"My mother-in-law was in Mapleview Country Villa. It seemed like a nice place, everybody was friendly, and they were concerned about her. She had rehab there, and when she had some other issues going on they tended to that too. The facility was clean and was set up very nicely. The staff that I interacted with was very good. She did some physical and some occupational therapy there."

"I had stayed at this facility for 16 1/2 months and most of the time the nurses and assistant nurses did a good job. Unfortunately there is a big turnover with employees and it’s hard to find good help, but the ones who have been their along time are very good. Rooms were clean and lots of activities to do and the food was good most of the time."

"Please note: this is only a review for the rehab/skilled nursing section of Eliza at Chagrin; our family did not have experience with assisted living or memory care, and those may be quite different. My 90 yr. old mother-in-law was in rehab there for three weeks, until Medicare stopped covering. The landscaped grounds are quite lovely - I saw wild turkeys roaming - while the rooms are fairly plain and the furniture slightly worn. The facility is clean and looks to have a nice library area, dining room and patio. Staff seemed stretched, and staff social worker was surprised when I mentioned my mother-in-law hadn't had a family care meeting which they said was to be scheduled within a week of admission. It was finally held 2 1/2 weeks later, and was essentially a discharge meeting. My MIL got PT and OT 5 days a week, and sometimes even on the weekend, which was very helpful for her. The biggest disappointment was that my MIL was not given a bed bath or any such basic hygiene for three whole weeks, likely due to staffing issues. After pressing them, they finally gave her one the day of discharge, and told her, "now you can tell your family you had a bath"."

"My mother was moved to Blossom Hill for her last days. She was cared for by the staff with an incredible amount of compassion. The staff was so good to her and my dad. They were very personal and understanding. We were so glad she was there and we were able to be with her to the end while she was being cared for with such professionalism. Thanks Blossom."

"I went and visited a client of mine (I am a care coordinator) in this facility and I was so impressed with how clean and nice this facility was. The staff is very friendly and my client is being cared for very well. I have been in some facilities that the minute you walk in the door you feel like I would never put my animal in this facility let along a family member. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. "

"I was pleased with meeting the staff , they were so helpful and answered questions that I had , and made me feel quite at ease, I appreciated the frankness and they made me feel secure in my mothers care as she has memory problems and doesn't always understand. I am looking forward to making myself even more familiar. My aunts visit my mother and they highly recommended Briar Hill. "Altercare has great staff, and the facility is very clean. They have a very good physical therapy and occupational therapy department as well. I would recommend them because I think they are great. The staff is wonderful. I liked them because they were kind and have gone of their way to meet the residents' needs. "

"If you are in need of rehabilitation of any kind: I reccomment Heartland of mentor. The work hard to get you well enough to get you home. Nursing on down to cleaning staff get's my 5 star rating. "

"My father is staying at Concord Village Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation. I can't get in there because of COVID. The only thing I can say is they have great communication with the families. The staff will call us and let us know what's going on. My dad said the food is terrible, but other than that I don't know anything else. It's a new facility, so it's beautiful. The surroundings are nice. Right now, he's still in the rehab level, but he will be going to nursing care. He is bedridden right now, so he's not partaking in any activities."

"Had a loved one in this facility a few years back and it was a very nice place... But now A very mixed bag. Some staff are attentive and do the work while others do not. Don't count on the social workers to give you the information you need. One was really good and the other not so much. Evening assistance is poor at best. Even if a superior tells you that something will be done... Don't count on it, keep an eye on things. I do not think the right hand knows what the left hand is doing!!!"

"My wife is in rehab right now at Montefiore. I would rate it as one of the top places around. The help there -- as far therapy is concerned -- the nurses are A1. The place is nice. It is kept clean. They have a shop where the patients can go and shop for clothes and jewelry. They can set up an account there for them. There is a deli there where they can go get something to eat if they want to, they can put that on their account, and it is all taken care of quite nicely. It is really nice. The healthcare facility at the rehab is very good. It is A1 and top of the class. All the therapy my wife is getting is really doing well and making her come around, so I'm very happy with it. "

"I visited Menorah Park Center a lot of times because my mother-in-law is there. It's a very big facility. They have the entire spectrum of care there. From people that are bedridden or couldn't get out of a wheelchair, to people who could move around. They have a little nature park, like a little zoo with birds and some petting animals. They also bring in animals, like dogs wearing costumes. They have very simple rooms. A lot of their rooms didn't have doors that closed on them. All rooms are open. The problem is with people going to the wrong rooms. They also seem to have a large number of activities to entertain the residents and keep them occupied. "
