"This was a great place to care for a loved one when you can't do so yourself. The staff was extremely attentive to the needs of the residents and would go out of their way to be sure they were taken care of. There were some issues with the staff not doing small things such as having a clothing protector in place during meal times or not having the proper meals delivered to the residents but these were small in comparison to the peace of mind that was provided. The facility also had numerous activities and games for the residents to participate in and each holiday was celebrated. They made everyone feel like they were at home and were not only taken care of but also loved. "

"My mother was at this facility and I loved the staff there. A nurse named Tiara deserves a gold star!! She was amazing with my mom. Everytime I called in she answered all of my questions, when I would visit my mother she had nothing but nice things to say. All of the staff were great I had no complaints about any of them. The building is beautiful inside, I love all the work they are putting into it. I would recommend this facility to anyone that needs rehab. The nurses and the therapy department are great!! "

"My dad is currently at Seven Hills Health & Rehab Center. What I like most about the rehab facility is the coordinator. She is accessible. I like the accessibility to be able to talk to her when I need to talk to her about what's going on, because I just did a power of attorney with my dad. The front office is also very accessible; it's not hard to reach them. When you walk in, it's excellent. People are there and they're receptive. When I go to my dad's room, they know he is demanding, and they know that they have to be on their game with him. My dad is not so far gone that he's going to give you a pass. It's an excellent facility. My dad always complains about the meals. He is not losing any weight, so he eats the meals, but it is not to his satisfaction. Nothing is like being at home, but he eats the meals. They do make sure they give him things that he will eat. And I find that the people that come into the room, they ask him what he needs. They don't blow him off. He doesn't want to be there, so he's not especially social, but he does go out to bingo. They bring him out. For patients who don't want to be outside of their room, to just bring them out, that's good for my dad, he needs to be just brought out. He doesn't eat food in the dining area, he stays in his room, but to have activity like that, it is good for him, so I appreciate that. My dad's room is OK. I don't feel that it's cleaned like daily. They may empty the trash, but often times there are crumbs or food on the floor or under the bed. They could do a better job with that for his room here. However, the facility is always clean, and there's not a smell to it."

"They have new memory care at Jennings in Garfield Heights. The young man that did the tour was very informative. I liked that it's a new unit that they've opened up. There are only 18 residents that will be there. It's locked down. I like it. They have private rooms. I like that if there's something on the menu and my mom wanted something else, then they would get that for them. It's 24-hour care, so someone is there all the time. The biggest issue for us was the location for the families. It was all centrally located for where we all live. The other thing is, I like that it's new and there are only 18 patients that they'll have. To me, that's a big thing. The staff that showed me around was very knowledgeable. It's new, so it's clean, and where we came in, it was very bright, and I like that. It's got a lot of windows, so I do like that. They have a lot of activities. The staff did say that you can request that they be put in the common area. Whatever your needs are, you need to facilitate that to them so they can make that happen as much as they can. For example, we get my mom up and we don't let her go back like maybe lay down for a nap like we don't want that for the most part. So he said you can request that and then they can put her in the common area to watch people go back and forth or what-have-you. They have activities there that I think would be good for her, even though if she's just sitting. And if you request that she just sit and watches because she can't participate, they would do that."

"Fairfax Place is a family. The staff is great and very attentive. Everyone pitches in and you feel the sense of family. "

"The staff is always friendly and personable. The residents all seem happy and well taken care of, and during her three year stay, my aunt has never had any serious complaints. There is ample security, including guards, video surveillance, and electric doors. There is always staff on call, there to assist whenever needed. There have been a few occasions where the hallways did smell of urine. I spoke to the supervisor, and she was apologetic. On all four occasions, I would return a few days later, and the smell would be gone. The facility offers church, activities, and beautiful rooms. The area isn't choice, but this can be overlooked somewhat on account of the security on the premises.The facility is owned by catholic charities, but they don't try to push their religion on anyone, even though the only church services offered there are catholic. The facility is located on the 26 bus line, only minutes from a rapid station. There are several convenient stores int he area, as well as supermarkets, fast food restaurants etc. "

