"Regina Health Center had a very solid staff professionally for the nursing and skilled care, and then their rehab and exercise program -- my mom broke her hip in three places and she's 91 -- worked her very well for the six or so weeks, and got her back occupationally -- understanding how to open things, how to get to the bathroom, how to navigate around the house and that kind of thing. She still does her exercises that they were doing twice a day with her in the rehab and the exercise program. The staff was run by the sisters, so it was a good environment for her. The cleanliness was top-notch. It was fairly religious, and there was a lot of retired priests that were there and a lot of sisters that either were retired or going to rehab there of the Catholic faith, so it was a great environment. The food that she had and the care was good, so there was no complaint from our end. "

"I was a resident at this facility for six months. I was moved here by my family after spending time at what I consider a sub par nursing home. I am so grateful that they moved me. The nursing staff took very good care of me. My day shift nurses Jan and Amanda were exceptional. The state trained nursing assistants , STNAs , also did a good job of taking care of me and my needs. When I needed help, I would use the call button and someone would come to my room shortly after I used the button. The staff went from being staff to friends. The housekeeping staff took great pride in the cleanliness of their areas whether it was my room or the common areas. The rooms were comfortable. There is an associate there who daily brings around the schedule of daily events. Once a week she comes around to the residents and has a checklist of things to check in each room. In addition, she has questions for the residents to ensure that the quality of care is there. She even asks simple questions such as “ Do you have fresh water? “ If there is any type of issue you can bring it up to her or any other staff member at any time. The therapy staff helped me on my road to recovery. The two male therapists Luke and Randy helped me learn to walk after being bedridden for almost a year. I had a short stay at a local hospital while at the Oaks. Much to my surprise , Michelle in admissions , came to visit me one afternoon. I was thrilled to see her. Michelle exemplifies the character of the staff at the Oaks. The facility is located in a very nice and safe area close to the center of Brecksville on Route 21. You don’t have to pay for parking here as you do at some facilities. This review was easy to write due to all the positives. If you are in need of a good nursing home where you are assured your love one will be taken care check out the Oaks!!!👍😀"

"My family member was in another facility close by and received terrible treatment. The staff were cocky and condescending. Needless to say we did not have high hopes for Brentwood. So far, we have been very pleased with the level of attention and care that our family member is receiving. The staff is attentive, though the family member is old and cranky, they seem to take it in stride and push on to help him. Thank you! "

"Village at St Edward was surrounded by a lot of green grass, rolling hills, and trees. The staff was very helpful, nice, warm, and caring. They have all sorts of arts and crafts and social get together as well as they offer day trips on a bus. The dining room was under renovation. "

"I chose Copley Health Center for my mom because it was the only place I could get her in where she got a private room, and also the cost was reasonable. The physical set-up was very nice, it was clean and modern. But the people who run the place were not very nice, I thought they were not very warm. Well, some of them were but not all of them. The food was not very good, it was mediocre. "

"My mother has been living in Bath Manor Special Care for nine months now. Close family friends have been there also on a temporary basis so I've been familiar with it for several years. The staff working there is very caring and knowledgable. I like the fact that my mother's room is always clean. She is relatively content when she is not anxious with her state. The dining room is right in the area because she is in an alzheimers unit. She is also behind two locked doors. Overall, the place is secured enough for my mother. "

"I have been a resident of this facility for about six months. I am comfortable here. The room is cleaned daily and the staff has always been attentive and friendly. The meals are outstanding also. The outings are fun to look forward to. This has turned out to be a good place for me."

"My mom was at this facility and received very good care. She worked with great therapists to gain her strength back to get her back home. Windsong has new owners and is now a small family owned facility with very personalized care."

"My mom has been in Arbors at Fairlawn for two weeks now. It is pretty good. They're just coming back off of COVID, so they're getting a steady pace now. Other than that, they're very good. I just don't like their well water. They have well water out there. Other than that, it's fine. She got a nice big room. She puts on TV. You can put a loveseat in there and a recliner. You just pick it up how you would like your house. It's like a tiny apartment, but they just don't have a kitchen. They have a beauty shop for the ladies and men to go get a haircut, they have a movie theater, they have an activity room, or a visitation room. It's nice. When I call on the staff and talk to them, they get on it. My mother doesn't like the meals. I have to bring her something every day."

"Wyant Woods is a little older facility. It doesn't look as nice as other facility we visited, but their staff is very good. They seem to care a lot about their patients. Everything seems to be going okay. Regarding accommodations, some of their rooms are shared and some of them are single but are average in size. I would recommend this facility to others. "

"Rooms are adequately size for a single person or two person room. Staff on both the Rehab side and Long Term Care side are just wonderful. I cannot praise them enough. My mother was there for Rehab and was in a difficult state. She received the necessary attention through all of her trials. Physical Therapy did an incredible job with getting her on her feet, special thanks to Olive, who still asks me about her. My Uncle is in the long term care side and the Nursing staff has managed to negotiate his unique sense of humor and other complexities. Special thanks to Sam, Carly, Dar, Brandy, Jen, Teonna. Such praise to them for this. Thanks to housekeeping, Tina, for always clearing away messes and never complaining. Thanks to the in house laundry staff for always keeping up with the enormous load of washing, as well as, keeping track of individual personal items. Thanks to Administration Staff for ALWAYS making themselves available, answering questions, solving mysteries and navigating the daunting paperwork with a positive attitude and kind heart. Special thanks to Jill, Andrew, Casey, Tammy. Kitchen staff, thanks for getting out hot meals, graciously dealing with abrupt menu change requests and working to accommodate everyone. Cannot leave out the Activities Team, so creative, so interactive, always showing interest in every person. You all are so appreciated by me and my family. Praises for all of your hard work and devotion! So Grateful!!!"

"My mother had short-term skilled nursing at Concordia at Sumner. It's a beautiful facility, and everybody there had private rooms. They had a little sitting area and a lot of good activities for the residents. There were some good staff members and some great aides, but usually the night staff was not so good. They had one staff member that was rude to the patients and did not care at all. The food was pretty good, but they were short on staff members. There was one time when they brought lunch to my mother in her room, and she told the staff member that she had to go to the bathroom. They told her they were busy so she soiled her pants and had to sit in it for an hour. It's supposedly one of the better nursing homes, but they had staff members that didn't need to be there plus they were understaffed. We were under the impression that any transportation was part of the normal services, but we found out they had charged us for it."

"My aunt moved into Timberland Ridge Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation. They are phenomenal, it's an amazing facility, and I couldn't be happier that we can find that for her. They are so kind, it's brand new, the new owner came and re-did the whole thing. Everybody has their own bedroom, and they share a bath. The directors and everybody have been phenomenal. My aunt is very picky and she likes the food. She is happy with everything, they'd make her a burger, they would sit and watch a movie with her, she was one of the first patients so they'd go grab fig newtons and sit and watch a movie at night."
