There is no other assisted-living that I could find that has all carrying help, good food, clean place and they become family. I drive over 100 mile round-trip because it is the best. Comparable to others they are more than a five star!

Hands down one of the best places I have come across. Good help is hard to find, but we have found it in Waterford Oaks. When it got too tough to keep our loved one in the home due to the extensive 24/7 care necessary, Trina's team provided us with the reliable care we needed. The staff is caring and helpful and when we need something, all we have to do is ask. It's truly a team effort that makes a difference. Our loved one has her own room with the opportunity to participate in activities throughout the week. The meals are healthy. This is a small, but mighty setting that we appreciate.

This is a well kept building. The staff are kind and the food is good. Today they were doing crafts in the dining room, which my mother enjoyed. I have visited many other facilities and even worked at a few, but Waterford Oaks Senior Care is definitely above average.

We chose Waterford Oaks Senior Care for my dad because it's two blocks from my house. He's in memory care. They're having trouble getting his medications on time and he's not allowed to go outside. I like the location the best. The least I like is medication distribution. The staff is very friendly. From what my father has explained to me, he likes the food. They have music on Fridays and brain activities. Every day is a different activity on the calendar, but he's in memory care, so the activities consist of bouncing a balloon to keep it off the grounds because a lot of them are wheelchair-bound. It's a small 20-person building, so the dining room is small and the living room is small. The living room would only hold maybe 10 of those people at a time. They couldn't all fit there together. It's not dirty. I've watched them clean the dining room. They do a thorough job.

The care my brother has been given at Waterford Oaks Senior Care has been better than we could have asked for. The attendants are kind and caring as well as the entire staff. His room is kept clean and his needs are attended to promptly.

Waterford Oaks seems to be quite professional. The tenants seem to be quite happy, fed well, and treated well. Activities go on but maybe not every day. Everybody gets along. My father has only been there for a couple of weeks. His one-bedroom, one-bathroom is spacious, and he’s by himself. It has a nice view off the back, it’s not noisy, and it’s very nice. He likes it.

For the most part, the staff at Waterford Oaks is okay. They've got a tough job and there is a lot of turnover. They don't really do a lot of activities. They have Bingo once in a while, and we are actually going to be moving my mother-in-law pretty soon because of the lack of activities and things for the residents. I don't think that they are understaffed; they are just not staffed properly and it seems that people are not happy because they are not paid enough. The cleanliness is good, but the food is horrible; they are given hotdogs and chicken strips for dinner, stuff like that. For me, for a place like that and the money that we pay, they should have somebody that is able to cook food for them, especially that these people are used to having good food at dinnertime. There is a lot of people that basically cannot communicate, they are very catatonic, and that is not what we were led to believe.

Waterford Oaks can take care of my father's needs. The staff was very nice, very personable, very open, and they talk to me. They're really concern with the residents. The rooms were very nice, very clean, and very spacious for one person. They do the laundry and take good care of changing the sheets on the bed. They have bingo, and people come in for birthday parties.
