"The staff has been wonderful, the administration has been wonderful, we are very happy with my parents being at the Courtyard, and they are happy. It is a large bedroom, large living room, and large bathroom, and it is wheelchair accessible, which we really needed. They've got a little patio off their living room, so they can be outside and have their flowers, bird feeders, and what not. I have eaten there, and we've even gone there for brunch on Sundays, and the food is good. They have arts and crafts, Bingo, entertainment probably twice a week that comes in, happy hour, Sunday brunches, Bridge, and Scrabble. "

"We toured the independent living community of The Summit of Blue Ash, and our experience was good. They were nice and informative. The rooms are a little smaller than we expected, and we didn't like that it was too much of a hotel atmosphere for us. Other than that, the facility was clean, and the person who gave the tour was very good. We liked everything about it except the rooms. They had everything you could want. They had a pool, a game room, an exercise room, and an outside patio. It was all good. It's probably worth the money, but it's just a little higher than we can afford."

"I moved into Traditions at North Bend. The facility is very pretty. This is an outstanding building. The staff is wonderful. They are attentive and very kind. The apartment is nice. I enjoyed the whole experience. They have a library. The food is great. The cafeteria is run by a chef. You sit down at a table, and a waitress comes to you and asks what you want. They bring food to you. They also do room service if you need it. I know they have movies and a lot of activities. I do have physical and occupational therapy, and they're amazing. It's a good value. This is a great place, and I was so lucky to get in here."

"Sterling House is equally beautiful with the other facility I went to in Ohio, but from my perspective there was a different type of clientele, a little bit older, and had a few more problems, but it was also very nice and very accommodating. It’s one that I thought was really nice although I did not eat any meals there. From the general appearance, it looked extremely nice, with restaurant quality service and food. "

"Covington Ladies Home is small and personalized. It's been a lady's home for 125 years. It's a big old mansion, but it's very well kept and updated. It's beautiful and they keep it very clean. The staff is very caring and that's the most important thing. My mom has been there for almost five weeks now. She loves the food. The staff everyone I've dealt with is very friendly and on top of things. They call me for every little thing. The only drawback for a 125-year old building is there are no individual toilets in each room. There are sinks, vanity mirror, but you have to go two doors down for a toilet and shower. I thought that doesn't really bother her or me much. But it would be great if they could get modernized and put in bathrooms in each room. "

"Brookdale Kenwood was wonderful. They were wonderful to my mom. She passed away, but I highly recommend them. We didn't get to spend a lot of time there, but in the time she spent there, they were wonderful. The staff was nothing short of amazing and more than kind. The place looked fine, the room was nice, and they put new carpetting in before her arrival. I think the value was good."

"The Wellington is nice and it's a good fit for my dad. The place is very clean and the food is good. The staff and residents have been very friendly and welcoming. It's in a very nice neighborhood that's close to stores and the hospital. He has a 1-bedroom with very nice windows and it's airy, it has a fairly large bathroom, and a walk-in closet that he really likes. It was a little expensive compared to the other places, but we still think it's a good value."

"We chose Mallard Cove Senior Living for my mother because it's very nice and convenient. Everyone seemed happy when we visited. The staff was very nice and competent, willing to help me with anything, and it will be an easy transition. The food was good and the dining room was pretty. They had an outdoor eating area, a theater, exercise facility, a happy hour every night, church services, and field trips."

"We did a tour of Harmony at Anderson. If my mother's health deteriorated and she needed more help, it's available there. If she had to go short of full nursing or full memory care, it could handle anything short of that. So, she wouldn't have to move to get up there. It's equipped much more for people that are physically and mentally handicapped. The layout of the apartment, for someone that was confined to a wheelchair, or a walker was fantastic. These things were designed so you could roll up underneath them. The cupboards were positioned lower. If I remember right, every doorway, everything you had to pass through was extra wide. It's like somebody laid it out to use a wheelchair in it. If only my mom didn't have friends and is already established at her current place. There's nothing bad you could say about this facility, it's very, very nice. The staff was very good. We did not eat there, so I don't know anything about the meals other than what they told us; how it was prepared, and how they dealt with delivery and stuff. They're a little bit more trying to get people to come to the dining room, so they eat in a social environment, but they do have it where they deliver it to your room. The dining facility is beautiful. It's brand new, shiny, and well laid out. The hallways don't have any dents. It's all laminate flooring and stuff. It's very, very nice. "

"Rooms are large, clean and quiet. Food is prepared on-site and is very good. Staff is outstanding; very caring. This is in fact a family!"

"After looking at a few facilities close to my brothers, my father chose Northgate park. He liked the facilities and the rooms and that it is a month to month rental. I live out of town, so when I visit I spend a lit of time at the facility. Everyone is very friendly and caring. My biggest concern is the food. The menu lacks fresh and low sodium choices. There are a lot of sauces and gravies. My father needs b.c a low sodium diet, and when I asked I was told that their nutritionist said, that low sodium means he chooses not to put salt on his food. There should be healthier, fresher options. "

"Stay away from this facility! Staff is lazy, untrained and uncaring. Residents hygiene is not attended to, laundry is rarely done and any request is ignored. Staff is not responsive and is full of excuses. I am very frustrated with this facility."
