"Southland is very nice; we liked that one. It was nice and clean with good rooms. The lady that I talked to was very knowledgeable and gave me all the information that I needed. They had several activities. They had TV rooms, they had people that would come in that would give them different amusements, and they have a gym room. They have a monthly calendar of activities. The menus that we saw seemed very good. I would absolutely recommend this place to others. "

"Aum Haven Assisted Living Facility was very, very nice. It was a house made into a facility. It had all of the ADA accommodations and it was well-kept. I had a lot of good feedback from the residents when I asked about how they were being taken care of. The staff was nice and very helpful. They would provide meals 3 times a day and they had 24/7 staffing."

"The other places we visited were OK, but The Manor at Lake Morton was a little quainter, a little more private, there were less people, and it was a lot cleaner. You don't smell urine when you walk in. It's beautiful, and the people are extraordinarily nice. My father-in-law was in the hospital for two weeks and they visited him and played cards with him while he was there. They go the extra mile. He likes the food. The lunch, dinner, and snacks are fine. They have great activities for them. They feed the ducks across the street, they play bingo, do puzzles, and there's movie nights. They have activities all the time for them, even on Sundays. The staff is awesome. The rooms are super clean and the customer service is great."

"I toured Lake Morton Senior Living. I ate a lot there and the food was excellent. Everybody I've met in the hallways, everybody spoke just wanted to know when we would come and live there. It was nice, really welcoming. The facility was very clean and orderly. It was neat and nice. The staff and everybody were excellent."

"We toured The Courtyard at Granada. We talked to the manager and my mother has needs that they're not licensed for. The facility was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was very well kept."

"We're looking at moving mom to Ansley Parke at Oakbridge. The staff was very friendly. The food smelled very good. The accommodations were upgraded and renovated recently and clean. They have lots of activities for the residents and the price was good. We toured the one-bedroom, but we are going to go with a studio. They go up to a two-bedroom. They had several little dining areas, and a movie theater, and they do nails and bingo and different activities. They have a whole activity board. They do a once-a-week trip on a bus to shopping and dining excursion. They have a hair salon for an extra charge. They have walking paths outside."

"We had a good tour at Osprey Manor. We met some of the residents there and they seemed very engaged and happy. The rooms were clean. The lobby area was clean. They had an elevator, and they had a lot of amenities to offer. We really liked the way that the meals were handled, how it felt almost like a restaurant rather than like cafeteria-style. Most of the residents choose to just order their dinner and pick it up and take it back to their rooms rather than dining in in the evenings. The staff was very helpful while we were there. However, they didn't get back to us and kind of left us hanging. I felt like they were really pushing us towards the studio apartment because that's what they had open. They did their job, they just didn't go above and beyond."

"We visited the Sunburst Community ALF while looking for a place for my mom. We were assisted by Danielle, who was very helpful and welcoming. She was very flexible with my work schedule and let us tour the facility at our convenience. She was very attentive, compassionate, kind, and willing to help and accommodate to my mom´s needs. I have to say the place was spotless, the rooms are pretty, the staff is very friendly, and the residents were looking happy. I have toured at least 8 places in the area, and I was very impress by this one. I highly recommend this community."

"My mother-in-law is going here. The tour went wonderfully. I toured it myself several weeks ago with the intake specialist. The place was just bright, cheery, and clean. They have all kinds of activities there. They have a huge library and an ice cream shop. It's well above anything that we looked at. They also have several common coffee areas where you can have coffee or read a book or whatever. They have a game room, a crafts room, a physical therapy room, and a beautiful courtyard. The units have balconies, which is nice. They're wonderful people, too. The place was spotless. Everyone that was there seemed to be very happy."

"My parents love Windsor at Celebration. They're brand new, they're on Disney property, so Disney has to approve everything that they do from landscaping, to food service, and pricing. They travel out every day to a shopping and social venue, they have three movies a day, and they do as many activities as you do on a cruise ship, but you don't go anywhere. The food is fabulous and the staff is phenomenal, so it's a great place for my parents. The place has everything and more, so it's really amazing."

"We already found a place for my stepmother and that's Gentle Shepherd Assisted Living Facility. It is close to where I live. It is a very clean facility and the room that she is in is very good. I'm very happy with it. She is 92 years old, and unfortunately, she is not very happy there because she wants to be on her own in her own house. That's the only problem we have. However, Gentle Shepherd takes care of her very well. The staff is also very friendly. Of course, I visited her at least four to five times a week. Hopefully, little by little she will get used to it. "

"The Palms at Sebring is a terrific community. They are very friendly and very helpful with anything that you need to do. I know people in the assisted living seem to be very happy. There is assisted living here as well as independent living, and they're in the same building. They also have a couple of other buildings that have independent living. They walk over here, and have dinner and stuff, and come to some of the activities. I have a one-bedroom. It's fairly huge and very convenient. It has a stove and an oven, so you can cook if you want. If you don't want, they have a beautiful restaurant downstairs that gives you three meals a day, and it's terrific. They have good food. They also have a beauty shop on the property. They have activities and things like that. I have not been able to join them yet, but I will. So, they have all kinds of things that they'll come up with to entertain and get people communicating together and stuff. They have a library and an area for sitting. They have a dining hall separate from the other library-type facility. Nurses are not intrusive. They don't show themselves unless you actually need 24/7 care. This is the place where you can go from totally independent care all the way to end of life."

"Our tour experience with Water Edge of Lake Wales was very good. They explained the place to me very well. I saw a studio apartment with a kitchenette that was unfurnished. So, you have to furnish it. The amenities were great. They had a library, a hobby shop, and the place was very clean. It was like a luxury hotel."
