"We liked pretty much everything about our tour of The Blake at Baxter Village. We like the way it looks, the program, the atmosphere, the age of the people, and the services that they offer. It seems to be a well-run place, and a well-put together place. It will serve my mother and what her needs are now. I was able to meet with the director who was very thorough on what she did. From what I viewed and saw, the facility had a lot of things that they could offer the people. I also looked in the room, they had a salon, they had a courtyard, an art room, and a movie theater."

"I am a resident Chandler PLace. The people I've met are very nice, it seems like everyone gets along, they put puzzles together at the halls, and we get 3 meals a day. The food has been good, I don't have anything bad to say right now, and you can bring your pet. I wish they would give everybody name tags, because you cannot remember everybody's names. If you want them to fix something, they usually do it right away, and so far I'm happy with that. They have transportation to take you to the grocery store, shopping, and to eat. I would recommend them. The staff I've met have been very friendly. When I came here I thought the food was better than lately, and they're short of staff at the dining area. We got new management though, and the food may get better. They have crafts, they just had a big sale, they played bingo, and so they have a lot of activities. They do have someone that cleans your room, change your sheets, vacuums, and cleans the bathroom. I love my room, it's freshly painted, the carpet is clean, and the maintenance is good."

"The Gables at Druid Hills was nicer and newer. The rooms were very spacious. They had more modern appliances including black kitchen appliances. The two-bedroom apartment that I saw was really pretty. It had big bedrooms and a big bath -- it was just really nice. There is nothing bad I could say about it. "

The apartments are very nice, very spacious, and the grounds are beautiful. I've been there many times, I like that they have an indoor pool, and I saw them do water aerobics. They have standalone cottages, which is what we want. They have about 4 different floor plans but the cottage floor plan which they have the most of is exactly what we want. It's about 2,000 square feet. They have a pool and all kinds of amenities too. We have had a couple of meals there and their food is excellent. It's like a 5-star restaurant."
