My mom moved to Lockwood of Waterford. They seem to keep her busy and she seems to like the food. When I came in, they smiled and they seemed helpful. I know when I call and have concerns or questions, they're right there to answer. They're there Monday through Friday. My mom says the food was too salty and too seasoned. They have a library. They've got a room where they can watch movies. They have a puzzle room. They've got a billiards room. They have a gathering room, an art room, and a salon. We chose Lockwood of Waterford because they are close to my house and they're close to where she shops, so she knows the area. She could afford them, not really, but close enough to make it possible for her to be there.

I toured Lockwood of Waterford. It was very nice, very well maintained, and the apartment was very comfortable. I've had the meals there. They were not included. They have to be paid for. The food was very good. The staff was very friendly and competent.

Lockwood has seriously declined since Covid. The facility manager never returns a phone call or does what she says she will. The food is significantly worse and the serving staff is constantly in flux, many times unable to provide service due to understaffing. The recent change of health care providers from the Med Team to Corso care caused a 25% cost increase and was sprung on the residents without prior warning. Lockwoods response was underwhelming and further shows they do not care about the resident's first. There are better places with in a 10mi radius at similar cost. Do yourself and your family a favor and check them out.

My parents are in Lockwood of Waterford. It's only been a week, but everything's gone fine so far. We are just trying to get them settled in. They have a nursing staff that is there 24 hours, which is convenient if somebody is getting sick or has some issues. They have a staff that comes in and helps with bathing, toileting, transferring, and all that stuff. It is a real plus. They have a salon there, and they have activities. They have a bus to get them to appointments, if they don't drive. It is all convenient. The buses are included. If you were to go to the salon, you have to pay for the haircut. If you use their nursing staff, then you'd have to pay for that. You have to pay for the meals too, but we don't do the meals. Their apartment has two bedrooms, a bathroom, front room, and a kitchenette area. It has a stove, a refrigerator, a sink, a dishwasher, and a nice big pantry. They have a lot of closet space in there. They have extra storage room, if you need it. They have a laundry facility. They take their garbage on each floor. They have church services, and they have a little store that is run by the residents.

I went to Lockwood of Waterford. The least I liked is that they hardly ever answered the phone when I called. Then when I went for my appointment, the girl wasn't there. I had to wait a while, at least ten minutes, and then one of the residents let me in because the door was locked. So I feel like if we needed to get a hold of them when my mom was there, I had a feeling it wouldn't be as easy to do that. The place inside seemed fair, it seemed nice, and it was one of the lower-cost ones. So I like the price there. The room that I went into, hadn't even been cleaned. Probably not enough help or something there. Somebody had moved out and it was never cleaned or anything. The bathtub was dirty. The person who gave me the tour seemd to be in a rush. She answered all my questions, but when we went into one of the rooms for her to talk to me, there was a lot of stuff she had to move out of the way and it wasn't like a planned out thing. They have bingo with big cards, which I thought was nice for people that don't see very well. They have large-sized cards. They had a TV room with nice movie theater chairs. So they have a movie every so often, and they had a craft room where they could do crafts and things.

My mother moved into Lockwood of Waterford. She likes the food, the staff, and the people there. The room gets cleaned, everybody is nice, and the place is nice and clean. The snow removal is taken care of, they seem to be on top of everything, and the maintenance staff seem to be really good too. The dining area is fine and large. Mom said they have lots of activities. They have transportation services, they have a beauty shop, they have a small store, a movie theater, a pool table, they have a library to take out books, and places to do jigsaw puzzles.

My favorite one is Lockwood of Waterford. It was just remodeled, so everything was modern. It looked classy. The rooms could have been a little bit bigger. The food was all freshly cooked. The staff was very nice. The activities were very similar. The building was near the main road, but more than a block in, so it felt secluded. It was very close to lots of shopping. They took the residents to the doctors. The staff members that I met were very nice and helpful. They had aerobic exercises and crafts. The place was gorgeous.

Lockwood of Waterford was a slightly older facility and a bit more condensed with the number of units and the building itself. I got a quick tour of the one-bedroom apartment and the common room. It was about that time everybody was coming down for dinner. The staff was very open and very helpful.

Lockwood of Waterford was where Mom would want to live if she decides to move from California to Michigan. We like the area. We lived near there all of our lives and she's been away from Michigan for 30 years. She was comfortable in that environment. She liked just everything about it. She liked the convenience of it. We were able to see the rooms, and they were very nice. One of the things that we found is that because of her income, she could qualify for rent assistance, so that was important to her. They are sending her calendars of activities each month so she can take a look at them. We walked around and saw the entire place. I have a friend that actually is a nurse that works for the agency out of Lockwood and she was even there and that helped the comfort level. The person that we spoke with still keeps in touch with us. Michelle is very accommodating, very informative, and has been very responsive to any questions we continue to have even though my mom has decided she doesn't want to move to Michigan right now. One thing that I thought was very noticeable is there were cleaning and maintenance people throughout the building and everything seemed to be real clean and well taken care of.

We loved Lockwood of Waterford. The tour and amenities were fantastic. We spent a couple of hours there. The food looked great, and their little apartments were cute. The place was very clean, very neat, and very inviting. The residents were busy because they had something going on every single day. We loved it because if you want to be busy, you can be, and if you don’t, you don’t have to participate.

I liked Lockwood of Waterford basically. The rooms were nice, and it was apartment living. I found out that the meal included was only dinner, and it was served at a certain time. The staff who assisted me was very nice and very helpful. She was telling me about their activities and how the entire family would be invited which was important to me because I've got lots of grandkids. It was easy to get to places if I needed to because they have a shuttle. The dining area looked really nice.

I liked Lockwood of Waterford very much, but they didn’t have a vacancy on the first floor. I didn’t look at them that thoroughly, but I liked what I saw. I saw some seniors getting ready for their shuttle. The dining area looked fine.

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of Lockwood. The apartments really stood out since they were a good size, very spacious, and laid out well. The staff was very friendly, and it had a very nice dining area.

Lockwood of Waterford is nice and clean, and the staff is friendly. The layout makes it convenient for you to get to where you need to go especially if you're handicapped to some extent. The dining room was nice, and the room was OK.

We were very pleased with Lockwood of Waterford. The person who met us was very personable, answered our questions, and gave us a tour that enabled us to see that it was a well-run place. They had a lot of programs during the day and events. The dining area looked very welcoming and well-kept. I think I would enjoy eating a meal there.

I visited Lockwood of Waterford, and I really like it. I really wanted to be in this facility, but I can't afford it. They took me to the rooms, and they are beautiful and spacious. It has lot of convenience to it. The lady who hosted the tour gave us lunch, and the food was very good. They have a lot of activities going on like crafts, movies, and bingo. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Lockwood of Waterford is clean and everything. It is a really nice place, but for my mother's needs, the other facility works better. Also when I went there on Saturday, there were very few residents that were out of their rooms. In comparison, there were a lot more going at the other facility than this one. Lockwood was also $100 more expensive. I'm really glad I didn't choose this place because of the location of the bathrooms in their apartments. We want the bathroom to be accessible, but with this one, you have to go around the corner and almost into the kitchen to go to the bathroom. To me, that's not acceptable. I also don't want to walk into an apartment and find the bathroom the first thing I see. And that's the way it is there.

Lockwood has senior apartments and you can choose from one, two or three bedrooms. Mom and dad have a beautiful two-bedroom apartment, they get one meal a day and they have their own kitchenette so they can cook in. Lockwood also offers the Med Team that takes care of their medical needs, bathing, housekeeping and laundry so they can be together.
