"My mom stayed at Woodlands Health and Rehabilitation Center. It's great. They're doing a wonderful job with her. Everybody loves her. She loves everybody there. Her room is nice. They keep it up. They do have some activities. They do like it when some people come in and play music, they have a family room with a TV. They can just go sit and relax. Your family could come and sit in there and or be in the room. She gets her food in her room. The food is pretty good. The staff is very polite."

"Tamarack Ridge is absolutely fantastic. It looks like resort hotel, inside and out. It is GORGEOUS and impeccably clean. I placed my mother at Tamarack about 4 months ago and I am so grateful she is here. The STAFF- and I mean from the Administrator and Director of Nursing, the nurses and STNA's- are compassionate, respectful, friendly and just all around PLEASANT to interact with. They are all so good to my Mom. The care is wonderful. The food is very good, and the activities department has so many different programs. My mother is very happy at Tamarack and I can't say enough good things about this facility."

"One of the best parts of my stay at Altercare Rehab Center is the therapy/rehab department. I was a patient at this place once, and chose to come back when I needed more therapy. The people in the therapy department made my situation more enjoyable. I want to especially shout out Paul from Occupational Therapy and Lauren the Speech Therapist for helping me improve in many areas, and we bonded very well. Lauren went above and beyond with scheduling a swallow study and helping my needs for swallowing. Ashley, the wound nurse (and the wound doctor) were very knowledgeable and helpful with wound care and communicated well with the staff about what I needed. The nursing staff was knowledgeable and helpful for my specific needs. Food service was decent, considering it is a large facility. The room was well-kept with the help of the housekeeping staff. Overall I recommended Altercare Rehab for anyone searching for rehab services."

"Since COVID was in effect I can judge the inside of the facility but I can tell you as a daughter with someone “quarantined” on the inside I couldn’t have been happier. My father loved the staff, rooms and therapists. The administration and nursing staff kept me up to date and never hesitated to address my questions or concerns. "

" There are many nursing homes and there are many stories to be told , some good and some bad more so bad than good unfortunately and I have witness both but I can tell you Maison Aine is one of those I can say nothing but GOOD about , I have been there at different time during the day and night and always very well staffed and residents being cared for or just being compassionate with a resident when needed to be or even just the simple being a "friend". My father checked himself in at Maison Aine two years ago and don't think my dad could have found a better place that has such a great staff , they are always caring on with him to keep up his spirits and most important always looking out for his best well being with this being said I am very at ease knowing my dad is being well cared for in a very friendly and clean environment and knowing he isn't just a "number" and I am always updated on any changes as in meds ,therapy , etc. and always address any questions I may have.....I have seen on a few different occasions that some of the staff members came in on their day off to visit...wow!! now that's caring and it don't just start or end there its every single individual that works there from the nursing staff , therapist , administration and custodian....I have been greeted by at least one person if not more when we come to visit and my dad has not once complained about the staff or care he gets he always tells me "what a great bunch they have working here and I am thankful for that" and so am I. "My sister moved to Heritage of Hudson. She's in their memory care unit, and we chose it for her because it had a very good reputation. It's highly recommended by another nursing home facility that my sister couldn't get into. They said the personnel there are really nice people. I looked into some of the facility's statistics, and they don't have a high turnover with their higher-level people. I went there, and I liked how clean the facility was. The food was also good, and that was really important to me because, as my sister's Alzheimer's progresses, she may not remember how beautiful a place is, but she'll remember the food. I appreciate that not only are the staff members professional, but they're also compassionate. The people who interviewed me and talked with me about placing my sister there took a lot of time with me to explain the services that they provide. They have also lived up to what they told me. The food is good, the place is clean, and they are attentive to my sister's needs and check in on her regularly. They try very hard to accommodate her wishes. I really appreciated that they had meetings with my sister and me to get us acquainted with the personnel and also with the services that they provide. I also did my research and homework and saw that they have a 4.5-star rating, which was very important."

"My mother and father both live at The Briarwwod. I am very happy with their care. The nurses and STNA's work together to provide excellent care for my parents. Susie Nicely, the head of Nursing, is compassionate and does an excellent job managing the nursing staff. She truly cares for the residents. Jude, the social worker is excellent. If I need to talk to her she is always available. Julie, Debbie and Sarah from the Activities staff have so many things for the residents to do. My mother is enjoying the wonderful activities they have to offer. They had a Halloween party last night for the residents and it was so much fun. The food and music were fantastic. The dining staff are friendly and work hard to serve and please the residents. The food is nutritious. Kathy does a great job making sure the dining staff works together to make this happen. Lastly the STNA,s who provide care for my mother and father work hard to make sure they are happy and comfortable. The receptionist, Denise always greets me as I walk in and has something nice to say. I give the Briarwood five stars. "

"My mother in law was there for about a month suffering from ALS. She had a nurse named Bill who was very attentive, caring , and treated her like family. There were some wonderful aides as well such as Kim. The facility was clean and easy to work with and I would recommend to other family and friends ."

"My mother-in-law was at Aurora Manor Special Care Center. We did not have any complaints. She was cared for well. The nursing staff was attentive. As she was passing, there wasn't a restriction on the number of people that could be in there with her. She did not have a roommate. They seemed to be very supportive and understanding of family. If we had an issue as far as needing to change the bed quick, that kind of stuff, they were on point regarding that. They had a common meal area, but for those that needed to be in their own room, the meals were brought to them. They had activities because walking through at different times, they would make an announcement whether it was a music thing that was happening. It was apparent that they were able to engage those that were at the facility if they chose. Sometimes, they didn't have enough staff but we didn't have any specific issues in getting someone if we needed someone. There seemed to be a healthy and varied diet and they seemed to be very cognizant of the patient."

"Everything about Hudson Elms was great. I just didn't see much staff and I was expecting to see more people. I don't know if that's their usual, but it seemed like the residents were still well taken care of. The rooms that I saw were average size, but people just had a lot of stuff in them, so they looked smaller, but they seemed OK. We went into the dining area. I think the one at the other facility is a little nicer, but I like that you can see the outside areas from there. There's lots of good lighting, so that's nice. It feels like you're almost eating outside. They had a really good recreation person. They had a group come in and sing. I guess it was a choir or a group of ministers coming and singing to the residents and they gave them gifts and things like toiletries and things like that. So, that was really nice."

"We are very happy with the care my friend is receiving. He has his own private room with a big tv. He likes it there and says he is on permanent vacation. We come and usually hang out with him about twice a week. Sometimes we eat there with him. Last week we had dinner with him there. The food was good.( oven fried chicken) when I get old, this is the place for me😊"
