I have not listed my mother's or my real name for fear of retribution. While the facility is beautiful, the food and dining room service is horrible. My mom waits on average an hour to an hour and half for substandard food. To save money, All Seasons skimps on food such that, toward the end of the month, they run out of food. Turnover of staff is high, so that the dining room is understaffed and not trained. By contrast, All Seasons seems to spend an inordinate amount of money on landscaping - to make a good impression on prospective residents, I presume. Management is aware of this ongoing problem and does nothing. I feel the owner is opportunistic - charging high rents for services, including superior dining, that is not provided. For seniors, dining services is a major part of their living experience. Finally, while dining service has declined, my mom's rent has climbed 40-50% while she's lived there. My mom is afraid to complain too much for fear that her lease won't be renewed. Moving for anyone, especially someone in their 80's, is simply not an option, so what recourse does she have, other than a concerned child posting this review. Solution? We're not asking All Seasons to spend more money on dining; rather, we're asking that they reallocate their budget from less important categories, such as landscaping, to the dining room.

Hi, from the Yee Family, I just want to let All Seasons know how profession Brandy, the Director of Maintenance is, she is very kind, and does every job right the first time, and is always there when needed, she is always giving a helping hand to the aderly, and respects them, does her job to make sure everyone is happy with her quality of work, she takes an extra mile to get the job done. She is very caring and understanding person, we just want All Seasons to post this because Maintenance needs to be acknowledged. Brandy keep up the good work, All Seasons is lucky to have you. All Seasons of West Bloomfield was an impressive facility. It's new and there were lots of common areas. The dining options seemed better than what anyone expected. The actual rooms were bigger than the other places, and 50% bigger than the other place for the same price. The facility itself was better. It was large and very attractive. There was a lot of space inside. There were different activity rooms and multiple private rooms. The dining room was large and very nicely done and the menu was extensive. The rooms have a separate bedroom, a living room, a dining room, and a kitchen. They're small apartments. The staff was always attentive, professional, and friendly.

All Seasons of West Bloomfield is very clean and it doesn't look like a typical place for the elderly. It's more upscale and vibrant. The staff is very friendly. Everything was just perfect for my aunt.

My relative has truly enjoyed living at All Seasons. The facilities are beautiful and the activities are well planned. Unfortunately, the dining room service and cuisine need a lot of help. Although food is presented nicely, it is either over salted and/or over sauced, or it is dry and poorly executed. For the amount of rent that is charged, one would think that the dining room and food quality would be first class. The kitchen was built without a broiler and without the warming lamps that one sees in most restaurants to keep food hot until the waitstaff retrieves it. Complaints to the management in the building had yielded no response. One cannot address this problem with upper management as the residents do not know who they are. The one communication with a principal from the parent company has been ignored. All Seasons of West Bloomfield has been a great disappointment in that one arena. The sample meal that we enjoyed before our relative moved in indicated just the opposite. The chef who prepared it was not the one who is in charge now. I would have rated it 5 stars, except for the food.

I liked All Seasons because of the size of the rooms, the cleanliness, and the newness of the place. It just didn't seem sterile, and it seemed homey. The staff treated us very well. It would be the place I would put my mom.

All Seasons have only been opened a few weeks. When I found them, I decided to find out if they had availability and they did. It's 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, 1000 sq. ft. but they have small units. There is easy access because you have an indoor hallway. Down on the first floor, they also have access to the parking. They offer breakfast and dinner and there is transportation services if you want to go places. The staff are fabulous and they'll do anything for you. They're good about following through and making sure everything is fixed if there's something that you need. They have movies, cards, games and speakers that come in. We're only 3 miles from them so we see my father and mother-in-law a lot.

We had come across All Seasons of West Bloomfield through a web search for an independent living facility and decided to check this place out for my parents. It is brand new. They are not yet up and running, but the facility is gorgeous. Their rooms are very nice. The staff that we dealt with so for are all very helpful and knowledgeable. I like both the people and the facility. We have already decided to put my parents here, although they won't have anybody moving in until the 5th of August.
