"I recently toured timberland ridge and I was able to meet the staff and talk with a few residents. They all had nothing but kind words to say about everyone who works here and resides here. I recommend this to anyone looking for their loved one to stay"

"This facility is beautiful. It is very clean and organized inside. The staff is very friendly and really care about all the residents. The only negative factor was the fact she shared her room with another resident and they did not get along whatsoever. I wish that the staff could of split them up somehow but they refused to which wasnt fair i dont think. They had gourmet meals which was very nice...they had a formal dining room as well as a seperate banquet room so you could celebrate special occasions in private. They had many activities for the residents to do such art projects, bingo, pool, board games and a huge movie room. The residents could get any snack or drink they wanted throughout the day. Staff would assist with bathing and cleaning there rooms.Some rooms were just like an apartment with a living room bedroom and kitchen. The facility was very nice and well taken care of and I would recommend to anybody! "

"I moved my father to Concordia. He's been there before, and we've had other relatives there. The staff is friendly and helpful. He's going to exercise class once in a while. They serve three meals, and he can ask for snacks. They have a physical therapy room that he can use for exercise, a library, and lounges to work on puzzles, sit on the fireplace, and read books. Sometimes they take the residents out for lunch. "

"My mom was at this facility and received very good care. She worked with great therapists to gain her strength back to get her back home. Windsong has new owners and is now a small family owned facility with very personalized care."

"My husband is sometimes agitated or aggressive and they are able to deal with him and duvert him to something instead of just sending him immediately to a psych unit. I appreciate that. "

"This nursing home provided excellent care. They are best suited for a Hungarian population many of the nurses and aids speak several different languages. Their lunch and dinner menus are of Hungarian style their food is excellent. On the sight they offer a wide range of activities from daily movies to communion to church services on Sunday. They even have an on facility library for the residents to use. They also have daily exercise and activities classes among other things. They also have a large dayroom with TV room residents can go and interact with each other. They offer a full range of medical and rehabilitation services from physical therapy to occupational therapy. The staff of registered nurses and LPN's are top notch. This is an overall excellent facility for any older person from Eastern Europe. It is the only one of its kind in northeast Ohio that caters to the European population. "

"I chose Copley Health Center for my mom because it was the only place I could get her in where she got a private room, and also the cost was reasonable. The physical set-up was very nice, it was clean and modern. But the people who run the place were not very nice, I thought they were not very warm. Well, some of them were but not all of them. The food was not very good, it was mediocre. "

"My brother is at The Village at St Edward for long-term care. Everything looks great. We are real happy to have him move in there. There are private and semi-private rooms, but because of the cost we selected a semi-private. They're providing physical therapy and meals for him. They have a dining room, a library, a lounge, and a courtyard. We have taken him outside to walk around."

"Bath Manor Special Care Centre was where my mother-in-law stayed. It was our second choice facility but we had no problems so far. The place was carpeted and with beautiful furniture around. It smelled clean which was unusual for a nursing home. All the staff we met at different shifts were friendly and pleasant. "

"ManorCare is a skilled nursing facility, so they mostly take care of the medical needs more than a regular senior community. Most of the staff are nurses and nursing aides. They have three levels of care, and have access for family members on a regular basis. The grounds are neither aesthetically appealing nor unappealing. They just don't have a picnic area outside, but they have dining rooms and the food is okay."

"My mom stayed at the Rockynol Retirement Community for a while. The rooms were very nice and many of their aides were outstanding. She shared a room, but the side that she had was a nice view and it was pleasant. She was staying in the rehab part, it may be different from an actual apartment, but overall the ambience was as good as it can be. It had a wonderful PT department, the physical therapy was excellent. "

"The Merriman facility is fine. The food is good. "

"My mother is in Hickory Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation. They seem to be taking good care of her. She looks good, she likes it. It's a little outdated, it's probably 30 or 40 years old. This is her third or fourth month there. She hasn't complained about the food. She's in a private room, which was designed for two people, so she has a private room by herself, it's a big room. The bathroom is linked to another room, so that's not a good thing. The nurses are very friendly, and they do a lot of different things with them. I think they have games in the main room, play games or cards, and they have a schedule on the wall on each room, so she can go to it if she wants. They have a little screen TV. My mom is in the secure unit; it's not really nice."

"My brother was admitted to Canal Point suffering from stage 4 lung cancer. He was there twice after treatment at the hospital during his first stay. Even though we weren't thrilled at first with him being sent there, we were pleased with the care he received, The staff was friendly and attentive to his needs. Most of all though my brother felt safe and was secure with the fact that the nurses and staff were quick to address any difficulties he had. Unfortunately after being sent back to the hospital, my brother was sent to hospice where he passed the end of January 2018, but as a family we are grateful for the care he received at Canal Pointe."
