"It was nice and had a formal feel. We made an appointment, but the staff wasn't aware that we were coming. They did accommodate us with the tour and were friendly. The place itself looked clean and tidy. They also had a smaller dining area, but they will be doing renovations to enlarge it. We saw a couple of rooms and that were very nice. Overall, it had a lot to offer."

"Our tour at Ontario Estates Senior Living was good. They provided the information we needed and gave us the tour. The accommodations appeared to be satisfactory. They had someone there singing, but I didn't attend any activity. I could just hear it from the office. They have an activity room, a reception center, and a dining room. I don't have experience with staying there at this time, but the facility is probably as good as any in the area. They are going through a remodeling program and after that update, I'm sure it will be nice. The facility will probably be a five rating, but some of the carpet was worn. It seemed to be very clean. So, cleanliness would be a five rating, but as far as the condition of facilities, I rate it a four and that's going to change. I was very impressed with the nurse who provided the assessment and the staff seemed to be very accommodating."

"My father-in-law received good care while he was here. The facility did under go renovations and sometimes the noise and dust made it difficult for the patients to sleep. I did find my father-in-law shoved in corners by the tv. It did take several months for the final payment to arrive. "

"My cousin was in The Ohio Eastern Star Home for rehab. They have this nice facility. The people were all friendly and willing to help. They care about their residents. The food I think was very good, and my cousin did okay with the food. Their family could eat with them. In the section that she was in, they had a bird cage with nice birds for the people to enjoy. All I saw was the rehab center for exercising. They have different buildings where residents can be. In the dining area, there was a puzzle that anybody could work on."

"It is very nice, and both my parents are living there now. Everything's fine. The food's good. I am satisfied. People are friendly and nice. The grounds are pretty. Tonight, they are having a bluegrass jamboree. Sometimes, during the afternoons, they play penny bingo and nickel bingo. They also have art classes and gardening. It's very nice."

"Bennington Glen is an assisted living facility located approximately half an hour north of Columbus Ohio. It is situated on a small hill with a very pleasant view overlooking a pond and large fields.There is on-site therapy and rehabilitation equipment with friendly and helpful staff. The whole facility is on one floor which is good for ease of access in a wheelchair or with a walker. All of the staff I had interactions with, from the nurses to the assistants, were very helpful and intelligent. More importantly, the residents I spoke with all had positive things to say about the facility and the staff, which is not always the case for these facilities.I have visited many other assisted living facilities over the years and in my experience with I was very surprised with the level of rapport the staff and residents have here. I got the feeling that the staff genuinely cares for their residents.In my opinion Bennington Glen is a very fine assisted living facility in central Ohio and I would have no qualms about having a family member choose it for their recovery. Easily a 5 star facility. "

"My grandfather was extremely unhappy at Northview, eventually he was moved to a new senior living center. They seemed to be understaffed, the building seemed nice enough from the outside but maintenance could have been better kept up, but I believe the biggest problem was the understaffing. Waiting for assistance was not a pleasant experience, and as much as both the resident and government pays to the facility I found the meals, rooms, and activities to be quite subpar from what my grandfather or his family expected. Employees of the facility smoke at the front of the property by the roadfront, something else I found extremely distasteful for a healthcare operation. Overall the staff were friendly and helpful, though as previously stated overworked and understaffed. Would I recommend this facility to others? Probably not, we found grandfather a much better facility that was not much further away, better care and a better overall living environment than Northview. "

"I love this facility. The residents are well taken care of, the staff is friendly, and the nursing staff is very knowledgable. The building is clean and inviting. The ED and Nursing Director is very knowledable!"

"The tour at The Inn at Walnut Trail was extremely informative. The staff members were very friendly. The people are saying hello to you when you walk by. The residents were out and about, seemed very happy, very well kept for, and seemed like they were having a great time. Everything is really kind of top-notch. It's only been there for about two years, so it's still extremely new. Everything is very fresh, up-to-date, pleasant, happy, and sunny. You just feel good when you're inside. This is a one-floor plan, which is crucial in my opinion. If I had to pick between, I would probably pick a one-floor facility versus a multi-level facility. It was really, really great. We saw the dining room, which was very large and open. Everything was very open, which was nice. I guess that is what gives it's big, bright, sunny feel. It was very homey. They have a pub room where they do happy hour. They have card games. They have a place to sit and hang out with friends. We saw their movie theater room, where they host big events. They have an activity room where they do different crafts. They have a chapel, which was very lovely. They have a beauty parlor where they have someone come in twice a week to do haircuts for men and women. They have a rehab room. They can help you not only with the physical side. but also cognitive if needed. We took a tour of some different floor plans that they offer the residents."

"They were very professional and really knew how to take care of people who were in their care. i was impressed with their care because i have been to other assisted living facilities that were not the greatest. clean and comfortable are some great words to describe this place. I really have no negative comments to make at this time. "

"I had a friend who went here. The facility was complete from independent living down to hospice. The apartments looked beautiful. They offered a wide range of medical care and the staff was good. They had a library, stage plays and performances. I would recommend this place to others. "
