I had lived at Country Lane. The food was fine, but it was optional. It did not come with the rent. They did have cafeteria style. There is no assisted living. It is strictly for people who would like to go to retirement community and preferably one that is inexpensive that they can afford. They did have a big schedule of activities everyday of the week. The staff that I had been acquainted with this facility when I was there was very friendly, very cooperative and very prompt in any request. If you're not feeling well, you can contact the cafeteria, and for an additional charge, they will bring the food to your apartment. They have all kinds of games. They have billiard pool, shuffle board, bingo, Bible classes, and book discussions. There is something going on all the time. This facility is very clean. There is a door to the trash service. All of the buildings have elevators. It was a very wholesome, family-type of place. It was very updated and very well maintained. It felt very safe there. They have bus service and their own movie theater. There was no charge for any of these, but if you choose to eat there in their dining room, you do pay separately for that.

Country Lane has everything that I needed. They have a medical personnel staff, a beauty shop, swimming pool, dances, and a full theatre. Everything is flawless in this facility. The first time I was in this facility, it was the place that I wanted to be.

I live here and I am quite unhappy. The property is Old and quite well maintained outwardly inside not so much. The floor plans are not well thought out and the chosen colors first viewed upon entry are dark and drab. Most recently, I came home to a more than 4 foot snake in my apartment sure I feel safe not.

I am living in Country Lane. The grounds are well taken care of. The residents are doing great. We are pretty secure around here. I am pretty much comfortable here. I lived on the third floor in a one-bedroom apartment and it needs a ceiling work because it is leaking. They check the roof to find out where the leak is coming from and they schedule to repair it. They have a cook that comes in and prepare lunch. They have a church. They have activities like bingo, they show movies and they have entertainment too.

It was a nice facility and I love Country Lane for her. Her bedroom was fine. Her living room and the kitchen is spacious enough. Everything is suitable. I'm glad that she loves the place. My sister is very picky, but she did tell me that the food is very good.

Country Lane is an excellent assisted living facilities for the middle class family that can't afford an around the clock nurse. The facility supplies tenets with various day and night time activities to socialize. There was something for every hobby; plenty of games, clubs, library and even a workout building. Every weekend the exceptional staff played movies requested by the tenets. Country Lane would supply tenets with transportation to doctor appointments, local shopping facilities or immersing them in the culture. During the blistering summer heat in north Texas the facility offered a refreshing pool. Although the food was far from decent the friendly staff more than made up for it. If any request was made they would go beyond their job requirements to satisfy the requester. I can honestly say I have no complaints once so ever, even after speaking with my family nobody can find a single fault with the staff, the activates provided or the facility over all.
