"I like the Otterbein Lebanon SeniorLife Community. I was impressed with it when I went out there. They've got a woodshop in the building, so I'm impressed by that. I liked what I saw as far as the availability of various things. It's less expensive than the rest of the structure, so the cost was a little less. I like the atmosphere. The cleanliness is top-notch. It's a nice place. They have a variety of amenities. They have a place to stay and a place to eat. The food tasted good."

"My aunt is now in Active Day Fairfield, and the service is really good. They seem to be really nice, they have good activities all throughout the day, and it's working out fine. The people who work there are very friendly, caring, and warm to the people that come there. She doesn't complain about the food and if it was not good she would say something. Sometimes she comes home and tells me what they had and sometimes they might order out. The place is nice and clean. I have no complaints about any of the facilities that they have."

"I like St. Leonard. They had a good independent living community, but we're going to assisted living. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere and environment were very good. Physically, it's more dated than some of the other places out there, but it's still adequate."

" I have had many the opportunities to volunteer and assist at of Beckman Adult Center's activity functions for the past 13 years. The staff are always presented with the happy faces which helps make volunteering pleasant and easy. They are always eager to make me feel like one of Beckman's team family . From the volunteering prospective I see many of the staffs interaction with the caregivers especially the nurse and is highly enthusiastic and professional. I highly recommend Beckman Adult Center. "My husband is going to Active Day Cincinnati during the day now, which is really helping us out a lot. The first week was rough, but after that he's starting to like it. They have several people who help the people during the course of the day. They have a cafeteria, and he has breakfast, lunch and snacks there. They also have little games and activities during the course of the day. It's one level, and they have different rooms for different people depending upon what they can and cannot do. They do games, puzzles, cards, and karaoke. The staff has been very helpful to him. They send home a menu of the food that they're going to have for each day, so I know what he's going to have, and it seems well balanced. They're doing the best they can with the people who have dietary restrictions. It's clean, and everything seems set up and organized."
