The Best Adult Day Care Communities in Delaware County, OH

"My best friend's mom was a resident at Kemper House and she had some of the best months of her late adult life here! I couldn't believe the life she was gaining by moving in to a facility with other people suffering from dementia. Felt like she got her life back. I never actually went to her room but saw the hallways and dining area when we went to lunch with her. SO BEAUTIFUL!! There is a courtyard that has a chicken coop! The staff are so awesome and remember everyone by name. She recently passed, but I know that she was so happy with the care she received and her children and I couldn't have nicer things to say. I felt like part of the Kemper family. I would recommend this place to anyone with memory concerns. "

"I have a friend staying at Westminster. It has a variety from independent senior living to total assisted nursing care. It is a full service community. It is very large. It has multiple building and it's quite nice. I like their full range of services available and if you need more care or less care, the availability to move from area to another. My friend has a standard one-bedroom apartment with sitting room area. They have lots of activities to offer. The staff is very helpful. They have no problem with the staff that I have contact into. My friend is happy there and I recommend them to others. "

"I did get my dad in a rehabilitation center named Isabelle Ridgway. The staff is very good. The building is very clean. There is no smell or strange odors. The building is located across the street to one of the best hospital in the US called OSU East. I have tried the food for a couple of times personally, and it was OK. They have all sorts of activities like bingo, karaoke, checkers, and whatever else senior citizens like to do. Security is up to par because you have to ring a bell to get in. Also, if you try to walk out the building, and you are called a runaway, you have an ankle bar on your ankle. The dining area is very clean. It was OK. Of course every facility like that needs more staff. The staff stood out to me. "

"The Heritage Day Health Centers provide daily care for the elderly in the most loving and special way. The clients are treated with respect and love. Each day we are greeted as if we are important to their day. I am aware of the different personalities that come to the facility and some are more difficult than others. The staff works hard to provide personal interaction with each client, being aware of the special needes of each. The patience that is shown is commendable. The activities coodinator works to ensure that activities are planned each type of client taking into consideration their particular handicaps and interests. The staff are true angels. "
