I have had both a family member and friend in Assisted Living. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is clear they care about their residents. The rooms are fine and very clean. The directors explained the paperwork well and ably answered questions. I believe them to be honest and trustworthy. I can’t speak to the activities or the food. I certainly have not heard any complaints.

Danbury Woods is a very clean facility. It is a small facility and this allows the residents and the care givers to know each other a bit better. The residents are well fed and cared for. The rooms are a nice size and easy to move around in. The nursing staff does a nice job of caring for the residents and they are very personable and caring. The members of the staff I have contact with are very approachable and easy to talk to. The residents seem to enjoy the entertainment that is brought in, the family events,shopping trips, the themed parties and a wide variety of activities. My mother has been there for almost 10 years and enjoys being there.

Nice facility. I like the fact that it is a smaller community and all on one floor. Also if the time comes that one would have to move to the Memory Care unit, it is just right down the hall. Lots of activities. Maybe more than encouraging needed to get residents to participate. Rooms are really nicely set up. Staff is helpful and friendly .

Morgan V. is very educated and helpful in all facets of her senior assisted living facility. She helped me get my father his VA income that we were not aware of that he was eligable to receive. She addresses any and all of my concerns and promptly handles any issues.

A few years ago i found myself in the position of finding my mother in law a place to live. She really only needed observation. She was fiercely independent but also particular. Independent living was perfect for her. It was clean and safe and nicely decorated. She quickly made new friends, commented positively about activities and meals. We could visit her at almost any time, which was helpful with our schedules. Mom was nearly deaf which made communication frustrating at times. I never witnessed any impatience on the part of the staff. As time went on, we could see that mom needed a little more hands on care. Fortunately the transition was smooth and uneventful. Mom continued to comment on activities, meals, staff, new friends and almost at every visit said,”I do like it here.” Hospice came on board with Danbury staff and both ‘agents’ worked very well together for mom. Changes in moms behavior again became evident. A smooth transition was not traumatic for mom. Communication with staff had always been clear, appropriate and compassionate. Mom passed away in memory care. Danbury staff had always made the difficult changes in mom somehow less painful. They shared the last few years of her life with us in the kindest way possible.

If your looking for a home like setting look no further Danbury in the woods is the place. My dad and mother in law both reside here! My dad has been here 3 years and mother in law almost 6 months. My dad and mother in law are always looked after and cared for in a loving and compassionate way along with all the other residents.They are always engaged in activities or on outings! Danbury has picnics and special events that extended family is invited and not to mention the food (very good) I have always been greeted and treated like family, I have nothing but Praise and Gratitude for Danbury and everyone that works here they’re ALL AMAZING!!

Rooms are adequate size. Have found all staff to be friendly, helpful. My Mother loves ALL the activities and interaction with the rest of the residents, especially the outings to restaurants and shopping. I would recommend Danbury Woods Assisted Living for your loved one.

We have been with Danbury Woods for a number of years, first using respite care periodically during the year and now, mom is full-time in the memory care unit at Danbury Woods. Our positive experience began with Morgan, who has been our primary contact person. She has been personally available to us and we truly appreciate her heart for the residents and their families. Mother has enjoyed the social interaction more than I could ever have imagined. She loves the activities and being able to socialize with the ladies at her table and all the other residents too. It's a joy to hear her hooting and laughing when I enter the doors to the unit. I know she is full of joy in these last years that God will give her. The entire staff has been helpful and available to me as needed. I love the fact that I can get to know the nurses and staff and it's not someone different all the time. Mom's accommodations are great and any challenges are handled quickly. Having Mom at Danbury Woods has been a wonderful, positive experience for me and my family, and especially for my mom!

Danbury Woods was nice. The staff was nice. They could probably do a little better on the cleanliness. Their dining area was not as grand as the other place. This was more like a paper flyer, and you got to choose what you wanted to eat. If you're in memory care, they would bring it to you. If you're in assisted living, you go to their big cafeteria. They had exercise classes to get the people to move a little bit. They're more geared towards memory care. The grounds were nice. We still did all the COVID measures. The only thing I didn't like is I had to wait for someone to show up. They kind of let you go on your own for a minute. Somebody did finally come around. We went in a room, and we had a little meeting. Then they showed us the rooms.

Danbury Woods of CF is a Great Facility! From the moment you step in the door you are greeted with a smile and hello..., The Director of Nursing always asks how everything is going .... and, if there is an issue will take care of it right away. The facility is very clean and neat. It smells wonderful. Never and odors. The activities are amazing . There is 2 activity staff for the building. The staff are amazing. So kind, smiling , laughing. They always greet you when they see you and ask if there is anything I need. They offer coffee, pop, snacks etc. My mother always looks amazing in appearance. My mother has been here for s number of years . There are new happy faces ! I feel over the last year and half there has been a significant improvement in quality of care. This is an amazing facility ! My mother loves it here and calls it HOME!

Our visit at Danbury Woods in Cuyahoga Falls was very good. They had a good social thing, a very good food program, and nice rooms. It was a much smaller facility, so there wasn't a lot of extra room for activities. The person who assisted perspective customers was exceptionally well-informed. We were favorably impressed with the facility and the few people we did speak with.

At Danbury Senior Living, the people are wonderful and helpful. It’s a new facility, so everything is nice, but they are working through some things, like figuring out routines, but we are pleased. My mother has a studio with a bathroom, a shelf, closet space, a sink with a cabinet underneath, a refrigerator, a room for her bed, a couple of dressers, and a desk. It is nice.
