My mother has moved into Creekside on Bardstown. We chose it because whenever we viewed the place, the staff seemed very caring, and they had decent facilities. It was clean, there were no bad aromas, and the layout seemed pretty average for an assisted living facility. The staff members are caring, and they're aware of what's going on. My mother tried the food, and she enjoyed it. For activities, they were dancing to the oldies this morning.

Creekside on Bardstown was very nice and clean. The residents in the memory care section seemed to be well adjusted, and the staff seemed really friendly. They seemed to be able to take care of my mom in the condition she was in when I went to look. The tour was nice. I was pleased with the size of the rooms, with their meal planning, and the cleanliness of the facility. It is really close. It would be a lot easier for me to go there than any of the rest of them. I didn't get a chance to try their food. Our next step would be to take my mom up there and have lunch with everybody, just to get a feel of how she reacted. I looked at their menu and some of the stuff that they offer. I saw an exercise room, the common rooms, the room where they eat, the room where they sit and watch TV. They were all very nice and clean. The place smelled clean.

My sister moved in at Creekside on Bardstown. I've had no problems with them so far. My sister says the residents there are her friends, and she really seems to like it. She just seems to be more satisfied at this place. She likes to walk in the big hallways, and they have other big areas for walking. The people there know how to deal with dementia patients. Every time we go there, they are very helpful. They also are very involved. There's plenty of them, and they seem to be really friendly. They know what my sister likes and does not like. She likes to color and she socializes a little bit more than she used to. I've seen their food, but I have not tried it. It looked appetizing. It looked like something you would want. As of now, I like Creekside on Bardstown, and I hope it stays that way. Their price is a little high, but I know that they give enough care to make up for the cost of it.

The tour at Creekside on Bardstown was a good experience. They were very friendly and answered all my questions, but unfortunately, the location is too far out so the family can't visit more often. The staff who assisted me during the tour was great. She was very friendly and answered all my questions. She said to call back with any other questions and gave me lots of material to bring home to look at. It had a lot of room and it's a newer facility, so it was nice and updated. I saw the memory care area, it's secure, so it has locked doors. I just saw the rooms and then they talked about some of the activities that they do with their residents. In terms of the location, it's right off of the main road and main highway so it's very close to a lot of traffic. So I would say that would probably be my least favorite thing about it. You walk out and there's the main highway right there. It's still nice, just that it's there in the middle of the main intersection. It's very roomy, with lots of space for the people who live there to walk around or visit with family. There were lots of seating areas and little nooks where people could visit with one another. It looked very clean.

The rooms at Creekside on Bardstown were really nice. The atmosphere was clean and it smelled good, and those were important factors. We toured both the assisted living and memory care. The person who took us around was very personable. They have a courtyard, too. Then you have your own television and your own phone in your room, so you have your privacy.

I toured Creekside on Bardstown and it was good. The staff there were helpful, and they showed me what I needed. They handed me a packet to share with my parents that had the discussion points. I know it's the assisted living. They can help them with their needs if they need it. We didn't do the memory care, because right now we feel that it's not in that situation yet. They have a cafeteria-style eating, a restaurant, and an outside seating area. They have community rooms. If you want to have dinner with them, then they can set you up where you're in your own little room, which is pretty cool. They had a small, I guess you'd call it a gym, where they had some treadmills. They also had a salon there. You pay for it, of course, but still, you don't have to travel to go to a hair salon, you can go right there. The place looked clean and looked like it was well-maintained.

I'm currently living in Creekside on Bardstown. I would not recommend it. They offer three meals in your room every day, but there is hardly any assistance, as in assistance getting out of the bed into the wheelchair, from the wheelchair into the bed, or any kind of assistance from the wheelchair to the shower bench or the bench to the shower. There is no assistance getting out of the chair to the toilet seat, and no assistance getting off the toilet. Since last November or early October, they have only once persuaded a staff to help me get a shower. The food is above average. They tend to hire people at a lower level, and once people develop or improve their skills, they find alternate jobs, so the staff is -- you could call it -- mostly from the drains, from the bottle of the leftovers. I'm on the assisted living side, and we have to stay in our room because of COVID.

Everything about the process of moving my friend from independent living to this assisted living has been so easy. They worked with my friend and her family so much and with such grace. We love that she is in a room so close to the common areas. We were so worried about her because she had lost so much weight prior to creekside. We told them we needed her to put on some weight and they asked for all her favorite foods. Boy have they delivered. She absolutely loves their food and all the snacks they pass out. She seems so much happier where she is in and has even made some friends with the other residents already. They are very open and communication is never a problem. We have most of their cell phone numbers so if we have any questions at all they are very easy to get in touch with. We are very thankful to have my friend at Creekside and we can't wait to see how much more my friend is going to thrive there.

We had to make the painful decision to put our Mom in memory care during Covid. It's been a very emotional time, and the staff at Creekside has been very understanding and accommodating of the situation. Because visitation is limited, I can't comment on the activities and food, but the facility is so nice, the Director is AMAZING, and the staff is friendly. Wish we had put her in earlier than we so we could have experienced the home prior to the pandemic.

My mother spent about three months at Creekside this year and we have nothing but positive experiences. It's one thing to rate amenities - which are excellent - but for us it was more important that the staff and administration went above and beyond to make my mother feel like Creekside was her home. They were able to equally make our family comfortable with her situation, an incredible challenge in the COVID environment. It does not surprise me they are about to open a second facility in the area as demand for top tier assisted living facilities far exceeds the options available. If you have a family member in need of assisted living, Creekside is an environment that makes this incredibly difficult transition easier for you and your family.

They treated my family member like their own family. In addition, the facility is beautiful. Even with Covid going on, they offered a variety of activities and services for the residents.

Since our mom has been at Creekside, the past 18months or so, our family has had a great peace of mind The staff is great !!! They place is so clean and beautiful!!! They are so caring and professional. They take very good care of our mom. When we go to see her she always looks happy and healthy. During this time of COVID-19. It is especially great to know that she is in a place where the staff is so caring and attentive. When they did their COVID-19 tests, EVERYBODY- staff and residence-- test negative!!! They have zoom meetings every Thursday to address any concerns! They are the family away home for our mom!!! Thank you Jennifer, Jenna, Kelcie, Tracey, Julie, Monica, Teresa, and so many other wonderful staff at Creekside!!! I have recommend Creekside to others looking for a home away from for their mom

After researching and visiting several memory care facilities for our parents, we chose Creekside at Bardstown. Our parents moved in almost a year ago and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. The moment you walk in, you feel so welcome in the beautiful lobby greeted by name by the wonderful receptionist. Not only is the staff completely professional, but they are all so warm and caring. The caregivers (who have the hardest job on earth) are so friendly and knowledgeable about the residents as well as being truly interested in the family members. While living in their home, our parents spent their days watching TV. Now they are always out in the light, contemporary common spaces interacting with the caregivers and other residents. They enjoy all the planned activities, art and cooking projects, music, entertainers, walks, exercises and off-site excursions. We are so grateful for the wonderful care our parents receive at Creekside and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional memory care residence.

You can rest assured that your loved one is safe and well cared for. It is a smaller facility and staff get to know their residents and families/friends. Need to cry.. they are there for you. Need to check on a loved one, you can FaceTime with them. Administration is hands on, and they listen, give honest replies. Rooms are nice size. And residents have plenty of safe interaction even during the pandemic. They play bingo, sing, garden, walk, fix treats, always coming up with new activities. Community is all inclusive pricing, nice clean rooms, in-house medical treatments are available, And transportation is available as well. Meals are varied by season and not always the same
