"I toured Farmington Hills Inn yet ending up moving to a place closer to home. Yet I was still very impressed. The community was clean and well maintained. The staff appeared friendly and were all assisting residents. I was there during lunch and the food looked and smelled really good. If I had lived closer I would have moved my grandmother in."

"Brookdale Farmington Hills North was pretty nice. It's a modern facility. The lady that gave me the tour was informative. They had a nice dining area and the residents were well taken care of. One thing I really liked about the place was the system they had, as far as how they had to lock the doors. It was pretty secure for the memory care residents. Also, everybody was nice and the place was beautiful. They had different activities going on for the residents."

"I went to The Avalon of Commerce Township. That's a nice place. The rooms are double the size of any of the other rooms of any place I was at. You could bring in a couch, you can bring in chairs and still have plenty of room. You can bring in a dresser. It's just lovely. And they have a different way of handling their food presentation, The dining room is set up for like five rooms that are in a particular area. And then the next area is going to a different dining room. And they move them around, which I think is pretty exciting. I remember him walking me through various doors to get to different areas of the facility. And one end is memory care, but you had to use a certain lock. It was just for employees. The other people couldn't open those doors. It was just to keep the people in a particular area. So, I thought the security was pretty good and the memory care people have their own courtyard, they can go outside. But in this courtyard is an interior courtyard and protected. I just really, really like that place. He told me that they have a routine. It's different every day, but they have routine things. When they get up in the morning and dress and so forth, then they might play table volleyball or something like that and then they do whatever they want and then they go to lunch, and in the afternoon they have other things that keep the people moving. I didn't like the exterior. It looks like a big manufacturing place. It's a big square building three or four stories high, and it's just not attractive. I was introduced to several people as we did our walk, and they were all just so friendly and calling the patients by name and being cheerful with them and responding to them. The staff in this place was very, very friendly. Every unit had its own sitting area with a television. You can have a television in your room, too. A lot of them don't let you do that. It was absolutely clean. The floors looked like you were going to skate on them. They were so shiny and clean."

"We're quite satisfied with Pleasant Valley Family Care. It's like a nursing home, only it's a private home and they're licensed by the State. They give my husband everything that a nursing home would. It's pretty good right there. I have high respect for all of them. His room is not huge, but it's plenty big. He has a La-Z-Boy chair, a chest of drawers, a table, a bed, and his own bathroom. It's the cleanest place I've ever been. When you enter, you have to either take your shoes off or put on those plastic booties. There is a little porch in the front where you could go out and sit if you want. They have a chair out there, and those in wheelchairs can bring their wheelchairs out to the front of the house and look at the outside for a while. The staff is the best. They have a piano player that comes in, they have a guitar player that comes in, and they have somebody that comes in and does stuff with the patients. It's every week that someone is there."

"Sunrise of Bloomfield Hills was a little bit fancier than the ones down in Florida. I did see one negative interaction with a resident. He didn't want to go change, but the gal was a little bit too forceful. The representative that showed us around was awesome, but some of the staff weren't as friendly as the others. The dining area and the common areas were perfect. They have classic movies running all the time as well as activities."

"I usually dont wrote reviews. however i hope this review reach someone in need with helping to find a great place for their parent. Baileys has eased my nerves tremendously with the process of placing my father into a group home. Putting my father into a group home was a very hard decision. the compassion that the Bailey staff show is remarkable. The administrative Laticia has been very helpful in every aspect. she also is knowledgeable about dementia, which has help me understand my father way of thinking. baileys is very accommodating."

"My grandmother is in Arden Courts of Bingham Farms. They're very caring, she just celebrated her 100th birthday, and they did lots to make it a special day for her. They have lots of activities geared toward people with dementia, and they do go outside. I like the layout of the facility and that it seemed small, but when they go out it's in the interior of the facility, so it's not seen by the road or anyone walking by. They painted her nails gold for her 100th birthday."

"My mother is here. It seems homey and friendly. They have her in memory care right now. I've seen the food, but I've not tried it. It's not gourmet by any chance, but it's fine. They have walking, bingo, the music occasionally and somebody comes in, and arts and crafts. Carl's golf club is right next to it, and it's across Costco and McDonald's."

"My visit was very pleasant and very nice. The staff was nice. I was invited to lunch there, and they showed me around the independent living unit. I was able to see a room that somebody lived in, and it was very nice. I liked the area; it’s very pleasing. "

"My mother moved into Storypoint of Novi when it was actually Anthology of Novi in 2023. The staff have been excellent throughout her stay. They are all very attentive to her needs and she so enjoys the activities offered. She is even being taken to church on Sundays which is a special treat for her since most facilities only offer a theater type setting or a short church version being brought into the facility a different day of the week. The facility offers travel services certain days/times of the week at no additional cost within 10 miles of the facility, as long as they have no "medical" commitment for another resident at that same time.. In addition to having daily specials in the dining room, the facility offers you to order off a menu at no additional cost and the offerings are quite tasty. We would highly recommend this facility for your loved one(s)."

"I toured this facility. I think it was impressive. It was a newer building. It had an excellent floor plan as far as apartments, and the courtyard in the middle, which we liked a lot. Also, what stood them apart from all the others is that they had this special monitor that could detect a resident's movements and help if the person might fall or if there was maybe a heart problem while they're in bed that would record their heart rate. I thought that was a benefit that no one else provided. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Everything was modern and clean. I liked the system that they had that nobody else had. It seemed like they had at least the activities, and I thought that was nice as well."