"The people who run Singleton Care Inc. take care of the residents while allowing them to still have their own independence. The facility is a very large home which makes you feel more comfortable. They also provide a lot of activities for the residents so that they stay busy. They also have a large yard in which residents can relax outside. They make sure that the residents have everything they need and that they get proper medical attention and keep their appointments. The facility appears to be very clean, and the staff is very friendly. It is run by a father daughter team and has a limited amount of residents. There are two residents per room. There is also a furnished basement for the residents to relax in. In talking with one of the residents, she was very happy with staying there and enjoyed the food and the staff very much. "

"My mom moved to Crawford Manor Healthcare Center. They're very caring. They take good care of her. I don't think they were prepared for the fact that she was going to fall, and end up in the hospital, but they stepped up and took all the necessary precautions. She's happy with everything but the food. She got a roommate, and I think that's a good idea because she needs that extra set of eyes on her. They have church services. They also have drawing and coloring activities, which she enjoys. They play music, and some of the other residents come and play puzzles with her and help to draw in their comic books, which is very nice."

"My mother was at Villa St. Joseph, and I was very happy with them for the most part. The only problem I had was the rooms were somewhat hospital like and sterile. It's a rehab facility, so I can understand the hospital kind of quality to it. She's been there twice, and I was very happy with the activities they had. They had plenty of activities for people to get involved with. My mother got out and met people. They moved her around quite a bit, and they gave her physical therapy regularly. I didn't like the way the room looked, but I was happy with the care, it was good. The facility looked very nice, well kept up, clean, and well maintained. The value for money was very good."

"Algart Health Care is an assisted living facility which offers independent options to seniors, that need increasingly skilled care. It is really a beautiful place, it is very tastefully decorated. The residents have access to a library, store and salon. They provide a shuttle for everyone. My aunt was a resident there for many years. The apartments are VERY nice. Expensive, but nice. All have flat showers, cable, internet and phone. The meals are quite enjoyable. The kitchen staff is wonderful, even though it must be hard to please everyone. My aunt was very pleased with the selections. You can also watch t.v. or listen to music during your meal. One nice feature is that they have a private kitchen and dining room so families can reserve the place to have a family dinner or movie. We have found their nursing services very consistent. They have several nurses on staff, that make sure every resident gets the care they need. My Aunt Carol always got her meds on time, and raved about the medical staff. They all seemed caring and dedicated.Most of the staff were nice people who were happy to work there. I was always greeted with a smile and friendly tones. My Aunt passed away last year, but I KNOW she lived out her final days happy. I would highly recommend Algart Health Care to everyone. "

"The other place on our top two is Judson Park. We are very familiar with Judson Park because my mom was there, and we have friends who are there and if we decided to stay in Cleveland, that's where we would go. They're flexible in terms of allowing you to combine apartments if you want to. They have outings to the symphonies, they have music on site, they have a little art studio, they have a little fitness center, and they are one of the ones where you pay an entrance fee. They have a continuing care facility. I've eaten there, and their food is good. We have friends who live there, and so we go and have dinner with them periodically in their independent living. We get to see their apartments and talk to them about how they like it. They're all very happy there. The staff members have been very good and very patient with us as we looked at different things."

"My Experience with This Particular Assisted Living Facility Was Nice. The Nurses and staff were both courteous and knowledgeable.The Facility was Kept Clean and orderly. Meals were fed on time and call lights were answered promptly.The residents were kept safe, clean and assisted with activities of daily living such as bathing,dressing and medication assistance by nurses.The Aides seemed to be well taught and qualified as well. family visitation was handled properly and openly welcomed, and their seemed to be no incidents while I was in attendance. Residents received ourly and daily visits from the charge nurse, and any requests were handled efficiently and promptly. I would refer any elderly person seeking assisted living services to eliza bryant village, they are filled with competent, professional individuals who truly hold compassion for their work and value their employment.
