"This is the one that we chose. It had the nicest kitchen arrangements, and I also favored it because they have their residents wear pendant call buttons at all times. They were all very nice, and I had no problems with them. It was spacious, clean and well-decorated, with pleasant staff. The only one that we pursued for lunch was this one, and my mother was happy with that."

"Brookdale Montrose was fantastic. It was a beautiful place, and the rooms were great and bright. The staff was very nice, and they had a room where there's an outside entrance so I can take my dog out in the middle of the night when he has to go. Their meal selections look very good as well as their activities. Their religious aspect as far as being able to take you to church was very good. I can't really find a complaint with them, and I really enjoyed my visit with them. It's good. "

"I liked the different programs, and the apartments that they have. The apartments were nice and big. The staff was friendly. The food was good. They have computers, a library, and craft activities. Cleanliness was also very good. There was a lot of green space and a courtyard for you to sit in. It was nice."

"We picked Heritage Crossing because my sister and I did some research and this facility just seems like it would fit my mom's needs. The people were very helpful. The last place that she was in was going to charge my mom for an entire month's stay, but Heritage Crossing said that they would take care of it for us, so that was big. The people here are very friendly. So far, we're very pleased. We're able to go visit my mom outside for now while the weather is warm enough, and they're very cooperative about that. They're supposedly using all the measures possible to protect against the COVID-19 virus. She says that the food is good. So far, they have activities two days a week. My mom has been enjoying them and it got to a point where she's interested in the activities."

"We like Heritage Villas. It fits our price range, and it feels like a home rather than a facility. Those are the main reasons. It was built like a house. You feel like you're at your own house. It's in a neighborhood, so it feels like you're not in a facility building, but you're in a house, which is a lot nicer than other places. I just like the setup and how it felt. The person who toured us was very friendly. I didn't get to look at the menu, but they have a person who cooks meals for each house, so I like that idea. And the kitchen looked like a normal kitchen, it didn't look like a facility, so I like that setup, too."

"We went to Allay Senior Care of Meyers Lake. It was very good, they were very helpful. She walked us through, took us to the room, and showed us around. We even communicated with some of the people that lived there, and that was pretty awesome. She got upset a little bit because they were interfering with the tour, and we told her it was fine because we understand that they're like that, and just want to know what's going on. She was fine with that, once we told her we didn't care about them walking around. She's been calling me, keeping in touch with me to find out if I've made up my mind yet. She said if there was any way she could help us to please let her know and she would do whatever she could. I appreciate all that kind of help. It's very helpful for me. I thought it was very nice. It was very clean. The rooms were very nice, but I just think they're a little bit small. They have a beautiful outside patio. They have gardens there that people can help with, and they're allowed to bring in the food and stuff from the gardenn, and I think that's great that they allow them to do that."

"I just moved my sister in law yesterday at St. Luke, and they provide all the services we needed. They offer a lot of activities in house. They a full therapy on site, doctors that come on site, and they take care all the prescriptions to make sure her meds are always on a hand. They have three chefs there, and they treat them like they are in a restaurant. They sit down, order what they want on the menu, and are given an option of 4 entrees every dinner time. Actually, she moved in to what they called Dogwood Commons -- which is the assisted living part of it -- and they’re all brand new. The room she is in, she is the first one to stay there. The maintenance guys were helpful; they helped us move stuff in. They were right there to hook up the phone and the cable. The nursing staff was there right away to check on her and see if she needed anything. They have been wonderful."

"I had the privilege to have a long relationship with Maplewood at Cuyahoga Falls. my Stepmother was diagnosed with Early onset Alzheimer's. in 2018 my stepmother was very difficult to manage due to anger issues stemming from dementia which made her hard to place in memory care. Maplewood at Cuyahoga Falls was a blessing! In 2018 through 2023 I worked 7 days a week I was always confident that my stepmother was properly cared for. Communication was excellent during the 5 year stay! What I observed during my stepmothers stay is that Staff develop true connections to clients. Staff showed deep remorse after her passing in November 2023. I would not hesitate to make Maplewood at Cuyahoga Falls my choice again. Traditions hospice care was a great choice as well I was called by traditions hospice every week with an update"

"We toured The Inn at Apple Ridge. They showed us the whole thing. We started in the assisted living and then we walked into the memory care area to see that whole section. It was all very nice. It was beautiful. When you walk in, the dining room is right there and the chapel is beautiful. They have a bar and it's just so clean. It's like you're in a five-star hotel. It was just unbelievable, but I felt it was too big of a facility for my aunt, that's why we didn't go with them. The staff was very informative, very friendly, answered all of our questions, and very knowledgeable. Their garden area was beautiful and they had a kitchen area. Everything was immaculate."

"My mother is in assisted living here in Wooster named Wayne Manor. I think it is working out very well. It was her decision to go there. I'm pleased because she is pleased. She has her nails done there. There is exercise every morning at 10, and there is always an activity after lunch. There are a lot of things going on as far as interest for her like card playing and stuff like that. She is quite happy. I think the place is very well taken care of as far as what I have seen. They clean the rooms thoroughly, and I'm very happy with it. "

"My mother is in West View Healthy Living and there are no problems. I call her on the phone all the time, I kinda stop by and have some meetings by the window. On the outside we can see in and talk on the phone that way, and that has worked out OK. We can also do Zoom meetings, but I haven't really done any of those. We haven't been allowed in the building for three months. I'm not really happy about that part, but they're doing what they can. They have a pretty big outbreak there but luckily my mom didn't get it. They had about 60 employees and 60 residents that all had COVID, so that's not good. There's a couple things that could've gone a little better, but it's mostly good."

"The staff is super nice which refreshing because most staff at other places are very rude with visitors. I was very satisfied with how clean and organized the facilities were here. The amount of activities that they had set up on a daily basis for the community to do is pretty extensive. It's all optional but the residents can be busy all day with these activities if they wanted. Overall this place is somewhere I wouldn't mind staying when I get older. "

"As much as I know, the services at Apostolic Christian Home are good. It might be a little bit more than John’s needs, but it is so handy. It’s right where we live. They take Medicaid, so their rates may be a little higher because they need to compensate for those that do not have full pay. The staff is very good. For people that need good care, it’s a very good place to go. "
