"My mom moved into the Sanders Ridge Health Campus. It was the closest to our home. It's a new-looking facility. They have friendly and knowledgeable staff members. The rooms are nice and modern, with cable, WIFI, windows, and outside views. It's well-maintained. My mom enjoys the food and the variety of the menu. It's nice quality, has good food, and is enjoyable. They have various entertainment that comes in. They do bingo and arts and crafts. They have outdoor activities where they take them to various areas. My mom goes to any of the musical events they have. They have happy hour on Friday evenings. They have music and an ice cream social activity."

"My mom has moved into Bluegrass. She has a private room with a bed, a chair, and her own bathroom, so that's good. They do activities, exercise with their legs while sitting down, and have church on Sunday. The nursing staff members are all friendly and helpful. My mom enjoys the food."

"My father came to Sunrise Manor for physical therapy to regain strength after a 2 week stay in the hospital and being diagnosed with dementia. He received excellent care and attention by all the staff from front office to nursing care. He went into hospice care and still received continuous care from the staff along with hospice nurses. I highly recommend this facility to anyone searching for physical therapy or also long term care for a loved one."

"My wife and I have planned to downsize and prepare for whatever may comeour way. After shopping for 4 years we decided to buy a universal design patio home, but we considered and visited several independent and assisted living facitities. We searched for a coninuous living facility but found none. We liked what we found at Allegro of Elizabethtown and when the time comes, we will move there. A skilled care facility, located next door, was formerly under the same management but still gives priority to Allegro residents. A memory care unit is within the Allegro building. The staff is caring and professional. The facility, renovated about 2009, has one and two bedroom suites with rates comparable to similar facilities. The dining room serves three excellent meals each day. The activities director conducts a range of activities with at least two activities a day. An excercise facility with a wellness director is on site. Transportation to medical apointments, shopping, and group activities is included. Assistance in daily activities like bathing, toileting, dressing, etc is not included but can performed by outside caregivers, Family members are welcome without prior notice at any time. Best of all, the residents are all appreciative of the quality of care they receive. "

"Beehive Homes has a memory care facility, the staff who showed us around was very personable, nice, and was one of the best host to show you around. The residents really loved her, she talked to them and asked them questions. It’s neat because it was secure. The dining area was very nice. The bedrooms were of nice size, and the bathrooms were really spacious. "

"My parents have moved into Morningview Gardens. The staff seemed very involved and helpful, that's cool. They just take time to help me as well as help my parents. They provide meals and some assistance with dressing a couple of times. They do laundry, and they do a little bit of cleaning. They're just very proactive in making sure that my parents got what they needed. Every time I went in, it was very clean. It's a cozy community; it's smaller, so you get a home-like feel. I have not eaten there, but my parents say most of the time, it's good, but sometimes it's not so. It's still pretty good. They have bingo, a lot of the people play cards. They have church services, exercise classes, and a beauty salon that my mom has used. They have a bus that's supposed to take them to activities, but my mom and dad haven't been there long enough to use that. "

"My husband is at Glen Ridge Health Campus. We chose that place for him, because it's the only facility that does skilled nursing. The layout is really good. It's easy to follow and they have PT and OT. There's a dining area for each group. They were supposed to have activities, but due to not having enough staff, they haven't been able to do activities in the skilled nursing part. Also, their food has a lot of carbs."

"RobinBrooke was a beautiful place, but they didn't have an opening at the time. It looked very beautiful and homey. I talked to a lady who lived there while I was there, and she was very complimentary of the facility. The staff members were very helpful. The facility was spacious, and there were plenty of rooms in the apartment I visited. It didn't seem like it was close to a highway that would be dangerous if a confused person got out of the facility."

"I stayed at Franciscan Health Care Center. I thought it was excellent. The rooms were very clean. The food was good. The dining room was more cafeteria-style. The activities were OK. For entertainment, they brought in musical groups. Physical therapy was one of the best things I can say about it. They were excellent and much more considerate of what my needs really were. "

"My aunt is in Presbyterian Homes Westminster. I only have one concern. When I talked to the social services about her, she was having an issue where they didn't have her sit up for a little while. I'm going to talk to them about that to make sure that the floor nurse manager would take the lead on it to make sure it's done. They had a turnover of nurses in there and the nurses were more from an agency coming in to work. They had some COVID cases there too. I know they're busy, but she assured me that my request would be catered. I investigated it first before we sent her there, they took her as Medicaid pending. The lady there took care of the Medicaid papers. I never got to go into the building, but I talked to my wife on the phone and she's happy there and has no complaints. Everything that she has there is satisfactory. They have activities, but she's not in any shape to participate in them so she watches TV and I bring her books, snacks, and I sent that in there. I dropped off the package and they would deliver it to her room."

"My friend moved in. We chose it because it was close, the price was right, the rooms were large, and it just felt like it was the right fit for us. The staff was helpful. They have restaurant dining, and there's fresh fruit and vegetables. I have lunch with her on a regular basis and the food is good. They have an exercise room, an activities room, they have a movie and theater room, they have a 24/7 nurse, and all that is very comforting. It's fairly new, clean, two stories, and everything was marked. They have a very active group of seniors."

"Everything about the process of moving my friend from independent living to this assisted living has been so easy. They worked with my friend and her family so much and with such grace. We love that she is in a room so close to the common areas. We were so worried about her because she had lost so much weight prior to creekside. We told them we needed her to put on some weight and they asked for all her favorite foods. Boy have they delivered. She absolutely loves their food and all the snacks they pass out. She seems so much happier where she is in and has even made some friends with the other residents already. They are very open and communication is never a problem. We have most of their cell phone numbers so if we have any questions at all they are very easy to get in touch with. We are very thankful to have my friend at Creekside and we can't wait to see how much more my friend is going to thrive there. "
