"We've had Cherished Companions Home Care LLC for a while now for my mom. They help her with dressing, bathing, some meal preparation, and toileting because she has some incontinence. I set up the medications at the beginning of each week, but the caregiver distributes the meds. So it's already all set up, she just has to open up the pill container and give it to mom. The caregiver is very good, very caring, and very compassionate. She's done it for 20 years, and she's very patient; she has patience beyond belief. The office gets right back to you as far as communication goes. They do the interface with insurance and take care of that; they track those hours. When it comes to a long healthcare policy, there's a lot of paperwork involved, and they coordinate with the home caregiver, and they submit all that paperwork so you don't have to worry about that. I looked at possibly hiring somebody myself, and found out that you're responsible for taxes, worker's comp, all that stuff, and all that is taken care of when we went to this agency. I know for a fact that the owner came out himself one day, and helped with the interview and all that process, so he's a very caring person. So from the top down, they set an example."
