"It's a very, very nice Baptist retirement community and it's what I'm looking for. It seemed to be very warm and friendly atmosphere. You don't really know until you've live there, but they're very clean, it seems to be very well run, and down to earth. There's not a lot of height associated with it. I'm really looking forward to going there and I'm really excited to be going back to my family. "

She offered help and assistance, so kind...I truly appreciate everything she did. Give this girl a raise!!! "

"My mom stayed at The Oaks at Town Center for eleven days. The facility is very nice, it's very clean, and it doesn't smell like a nursing facility, it smells good. The staff is wonderful, but it's a bit light particularly overnight at the moment because I think it depends on how many residents they have, it's how many staff they have, so they were a bit slow in responding in a way that would keep my mother safe. The second night she was there, she fell and bruised her hip. So, we had to bring in caregivers to watch her. They were a little bit poor on safety, but nothing that they had any control over. It's the nature of a nursing facility. You're not going to have super attentive care like you would in your home. That's why we brought mom home and got full-time care. But the facility does the best they can do; let me put it that way. Their rooms were very nice. They offered a lot of activities, the food was very good, and they have outstanding therapists. Their physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy are outstanding. "

"The staff was very friendly and appeared to genuinely care about the residents. They are very patient people and are prompt at meeting residents' needs. The facility is kept clean. I feel I can trust Britthaven of Charlotte with the care of my relative. The residents seem very happy and are not left alone. They have access to a social life and appear to be very comfortable at Britthaven. The quality of food is generally good and I have never heard my aunt complain about it. Overall Britthaven of Charlotte is a good nursing home and I would recommend it to anyone in the area. "

"I always know about Huntersville Oaks as I live close to it. The staff was very friendly, efficient and everything about it was positive. The rooms were very large, efficient and clean. The food was very good and the dining room was very spacious and very nice. They have games and movies. I think they must improve on getting to the rooms quicker when the patient needs help -- however the place was secured and safe enough. "

"I have been here at Hunter Woods for over 1 year. The staff is good to me and I have made friends. I participate in activities but there could be more offered but for a nursing home it is a nice place to me."

"The rooms are older but kept clean. The floors are swept and mopped daily. The staff are very friendly and up beat. My Mom really enjoy the games and exercises. She loves getting her hair washed and styled. "

"My brother is at Clear Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The staff seems nice, friendly, and helpful. They have a pretty good rapport with the people there. You don't have that typical overpowering nursing home smell when you walk in. They keep it clean. They had a Halloween party and early Thanksgiving supper a couple of weeks ago. They play bingo every week and there are other activities as well."

"I was there for REHAB. Rooms were very clean. Staff was great and helped so much to make my stay better. The Physical and Occupational Therapists were the best! The Nurse and CNA’s were so positive and helpful. I would highly recommend Liberty Commons for Rehabilitation. Thanks to all the ladies in Rehab, My favorite CNA’s Mecca and Jaime and Nurse Christina. Others but not enough room to name. Thank you!"

"My mom is at Autumn Care. They're very attentive to their clients. My mom is in a room by herself. It has its own bathroom with a walk-in shower. They have a really nice physical therapy room, a salon, and several living rooms where families can gather in very large spaces. They have one room up front that has a baby grand piano. From time to time, families go in there and can play. The staff is very good."

"My father is in Huntersville Health & Rehabilitation Center for rehab. It's a good place. He had been there before and the staff makes sure that all our wishes are met. They have different things going on. I like the food there. The value is 100% because they're taking good care of him. The location is great."

"My husband is a resident of Olde Knox Commons. The people there are wonderful, it's very clean, and there's no bad odor. The staff takes care of the people, they seem interested in them, and they provided stuff for them to do. His room is a double room and they keep it very nice, although they also have single rooms. Some of the activities include bingo, games, exercise times, bible study, they have animals that go around -- which is really cute -- and so on. There's also a rehab room, and a courtyard that the seniors can go out to. The meals my husband eats are good, and they also give him supplements since he doesn't eat a lot. Overall, the pricing is comparable."

"The Director of this Facility was wonderful to work with. My mother was in need of rehab after being hospitalized for an extended period of time. Lynn Napoli answered all of our questions and put our concerns at ease as we went through the process of admission. Although my mother was never admitted to the facility due to her need for further medical care, our family appreciated Lynn's caring attitude and helpfulness tremendously. "
