The overall population consists of residents 65 and over with a mix of assisted living residents and advanced-stage dementia care residents and even accommodates hospice care as well.
The owners and staff are very attentive. an initial assessment is done with everyday supervision and care with a small loyal staff who observes and notices any changes in the health and cognitive function of residents with easy quick access to doctors and nurses to address and confirm any worries or suspicions and quickly curate a plan of care or medication change.
Full ADA compliance with a step above and beyond especially in the main shower area. bed rails upon request. door alarms for the safety of wandering residents. smooth decent concrete ramp in the front of the home with minimal clearance transitions all over the house with hardwood and tiles as the main floor covering for easy cleaning and solid footing for stability.

We're quite satisfied with Pleasant Valley Family Care. It's like a nursing home, only it's a private home and they're licensed by the State. They give my husband everything that a nursing home would. It's pretty good right there. I have high respect for all of them. His room is not huge, but it's plenty big. He has a La-Z-Boy chair, a chest of drawers, a table, a bed, and his own bathroom. It's the cleanest place I've ever been. When you enter, you have to either take your shoes off or put on those plastic booties. There is a little porch in the front where you could go out and sit if you want. They have a chair out there, and those in wheelchairs can bring their wheelchairs out to the front of the house and look at the outside for a while. The staff is the best. They have a piano player that comes in, they have a guitar player that comes in, and they have somebody that comes in and does stuff with the patients. It's every week that someone is there.
