If I need schedule adjustments or if they have schedule adjustments, they always communicate with me and let me know. They match me up very good with the caregiver. I've had two permanent caregivers so far and both were good. One I think is no longer with the company, but the one I have now is awesome. I get housekeeping. I get help with vacuuming my floors, cleaning my bathrooms, making my bed and things like that. No personal care. I think it's a very good company."

"We have been using Home Instead - Fairlawn, OH, since my wife left the hospital. They do personal care for her, like taking her to the toilet and anything she needs to live. They're very good to her. However, the scheduling is terrible. They have switched people so frequently on us, and we don't like that. We like to get someone who will come, and we can get to know them. They have had some good associates come and take care of her, and some very bad, but they got rid of the bad ones fast and would find us someone else. Today, we had someone new for the first time, and she was super. My wife liked her. She took good care of her, and we're sorry that she was just a fill-in. They send us a bill and we pay it. That's about the extent of our contact with the billing. The only thing that I regret is that I think the charges are too high. The Home Instead administration takes up a good bit of their fee, which for us is $31 an hour."
