"They've done an excellent job at the Farmington Hills Inn so far. I'm very pleased with the service and I'd give them top marks across the board! The staff are extremely personable and family oriented. You can tell that everyone here takes pride in their job and in the service that they provide. They really care about making their community feel like home for the people who live there. I visited quite a few communities when I was looking into senior care and this was far and away my favorite that I saw! "

"Aids are top notch, considerate, don’t argue back and forth with residents. Residents are advanced in age many in their 90s. All single rooms no shared spaces. You can text the Director anytime with a concern or management staff. It’s a 24 hour facility."

"The owners and employees treat the residents as if they are family. It is very clean and has no medicinal smell. The food is made mostly from scratch and they adjust for each resident's dietary needs. Each person's clothing from the day is cleaned at night and their night clothes are cleaned during the morning. Each resident has their own furnished room with a large flat screen TV and cable. Residents each have a sit to stand recliner to relax in during the day. Ahava brings in a recreational therapist twice a week plus bingo twice a week, and an art instructor once a week. In addition, a nurse visits regularly and they arrange for residents to have PT and/or OT as needed. The doctor comes regularly as well."

"We're quite satisfied with Pleasant Valley Family Care. It's like a nursing home, only it's a private home and they're licensed by the State. They give my husband everything that a nursing home would. It's pretty good right there. I have high respect for all of them. His room is not huge, but it's plenty big. He has a La-Z-Boy chair, a chest of drawers, a table, a bed, and his own bathroom. It's the cleanest place I've ever been. When you enter, you have to either take your shoes off or put on those plastic booties. There is a little porch in the front where you could go out and sit if you want. They have a chair out there, and those in wheelchairs can bring their wheelchairs out to the front of the house and look at the outside for a while. The staff is the best. They have a piano player that comes in, they have a guitar player that comes in, and they have somebody that comes in and does stuff with the patients. It's every week that someone is there."

"I visited Magnolia by the Lakes, and I liked it very much. It just wasn't the right place for my husband. Everything was lovely, like the cleanliness, the staff, and the food. Everything was lovely. It was very beautiful. There were plenty of activities. The staff were very friendly. The facility was lovely. I was very impressed. It was clean. Everything about it was lovely; I could see myself living there."

"Words to not even begin to describe what a loving home my grandmother lives in. I was extremely sadden when we needed to separate my grandparents after 65 years of marriage, but when I visited Daniella’s all of my worries disappeared. This home is the most loving, nurturing, beautiful place ran by a pure angel. Daniella and all of her staff not only care of my grandmother but they truly love her. The home is extremely warm and inviting. All of the care givers take care of each resident with the utmost respect and love I truly believe that because of Daniella we have been given 2 more years with my grandmother which we probably wouldn’t have if she were anywhere else. I could not have asked for a better place for my grandmother to have spent the rest of her days at. We are truly blessed to have found Daniella and are forever grateful for the love she has bestowed upon my grandmother. Thank you for all that you do!"

"The Bradford Senior Living was a lovely place. The staff was wonderful. The welcome and the tour was lovely. It was very nice. They showed me the actual room and the dining room. I took a tour of the entire place. It's an A-plus for cleanliness. It was like a bed and breakfast. It was beautiful. I noticed that the residents were out and interacting with each other. I also looked at an activity board to see what they do every day, which was very nice."

"Everything fit in with what we needed. We were very pleased with everybody who helped us. We have no complaints at all. My husband's sister-in-law seems to be pleased, and that's the only thing we can go by. "

"The tour I had here went very well. I liked that they had a lot of flexibility. For example, for mealtime, you can eat any time from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. while some of the other places had set meal times, which were pretty early for dinner, like 4:30 to 5:30. So, having the opportunity to pick your own time to eat was important. I liked the rooms that they showed us and the activities that they had. They had music concerts on Tuesdays (which is something my mother likes), church services, and an opportunity for communion as well. The staff were all very nice. I noticed that when we were taking the tour, the lady with us knew every resident by name. So, they seemed to know their residents well and all the residents we saw looked very happy. They were out and about and doing things. They also had a movie theater, a gym, and a nice library. There were a lot of people sitting and chatting with each other in the main rooms. The facility was very clean and I liked the fact that in the room that we've picked, there's a little island in the kitchen so that you can sit down and eat something there, which I hadn't seen in other places."

"It was quiet, small, very serene, and very inviting. It's by far my favorite. The rooms were clean and comfy. The staff was exceptionally helpful, clear, and concise. I never felt like she was trying to sell me on the place. She even told me about other options. She's very welcoming and friendly. They had activities planned, but I got the feeling that it was a quieter place. Probably the biggest amenity they have was a fall detection system."
