"My mom stayed at Woodlands Health and Rehabilitation Center. It's great. They're doing a wonderful job with her. Everybody loves her. She loves everybody there. Her room is nice. They keep it up. They do have some activities. They do like it when some people come in and play music, they have a family room with a TV. They can just go sit and relax. Your family could come and sit in there and or be in the room. She gets her food in her room. The food is pretty good. The staff is very polite."

"My grandmother was in Tamarack Ridge Health & Rehabilitation before she passed away. I think it was very good. They were very, very caring, and the service was very good. The staff was super. They were really good. The food was good, and they did accommodate special needs. It's brand new. It's only a year old. So it's very, very clean. It's beautiful. They have a lot of sitting areas, a lot of areas for families. My grandmother, of course, did not use that, but I was able to walk around and take a look at other areas of it. They have a huge rec center and activity center and they have a courtyard, which, of course, is not open this time of year, but it looked very nice. They have a salon so you can get your hair done. So they have a lot of extra services. It is one of the most expensive ones in the area."

"They had a great Alzheimer's unit well before they were the norm. A very friendly facility. "

"The facility is modern, clean, and nice with wide hallways. They have a rehab center, and the patients are well taken care of. The staff are very friendly and meet all my mother-in-law's needs. She has been there for two-and-a-half months now. They have crafts, church service, speakers, and singing. Altercare has everything she needs. "

"Since COVID was in effect I can judge the inside of the facility but I can tell you as a daughter with someone “quarantined” on the inside I couldn’t have been happier. My father loved the staff, rooms and therapists. The administration and nursing staff kept me up to date and never hesitated to address my questions or concerns. "

" There are many nursing homes and there are many stories to be told , some good and some bad more so bad than good unfortunately and I have witness both but I can tell you Maison Aine is one of those I can say nothing but GOOD about , I have been there at different time during the day and night and always very well staffed and residents being cared for or just being compassionate with a resident when needed to be or even just the simple being a "friend". My father checked himself in at Maison Aine two years ago and don't think my dad could have found a better place that has such a great staff , they are always caring on with him to keep up his spirits and most important always looking out for his best well being with this being said I am very at ease knowing my dad is being well cared for in a very friendly and clean environment and knowing he isn't just a "number" and I am always updated on any changes as in meds ,therapy , etc. and always address any questions I may have.....I have seen on a few different occasions that some of the staff members came in on their day off to visit...wow!! now that's caring and it don't just start or end there its every single individual that works there from the nursing staff , therapist , administration and custodian....I have been greeted by at least one person if not more when we come to visit and my dad has not once complained about the staff or care he gets he always tells me "what a great bunch they have working here and I am thankful for that" and so am I. "

"My mother and father both live at The Briarwwod. I am very happy with their care. The nurses and STNA's work together to provide excellent care for my parents. Susie Nicely, the head of Nursing, is compassionate and does an excellent job managing the nursing staff. She truly cares for the residents. Jude, the social worker is excellent. If I need to talk to her she is always available. Julie, Debbie and Sarah from the Activities staff have so many things for the residents to do. My mother is enjoying the wonderful activities they have to offer. They had a Halloween party last night for the residents and it was so much fun. The food and music were fantastic. The dining staff are friendly and work hard to serve and please the residents. The food is nutritious. Kathy does a great job making sure the dining staff works together to make this happen. Lastly the STNA,s who provide care for my mother and father work hard to make sure they are happy and comfortable. The receptionist, Denise always greets me as I walk in and has something nice to say. I give the Briarwood five stars. "

"My mother in law was there for about a month suffering from ALS. She had a nurse named Bill who was very attentive, caring , and treated her like family. There were some wonderful aides as well such as Kim. The facility was clean and easy to work with and I would recommend to other family and friends ."

"My mother-in-law was at Aurora Manor Special Care Center. We did not have any complaints. She was cared for well. The nursing staff was attentive. As she was passing, there wasn't a restriction on the number of people that could be in there with her. She did not have a roommate. They seemed to be very supportive and understanding of family. If we had an issue as far as needing to change the bed quick, that kind of stuff, they were on point regarding that. They had a common meal area, but for those that needed to be in their own room, the meals were brought to them. They had activities because walking through at different times, they would make an announcement whether it was a music thing that was happening. It was apparent that they were able to engage those that were at the facility if they chose. Sometimes, they didn't have enough staff but we didn't have any specific issues in getting someone if we needed someone. There seemed to be a healthy and varied diet and they seemed to be very cognizant of the patient."

"Hudson Elms is amazing. Dorina really out do herself. My moms transition from Assisted living to SKill. I can admit, I was very nervous about her care. Mom did not want o go anywhere, She wanted to stay here, her home. The staff on both sides are amazing. Mom received all her medication and the rehab is great. Mom was even able to have double portions, Mom loves to eat. Travis made the transition very inviting."

"We are very happy with the care my friend is receiving. He has his own private room with a big tv. He likes it there and says he is on permanent vacation. We come and usually hang out with him about twice a week. Sometimes we eat there with him. Last week we had dinner with him there. The food was good.( oven fried chicken) when I get old, this is the place for me😊"

"Laurel Lake Retirement Community has been up and running for quite a while. I have a number of friends who are there and they are very happy. My brother is still in the process of selling his home and he will be moving in there in October. It was a very nice facility and that would be our choice. They have different points of entry around the facility. We didn't actually see much of the facility because we were not really interested at that time. We just went along with my brother to see what the activities were. They had just about the same activities and I guess they are similar to what they offer in Lake Chautauqua, a cultural area in New York where a lot of people go to for education and learning. They've got a beautiful lake with a walking path around it. They have films, so they show movies. They have dining and all that. "
