"Cambridge Place seems welcoming and homey. I didn't get to see much of it but considering what we have to offer in this area, I would say it would be a good place to go. The staff was very informative. The person I was to see and had an appointment with wasn't there, so someone else took me around. She did a fine job, though."

"After looking at 17 different places in northeast Ohio, we decided that the Sanctuary Grand in North Canton would be a great place for my in-laws. After meeting the staff and getting to know the staff today, we know we made the best decision. Everyone that takes care of my mother-in-law today cares for her and supports her needs. We are very happy that she is living at the Sanctuary Grand Danbury in North Canton, Ohio. I think it’s the best around."

"Park Village Southside was really nice and fairly new. The rooms were really, really nice. The inside was really nice. They had cottages outside for someone that just needed independent living. Then they had the nursing home part and assisted living part. The cottages were really, really nice, and they had garages. They do your snow, your grass, and all that stuff. The apartments in the building were a little bit smaller. Those didn't have a garage or anything. I saw the assisted living ones, too. I saw an exercise room and a dining room. I saw a room where they had people come in and do music and stuff for them. I saw where they do their hair and the laundry room. The staff was really nice."

"The rooms are nice and very clean. The staff is always willing to help and very friendly. The food is great and you have choices with meals and snacks. Fantastic activities and entertainment. I would not want my parents to be anywhere else. New Dawn gives my parents a warm feeling as if it were home."

"Park Village Health Care Center was nice. The people were nice. Everything looked really nice. They were well cared for. It was older than the other facility, but same people own them. The staff was very nice. I saw a guy first, who introduced me to the girl that gave the tour. They have independent living on one side and assisted living on the other side. If you have a car, you get to park there outside. There are no garages like at the other place. They had an exercise room and a library. There was a little room where people sang, played the piano, and that kind of stuff. They didn't have the cottages, but still what they had was really nice."

"While my grandfather was there we were able to observe the people who were interacting with him on a daily basis. The staff, from the physical therapists to the nurses, were so professional but also acted like we were family. We got to know them on a first name basis and they always had an update on how things were going. The facility and his room were always clean and neat. The activities that they provided kept my grandfather entertained. It was good to know they really had his best interests at heart following his brief illness. The grounds around the building were clean and it provided another area to visit. It was nice to get outside instead of being in the building all day. Overall, we had a good experience with Hennis Care Center. "

"The Inn at Northwood Village was a very nice place. You walk into a very nice open area with the fireplace, and then they had a little ice cream bar and a coffee bar. It was just really nice inside. The room I saw was nice and spacious. It was like a little three-part room, where it had a kitchen/dining area, a bedroom, and a living room area. The staff during the tour was very nice. They also did a bone density screen while we were there. The place was very new. They had a dining room, a beauty shop, and a little room for exercising. They had rooms for two people, single rooms, and smaller rooms."

"I have had 3 family member reside at this facility over the years. I have personally witnessed the love and tender affection each and every staff member had towards the residents. The facility called my family with every medication change every status change and even to yell us that my family member was having a good day and to let us know that they were doing well. The facility is clean, smells wonderful and looks like a home. The administration team is wonderful and I cannot say enough about them. I adore the staff and the caring atmosphere while we visit. It is so wonderful to rest every night and know that my family member is getting the care and attention they receive while I am there as well as when I am not. I trust this facility with the care of my loved ones and I would not recommend any other facility in the area, as I have visited and toured these facilities prior to placing my family member at Oak Pointe. If you want your family member to be loved and cared for as a family member I recommend this facility. There are not enough stars to show my appreciation. "

"My mother is at Walnut Hills nursing home. They're very caring and it's a very friendly nursing home. When people are out of state, they have been calling and giving us updates on my mom so that we know what's been going on. They keep in touch with the families, too. It's a pretty big facility. They have different levels of care that are needed there. Assisted living is in one part, specialty care is in another part, the nursing home is in another part, and then they have condominiums for people who are just in the retirement stage. It's all kind of spread out in different sections, yet all right together on one campus. She's in transitional care right now just to get physical therapy and eventually will be moving to assisted living."

"I enjoyed visiting my grandparents at Altercare during their times there. The staff were very friendly and tended well to my grandparents and every one that visited when my grandfather was passing. They had activities my grandmother enjoyed alot. Overall I would recommend Altercare to anyone going to a nursing home. "

"My cousin is in Franklin Hall. It is very nice. He has his own room and a little deck to sit on and look at the wooded area. He has his own TV, refrigerator and really likes the other residents. The staff and the owner could not be nicer and my cousin seems to be very happy."

"Gables of Canton was very good. Everybody there seemed happy. One of our ex-neighbors has been there for about six months and he likes it. Everything was good. The staff was very good. We sat down before we even did a tour. They answered all my son's questions and he was more than satisfied. The rooms they showed me were all studios. They have somewhere two studios that are connected by a door. If a couple wants to move in, they'd each have their own room. They don't have any two bedrooms like some of the other ones do. People were sitting around in the eating area. We weren't right there at lunchtime but they were sitting around, talking and they have an activity room with games and stuff in it. They have a beauty salon. We saw a library and a courtyard. We did not try the meal, but they have a certain soup of the week, they have a salad of the week and then they have an entree every day. If you don't want what they have, you can order anything you want."
