell so we had to take him to the ER. He hit his head and had a laceration. They discharged him after 20 days. While he was at Wilora Lake Healthcare Center, we went a few times, and they had not changed him. He had a dirty diaper. After he fell, there was blood all over his clothes, and the next morning, he still had the same clothes on, and his hair was never washed. They said they would provide rehab for one month after discharge, but we have not heard back. I had called them several times. Their voicemail was full, and I couldn't get anybody to call me back. I won't be giving them a good review whatsoever. My dad was there for 20 days. It was clean. It did not smell bad or anything. It's just there's no communication. Everybody was very nice. But the communication part was horrible. My dad's room was fine. It was outdated, but it was kept clean. With regards to food, my dad was more on a special diet because he's got dementia. But just about the entire stay, he would not touch his food. We would go and visit, and his food would just still fit in there. So we started bringing in the boost supplement and stuff that he would eat. Also if he refused to go to rehab, they didn't push him, they just let him sleep. The building itself was clean, but it needed to be updated. We were all very displeased with it.

My family member has a been a resident of this facility for several years. There have been several incidents where my family member's property (clothing, personal food items, money) has been lost, damaged, destroyed or even stolen. No staff or leadership takes ownership of property that isn't cared for, and my family has to buy more clothing, food, and property repeatedly. Today we found my family members family portrait out of the frame and ripped apart. This is a picture and memory that we cannot replace. It is heartbreaking and we continue to lose trust in this organization.

It’s facility is terrible... HORRIBLE!!! I will never recommend this place my aunt is a resident here and I feel bad for her ... she is there for building her strength and knowledge and no one is helping . She’s been in her bed all day and sitting in pee for over an hour... her hall (200’s) smell like old cat pee. When asked for her to be changed the lady pushed us out into the hall and started to talk to my aunt in a very rude way which was uncomfortable! Any time we asked questioned she said no one could get information but my gr andma her sister or they didn’t know ask someone else !!! I’m very upset and I feel bad for those there ... she can barley move or talk I’m transferring her soon if I can but this place should be shut down !!! The staff are terrible and she only ate 40% today and that’s fluids like this place is terrible I wish I could rate them lower than a 1 star

They were OK at Wilora Lake Healthcare Center. I think my mother-in-law got pretty good care. They just had rooms that were pretty tight and were all semi-private. The location was fine; it was just right down the hill from where my father-in-law was, so that made it convenient. It needed a lot of upgrading.

I had a terrible experience from my short stay at wilora from the Doctors to some of the nurses with not getting the right meds to paper work being falsified for treatment that I didn't receive if I wasn't in my right state of mind and didn't have common knowledge of the healthcare and patients rights my health would have went down hill thank God that I did and had support from my family & Friends that checked on me on a daily bases I do not recommend this place to anyone but I do give Thanks to the few loving nurses and CNA's they do have if you do have a family member or friend there please keep checking on them

When I visited my friend in this facility, I was very disappointed and saddened to see her residing in a place that looked like a large trailer. Less than one year she requested to be transferred to another care center.

I visited this facility while a client was staying there following a hospitalization. The purpose of her stay was short term rehab. The facility is neat, clean, and odor free. Staff seem friendly and the physical therapy staff in particular were very helpful during my client's stay. My client enjoyed a few of the scheduled activities during her visit and stated the meals were also good. I visited her twice in the dining hall and it was always neat, clean, and free from any foul odors. I would like to say that I would recommend this facility to others however, one major concern did come up during my clients stay that would keep me from doing so. She got a particularly bad pressure sore and stated that she believed it was from sitting in soiled clothing for too long. I asked the nursing staff about the sore but they were not nearly as concerned about it as I believe they should have been - and I didn't feel that it was being adequately cared for in order to foster quick healing. Ultimately my client did heal, and she did return home, but the sore was of great concern to me and because of that, I do not feel I can recommend this facility.
