"It's been 7 yrs since my father passed away. He moved to Cardinal village after my mom passed away because he was lonely. He had lost his best friend 6 months earlier. He spent about a year in retirement village before he had to move to assisted living and passed not long after that. EVERYONE there were wonderful. The staff, the other residents, everyone. He felt at home there. He loved the screened porch. We feel he was blessed to be there. If you are considering a retirement place to make life easier for yourself, or your parents, I highly recommend that you check this place out. "

"The Inn at Apple Ridge was stunning. It had some really cool features for seniors. They not only have a large fish tank, but they also had an aviary in there. It's something really cool for them to look at and interact with. They had a beautiful waterfall in their courtyard that is different from anything I've seen anywhere. The place itself was incredibly clean, very nice, very comfortable, and very homey. It's a beautiful building, plus it's on top of the mountain. It's so high up there that you see the entire area around you. It's beautiful, and the people were very pleasant. We did both assisted living and memory care. We had done the assisted living originally, but since my mother-in-law took that fall a lot of things had changed right away. If she needed more help, she could also go to the other side, back and forth between the two. The staff was very interactive. Everybody worked together really well while we were there. It was beautiful. The food smelled good, and it looked good. They offered just about anything you'd want."

"Everyone at Mulberry Gardens Senior Living seemed quite friendly. Since there are two of us, the larger apartments were more appealing. We're kind of picky on the food, and I would like maybe a step up in the food. It wasn't the type of food that we normally eat. The staff member who gave us the tour tried to answer all of our questions as we asked them."

"I was able to visit Emeritus at Medina when I was looking for a facility for my sister-in-law. It was a lovely place. If I had to choose one, it would be this facility. The people there were very loving and kind. I felt it was a tremendous place. The rooms were nice and comfortable. I saw the dining room, and you would feel like you are in a restaurant. It's well appointed. Overall, for an assisted living place, I think it is adequate. "

"This is the one that we chose. It had the nicest kitchen arrangements, and I also favored it because they have their residents wear pendant call buttons at all times. They were all very nice, and I had no problems with them. It was spacious, clean and well-decorated, with pleasant staff. "Our visit to Hudson Grande was wonderful. The place was beautiful, it's fairly new, bright, and airy. Although, the room that we looked at wasn't going to fit our needs, but everything about the room was very nice, clean, and happy. The staff was very pleasant, personable, and helpful.
