We came from Brooklyn, New York, and my sister was in an assisted living here in Long Island, and we wanted to find something that was comparable to the care that she had over there and Village on the Park McKinney fits the bill. Also, it got very high reviews. She has a beautiful bedroom, a beautiful living room, and a bathroom. She doesn't have a kitchen because she doesn't cook. My sister likes the food. They have a lot of things going but my sister is just not able to do anything. The staff is wonderful. They're very caring, very attentive, and they're very into what you have to say, like the care that you want for your family or friend. The facilities are immaculate. It's going to be expensive but it's worth it because if you pay for better care, the better off you are. That's how I look at it.

I had an in-person tour. The staff that I spoke with was very helpful in trying to find a solution for us. The apartments were very good-sized. If I end up moving my parents to assisted living, this is probably the facility that we will use. It's a little bit farther away from me. I wanted them a little bit closer. The facility was very clean and looked very nice.
