"The staff here is great. The chef is excellent! He not only makes good meals, but he is flexible with my special requests. My entire family and I are impressed by the size of the apartments. There are other great additional services here as well such as church and beauty salon! Gardening is one of my passions, so I'm happy I can still garden outside in the spring. They also have an excellent exercise room along with fun games such as scrabble and bingo. My caregiver is the best. He is so kind and considerate and still gives me my privacy when I need it."

"Kensington Place was in quite a bit older building, and it was right next to a medical facility. It had a beautiful setting, backed up to a woods, there was a walking trail through there, and overall, I liked what I saw. The staff member was very helpful, and I thought she did a very good job. I just saw residents in the lobby picking up mail, the residents were a bit older, and everybody seemed to be staying in their rooms."

"The staff at The Village at Westerville was very friendly and very helpful. The facility was very clean and the people looked happy. They have a semi-private room and they told us that they had activities for the residents. "

"When we visited, we saw too many old people. The set-up was a little bit confusing and you had to walk miles from one end to another. They didn't have a park in the community. We didn't get to talk to the staff. The food was okay but you have to be very early because otherwise the good stuff is gone. I would still recommend this facility because overall it was still very nice. "

"Sterling House Westerville is number 1 on my list right now. It looks very much like a large home, but it still looks like a home rather than a hospital setting. It also had an Alzheimer's unit that's associated with it that they can move to. The staff is very friendly. I was really pleased with all the staff. I like that the interior courtyards were accessible from the individual rooms and they could go out into it, weather appropriate. It's also enclosed. "

"I toured Bickford of Bexley. It's very personable and very clean. They had a lot of activities for the seniors. It was a place that I would recommend. I would take my loved one there if I could afford it, but I can't afford it. The staff were very nice. They loved their job. It wasn't just a job for them, it was a career, and they were very passionate about health care. They had a music room where they played the piano and people were able to sing."

"This facility is a really wonderful place for your loved one! They have a locked memory care next door as well as Assisted Living and Independent living in their main building. Staff is always friendly and truly care about their patients. Suzi in activities always has lots of fun things going on for the residents including many different musicians who come in the building for entertainment during the week. I have been impressed with all that they have to offer and they have even begun recent updates to the building which are turning out beautiful. "

"Creekside at the Village was very high end -- very nice apartments with nice balconies. The facility seemed very nice. The long term care or the rehab center is not connected, but is within the same complex. "

"I will be moving into Danbury Westerville. I like the atmosphere. They have a room dedicated for Veterans. They have a very good price and a discount for Veterans. My son and I are going back in a couple of weeks for a meal. It is very clean. The room itself was very accommodating. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. They have garages available. They have laundry service. They have activities and transportation for visits to the doctor. There were residents playing cards, and they had a gymnasium."

"I moved into Alpine House Of Columbus, it's very nice and the staff is very good. The rooms are very spacious, we do bingo, play charades, we have a gym, and we go outside and sit. They have benches out there, it's very nice and well-maintained. The food is very good. The other residents are very nice, I haven't met anybody that was rude. It's very good value for money."

"My dad moved to Harrison on 5th by Senior Star. The staff was very hands-on and caring. It's a great place. The food is very delicious. This community has only been here for a year, it's a very nice community. They have an activities director. She's very hands-on. She always has a little project and things for them to do. They have a movie theater but as far as memory care, they do arts and crafts. They have different stations set up depending on where the residents may be at that time. They could be resorting back to childhood, and so there's a little area for things like baby dolls. They have garden sections. They have a grocery store section. They have a pool section. They do a lot to keep them active. They have a very nice outdoor space."

"This place is clean and well taken care of - my sister who is there get really good care - I would reccomend it to anyone & maybe down the road I myself my use this facility as well! "

"My friend has moved into Bickford of Worthington. I've been over there quite a bit. When you go in to talk to them, they are exceedingly helpful about letting you know about their services, what they can offer, their levels of care, and the financial end of it. They are very good about working with you on the finances, which was very important to us. The facility so far is clean. She has a lovely room with windows. It's bright. They really worked with me as far as my knowing what she needed, and they took that to heart. They've been doing what I asked them to do for her. I even asked for something specific, like every Sunday morning that she be ready by 9:00 AM. She can't remember right now that it's Sunday and that we're going to church; and by golly, they're doing it. I find that kind of amazing to be that specific and to be that helpful with one person out of so many. I've been very impressed. I have spoken to the activity person, and she assured me that my friend is going to activities. I had no reason to disbelieve her. Jean can't tell me whether she's been there or not, but I really like the activity person. I think she's giving me the straight stuff, but I'm not there through the day to know what kind of activities there are. I have seen the menus, and I think they're making sure she is down there three times a day for meals. It's a real help. I've had limited experience, but it seems to me that it's that they're good."

"We were very happy with The Forum at Knightsbridge. It looked really good. We were very happy with the people who we met. They were very friendly and very professional. There seemed to be plenty of people there to take care of my mother. "
