Otterbein Granville had everything you could want. They have villas and cottages. They have apartment homes. Many of the homes that I viewed were the same or slightly larger square footage than what we live in now. They're beautiful homes. Everything is customized to the occupant's preferences, whether it be flooring, walls, color, appliances, and so on. They have a chef who is there for the preparation of the meals. They also have a grab-and-go lunch as well as a sit-down lunch. They have a beautiful heated indoor pool, very large and very nice. The thing I loved the most about it was they have miles of walking trails. I think it's five miles of paved trail and then they are adjacent to Dawes Arboretum, which is a place that is protected. They provide 20 meals a month. Then you can pay to have additional if you so desire. We were invited to come and stay there for two nights at no charge so that we could try the food, which I think is a nice amenity as well. The staff was very friendly and very easy to talk to. I didn't meet very many staff other than the person who communicates with people who are interested in the facility. She's just wonderful. She took us on a tour using a golf cart to go see a cottage and a villa and so forth. She did an excellent job. She's very friendly. I think somebody has to be prepared for a large outlay for their admissions fee there. It's very expensive.

He’s all moved in here. That’s the only one I visited because I knew I wanted continuing care, and it’s just a 100 mile radius from me. It is fantastic. It is a continuing care retirement center. You have to enter while living independently, and then you never have to leave. The staff is incredible. There’s nothing that I’ve ever seen like anywhere. It’s very extensive, just a wonderful community. The food is fantastic. They have a restaurant. They have lots of activities. They have an indoor swimming pool, fitness center, an art studio, and they bring in speaker and concerts, church activities, and various groups.

I had a friend who went here. The facility was complete from independent living down to hospice. The apartments looked beautiful. They offered a wide range of medical care and the staff was good. They had a library, stage plays and performances. I would recommend this place to others.
