Adult Day Care Communities in Middletown, OH

"We visited the independent living community of Otterbein Lebanon SeniorLife Community, and we liked it. It was spacious, and everything was clean and nice. The other places we looked at were too crowded. This is more of what we were looking for. The staff members were friendly and knowledgeable. The day we were there, they were closing early, so we didn't have food, but they gave us food vouchers to come back if we wanted to. They also had all the amenities we wanted, like a pool and all that stuff."

"My aunt is now in Active Day Fairfield, and the service is really good. They seem to be really nice, they have good activities all throughout the day, and it's working out fine. The people who work there are very friendly, caring, and warm to the people that come there. She doesn't complain about the food and if it was not good she would say something. Sometimes she comes home and tells me what they had and sometimes they might order out. The place is nice and clean. I have no complaints about any of the facilities that they have."

"We toured St. Leonard for independent living, and the facility was nice. My brother was living there in an assisted living environment. I'd been in and out of there, and no problem with the facility. It was fine. However, it was just a waiting list for the type of housing situation we had. So, it was a matter of supply and demand.They had full kitchen appliances such as stoves, microwaves, and everything. There were refrigerators, washers, and dryers. There's one person, a resident, who greeted us while we were waiting for other people to be interviewed for pricing. He was very informative, the good and the bad about living there, and the person who explained the situation was forthright and upfront about everything."

" I have had many the opportunities to volunteer and assist at of Beckman Adult Center's activity functions for the past 13 years. The staff are always presented with the happy faces which helps make volunteering pleasant and easy. They are always eager to make me feel like one of Beckman's team family . From the volunteering prospective I see many of the staffs interaction with the caregivers especially the nurse and is highly enthusiastic and professional. I highly recommend Beckman Adult Center. "

"My dad goes to the Adult Day facility several days a week, they provide breakfast and lunch, also a snack. They are equipped to handle people with different levels of need and the staff have always been friendly and accommodating. We receive a calendar with the meals for the month and the activities that they participate in daily, they also have special guests sometimes, my dad has really enjoyed some of the people that come to play music. We had one small issue that I talked to the nurse about and it was handled immediately. I would definitely recommend this facility, my dad is able to socialize and keep active and alert. "
