"I am in Danbury Cuyahoga Falls. Good staff. They're all helpful. Some nights, the food is wonderful and if it's not wonderful, they will let us have something else. Sometimes, the maintenance is aggravation. They have a lot of activities. You can choose what you want to do and you can choose what you don't want to do. Value for money is good."

"Mulberry Gardens Senior Living was the best. It was exemplary. There was nothing I complained about with them. They were attentive, they communicated everything with me, and cared for my mother. They were wonderful. She had a ground-floor apartment with a little kitchenette, a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom, and tons of storage. The layout of the facility was also exemplary. It was very easy to get from one place to another. They had arts and crafts, people coming in to sing and entertain, day trips where they would go to the store, and several parties like Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. We ate there many times and the food was fantastic. They had a great chef. Everything about that place was great. The staff cared so much about them. One staff member called me here just a few months ago to ask me how my mother was doing down here."

"I like everything about Cardinal Village. The layout, lots of activities, food, and transportation. They have everything there. The facility is very nice and very clean. The staff were very friendly. The rooms are a little bit updated. It has a living room with a small bathroom and a kitchen area. They also have a patio that she really likes. They play puzzles and bingo. They also have arts and crafts and a physical therapist that would come around. One of the other main items that we like is they have transportation to take them to the dollar store and to grocery shopping. It’s a great facility. "

"I like the openness at Holiday Copley Place. The cost is affordable. They're very friendly and very welcoming. I didn't see any kind of dirt or anything anywhere. All utilities are included in the cost. They provide three meals a day. They have bingo, cards, and board games wherever they can get together and play. They make sure that somebody sees you at least once a day. So if you don't go out of your room, they'll come and check on you."

"I toured Vitalia Senior Residences at Stow. The place was gorgeous and very nice. Everything seemed like it was going to be great. It was very costly. It was probably going to be very costly for my mom's condition. She doesn't need two-person assist yet, but she needs a lot of assistance. They couldn't give me a price or an estimate or anything like that until she was assessed, whereas others could give me guesstimates at least. I just couldn't get pricing, and I was in a hurry because I wanted to get Mom out of the environment she was in. However, everybody was friendly. I met directors from different departments, and they were all very friendly. It looked like they had good activities too. The cleanliness was good. The room was nice."

"Brookdale Montrose was a very, very beautiful facility, but when I asked the question of what would happen if my sister's funds ran out/if she outlived her funds, I was told that they would help us find a place for her. That's not what I wanted to hear. The apartments were very nice. They had a lot of common areas with tables and chairs where people could congregate and do puzzles or whatever. They have several of those areas. Their dining area was nice. The facilities seemed very clean."

"I went to Eden Vista of Stow. We liked that it looked clean and homey, not like a big, fancy hotel. The apartments had a living area, a kitchen area, a bedroom, and a bathroom. The person who took us around was very friendly and very informative."

"I toured Vitalia Senior Residences at Montrose. The experience was very, very positive. That was the nicest of all three. We toured the facilities. They have a beautiful cafeteria. Food is very, very good, very well done, and very well served. It is an almost brand-new facility, maybe 5 or 10 years old maximum. It shows in the decor, ithe facility, and the apartments. The apartments are among the bigger styles that I saw. The staff is very professional and very attentive. The accommodations were really, really nice. From the library to the workout facilities, and everything else, they had a more comprehensive sort of activity program there."

"The facility is great, my dad loves his apartment style room. The Story Point team a Laurus caregivers have made my dad feel comfortable and safe. They are there when we need them and go the extra mile to ensure my dad is happy, healthy and safe."

"Hudson Meadows Retirement Community is a very nice facility, up to date and clean. The other place I toured offers townhouses but this one has all apartments. Their amenities are very nice. They have a snack bar and the food is very good. I ate a meal there and it was also very nice. They have a nice theater, they have a pool which is nice, and an indoor pool. They have a nice snack bar where you go, get popcorn or anything that you want."

"I'm retired and a resident for 7 months at Springwood. Having come from 40 years of private homeownership and adjusting to apartment life has been a challenge. Tammy is great, she and her staff have made my transition very easy. Climate controlled garages are great. Location is quiet, secure and private, yet access to shopping is good. Don't expect perfection as that doesn't exist...but Springwood is a good start."

"The rooms are spacious and well cared for. The MC coordinator and staff are all wonderful. They are caring and reactive to any situation. All are open to communication at any time of the day. Concerns are addressed in a timely manner. The activities staff, kitchen staff and custodial staff are great. I couldn't think of any better place for our father to live."

"Danbury is a wonderful place for my husband to be. Everyone is so friendly and I know my husband is getting wonderful care in memory care. The rooms are kept so clean. The staff really care about patients and the families too. My husband tells me how much he enjoys the food. They take such personal care and really know likes and dislikes of each patient. We visited three other facilities and Danbury was definitely the best and the atmosphere is as close to home as possible. I go see him every day and I get a smile and pleasant greeting from all staff. As I walk in the door someone usually tells me how my husbands day is going and what he had for meals and how much he ate. Staff know each patient very well. I just know he is getting excellent care. Everyone at Danbury seems to like working there. Such a wonderful atmosphere. Thank you for providing a home for my husband that I can relax and know Danbury is helping me give the best care for him. "

"Canton Christian Home was nice but it was small and they only had high-rise apartments. They don't have separate homes. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were small, but I would recommend them to others. "
