"Our family used the home care services provided by Home Instead for over two years for our father who has alzheimers/dementia. We had care for him five days a week - four hours a day. They would cook meals for him, clean his small apartment, wash his laundry, change his sheets and wash them, run him on errands (grocery store, pharmacy), take him to some appointments (doctor, podiatrist, hair cut), take him for walks, and many other things. He had a main care provider, but also some alternate ones as well. They were all so kind to him and attended to all his needs. His main care provider went above and beyond by even purchasing a foot spa on her own and giving him weekly pedicures. She was a true gift from God for our father and we were blessed to have her care for him for over two years. Our father's condition worsened, so we just recently had to place him in memory care....the hardest decision of our lives. We will miss the wonderful care provided him at his home.
