"I was very much impressed with American House Farmington Hills. It was very clean, the staff was very nice. The food smelled very good, and the rooms were very, very clean. I was very impressed by the rooms. The residents seemed to be very, very pleasant and in a really good mood. They were eating. I wouldn't mind sitting down and having a meal, but everybody seemed to be very pleasant."

"My mom moved to Golden Grace by Majestic Residences. They've been very caring. They're also very good at helping with the transition because we just moved there. The food was very good. There was no smell. Everything was clean and dusted. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. It's not a large facility, but for a group home, it's laid our very well."

"My mother moved into Park at Franklin Senior Living, and she's been there for about a month now. I like it. I got a room close to the nurse because she has dementia, so the nurse can see her coming in and out of her room. I like it because I can go over there any time I want to or spend the night with her if I need to. The facility is well kept. They feed her three times a day, and they check on her every two hours. The nursing staff is nice, and when I come in, they say hi. They do her laundry, and they do housekeeping. This one guy is great with my mom, and she just loves him. So far, it's nice, and mom's getting used to it. They come and get her and take her to the dining area if she wants to. If not, they let her eat in her room and they will come and clean it up. They have bingo, exercise, movie night, and a salon on the premises. I haven't seen trash and they don't have a smell. It was in my price range."

"I visited and I saw that the place was nice. The people were also very nice. They were able to show me the activities that they have. "

"My mom has been here since April and for several months I was extremely happy with the facility, the staff was great when it came to the care of the residents. The only problem I had in the beginning was missing clothes and shoes. Recently the staff and administrators have changed and not for the better, I don’t understand why the change because the old staff was the best, no one is hardly available to address my concerns and the nursing staff is not as professional like the old staff which I wish could come back. At this point I’m looking for a new facility especially since they have increased their fees $200.00 and their services are no longer worth it. The only thing that is consistent from the time my mom moved in would be the activity director Bridgit, she is amazing and has my mother very active. It saddens me to see this beautiful place and staff in the beginning to change so drastically to the point I’m removing my mother from her comfort zone but I can’t keep her there. We had a life scare and Jatonya noticed she wasn’t breathing right called ems which I was told had it been any later she wouldn’t be here today. She is no longer there and that’s sad she was excellent at her job and I don’t feel this new staff are as attentive as the old staff, while I visit no one comes and check on her which they never know when we visit for this unhappiness I feel now she’s going to leave as soon as I find another happy place. I’m so sad to do this to my mom but the only thing to keep her there would be to return the old staff completely"

"The main lobby area of Independence Village really looked like a 5-star hotel. It was absolutely gorgeous inside, and the outside grounds were also nice. They allow dogs on the premises, and we met with two residents who both have large dogs. The front area of the building almost seems like a little veranda with a swing and rocking chairs. The dining area was absolutely gorgeous, and the apartments were nice. "

"I kind of liked American House Westland Joy Senior Living. The rooms were nice and clean. The whole place was very nice. They had an exercise room and activities like shopping, outings, and church. I saw a one-bedroom unit that was clean, spacious, nice, and well kept. "

"Our tour was wonderful. The place was beautiful and clean. It was easy to access from the parking lot. Mom doesn't like high rises, so it was nice that it was only three stories. The staff member who assisted us was a lovely gentleman. He was very patient, polite, knowledgeable, and he answered all of our questions."

"American House Livonia was fine, and the rooms were fine. The dining area looked very nice, and the food looked good. The staff seemed very nice. The price was a little high for us, but the location was very convenient. "

"I visited Ashford Court for my wife. I liked the spaciousness and the cleanliness of the place, and the personnel. The rooms were large. They had their own individual restrooms. Although it was not furnished, they did provide a refrigerator."
