"Cura Care Corp provides in-house care for my wife. They could also do some errands although we haven't tried that yet. I chose this agency because of their location, since they're closer to me. I also thought that they're a smaller organization and could be more flexible. The caregivers seem to be nice people; they're trying. We've just been getting started with them and our experience is likely to improve. Maybe the scheduling could be a little better."

"We needed to quickly arrange 24/7 care for my father. Not only was Home Instead the first agency to contact me, we had an assessment the next day and the following day started with services. Within three days, Home Instead had 24/7 care arranged which allowed my father to recover from his treatment for cancer in his own home which was what he wanted. Staff have done a wonderful job monitoring his health and assisting him with personal care and have been instrumental in his recovery. We are so thankful for Home Instead!"

"Our mother is currently using Queen City Eldercare for in-home care while staying in a memory care facility. The added support that Queen City provides to her is invaluable! Sally F, the Director, is an amazing resource and has excellent communication skills. The entire team provides us with a daily report including sharing memories with us that we otherwise would not have seen, since we can’t be there every hour of every day. The TEAM is our eyes and ears and an extension of our family. They are family! Queen City has been caring for Mom for 4+ years and the team of caregivers is amazing. Sharon, Autumn, Tracey, Autumn J., and Phil and others have been great. Sharon has been with mom since the beginning and has a heart of gold. Autumn, Tracey, Autumn J, and Phil are so kind and caring it really touches our hearts. The staff at the memory care facility has told me on more than one occasion how good the Queen City Team is with mom. We are so lucky to have Queen City caring for our Mom. Thank you QCE TEAM!!"

"My mom has in-home care now from Home Instead. We love it. I don't like that you have to have a certain number of days, but that's the same with all of them. I love who they have with me, and my mother loves this lady, too. They are really wonderful people. They would do anything. They clean. They help her get a bath, and they run errands for her. They do everything for her. This woman, Rebecca, is amazing. Scheduling is great. My mom takes care of the bill. She is fine with it."

"I have found Golden Heart to be a great blessing to our family. I was afraid that mom was not eating after dad"s death and she seemed do lonely. I hired a caregiver to come check on her make meals and just check up on her. Since I'm juggling work and family, I don't have a lot of time. The caregiver is great they have baked a pie, watched tv, and the last I saw mom, she was laughing with the caregiver, while they were watching a show. "

"My dad's mom had advanced parkinsons as well as dementia cause by her parkinsons medications. When our family wasn't able to care for her by ourselves we still wanted for her to be able to live at home. We interviewed several home-care services and eventually hired Right At Home. They were professional and caring. We felt totally comfortable and safe bringing them into my grandparent's house. The caregivers helped my grandmother bath, fixed her hair, made sure she took her medicines on time, helped her into and out of her chair and bed, and generally made her life as normal and comfortable as possible. I was especially impressed with the way they helped with grooming. My grandmother had always taken a lot of pride in her appearance and I know she would have been mortified about the way she looked. The Right At Home lady curled her hair and fixed it based on some photos we had and even put some lipstick on her. It made her look (and probably feel) much more like herself. I know that they took a huge burden away from my Grandfather. Their help added months to the time she could continue living at home. "

"We found ourselves in a position where our 86 year old Mother kept falling and the assisted living facility did not provide enough care for her. We have Visiting Angels with our Mother 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The care givers are really great and treat Mom like she is one of their family. There is a written schedule of duties; however, the most important thing is to stay by Mom's side to be sure that when she gets out of bed, or a chair, etc. that she is using her walker as she suffers from dementia as well as Parkinson's Disease. We are very pleased with the Angels and there has not been a fall since May of this year--prior to this there had been 5 falls from Feb. to May. We are very happy that the Angels are keeping her safe. "
