The Oaks at Town Center

My mom is currently at Pruitt Health, that use to be The Oaks. She gets excellent care and the food is very good. The place is very clean and I would highly recommend. I am hoping they are able to keep her longer as her health is declining and it is such a caring staff.

My mother has been in rehab at The Oaks for about a month. It was very clean and very attractive. The staff was attentive. There were two-person rooms, but they were large enough to accommodate two patients and visitors. The dining room was setup very nice. My mother didn't get involved in too many activities, but they did have a lot of varied activities from crafts to bingo to church services. There were patients that actually live there.

This is a really poor facility.Guess the hospital spoiled me. I waited 2 hrs for pain medicine and a drink of water and to go on the potty chair. Wish I could have stayed in the hospital!

My mom stayed at The Oaks at Town Center for eleven days. The facility is very nice, it's very clean, and it doesn't smell like a nursing facility, it smells good. The staff is wonderful, but it's a bit light particularly overnight at the moment because I think it depends on how many residents they have, it's how many staff they have, so they were a bit slow in responding in a way that would keep my mother safe. The second night she was there, she fell and bruised her hip. So, we had to bring in caregivers to watch her. They were a little bit poor on safety, but nothing that they had any control over. It's the nature of a nursing facility. You're not going to have super attentive care like you would in your home. That's why we brought mom home and got full-time care. But the facility does the best they can do; let me put it that way. Their rooms were very nice. They offered a lot of activities, the food was very good, and they have outstanding therapists. Their physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy are outstanding.

My parent right now is in a rehab center at The Oaks at Town Center. She is still in therapy there. She is on Medicaid. They have a section that is for rehab patients. She has been there on and off for several years now. Right now, she has been there since May 8th. It is a beautiful place. They got it set up as far as like a home environment. It's beautifully decorated. They are one of the best therapy places that I know. The staff is great. They have the best therapists there. They also have most equipment that should be available today. Food is also good.

The staff are friendly and welcoming. The facility is well designed and inviting to visitors. The architecture and layout are comforting for those residing there.
